we want a united south bro.

You are free to unite against the north to test your political capacity.

Even the west know how politically weak the East is!

The votes coming from Sokoto and Kano alone equal the whole of the East.

Quite a shame that the only thing you can boast of the north is population.

When will you boast about the north producing the highest number of graduates, highest number of best students in exams, highest number of Nigerians who are making great achievements in the international scene etc?

You only boast of your poverty stricken population. Too bad

I have seen the east that have no problems.

The east is currently the most backward region in Nigeria!

The north remain the most peaceful region in Nigeria.

Kidnapping in Katsina and Kaduna villages, Zamfara communities doesn't mean that the whole of the north is unsafe.

Kano, Gombe, Adamawa, bauchi, Jigawa, Kebbi, yobe, taraba and other northern states are all safe.

Banditry in Zamfara, kastina and Kaduna would soon be a thing of the past.

So stop using insecurity in those places to comfort yourself.

The East should forget about presidency and focuse more on Biafra

You are still disgracing yourself.

North has always been known as the poverty capital of Nigeria and the world. These are verifiable facts. Abject poverty in the north and lack of human capacity building are part of the causes of what is going on in the north

The east is way ahead of you in Education and human capacity building and you are here making a mess of yourself.

How many northerners are engaged in international achievement compared to Igbos? How many are in multinational companies? You only shine in government agencies here where you enter through wayo game. Your quota system region should be ashamed to talk when others are talking.
Why did Northern governors visit the east in 2017 to plead for peace over ipob call for Biafra? Abeg commot for road.

Buhari had to quickly abandon his treatment in UK to come and stop ipob from seccession. Stop playing hypocrisy young man.

Am a huge fan of individual performance of a candidate no matter the region. First of all, our leaders have failed us. If a good leader from even the minority is fit and capable to be president, I'd vote him rather than my Hausa or Igbo brother i do not know his achievements. Negotiations must be done nation wide not just the North and in the spirit of nationhood not ethnicity. Everyone that calls himself a Nigerian be it Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba or Igbo deserves to be served to the fullest. But beware of bad strings. God bless us All

Your points are valid. I believe we will get there.

I pray PMB signs the new electoral act. It will help too.

They picked up a fight with the wrong side.

The north has the power and the capacity to decided who rules the country!

Sokoto and Kano state alone equals the whole of the East.

Oga leave your story please. The north has a lot of troubles in their hands despite your so called power to decide whatever you think.

My point is that Southerners should NOT destroy the process of producing a president from the south.

your position here makes no sense to what i am saying please. Your Sultan is already crying out about the many woes that you people are passing through in your north that has been producing president for many years. We hear of tales of woes about the north from Emir Sanusi, El Rufai, senator Sani, Atiku and many other northern leaders so i dont envy you guys abeg.

If APC decides that in their convention then no problem. Its not a do-or-die thing.

It doesnt call for bitterness. I hope my people should understand that.

Since Umahi and some other Igbo politicians started moving into the APC it appears our Yoruba brothers are afraid with the development hence we have noticed politicians like Fashola raising their fears under the cloak of the North respecting the zoning arrangement.

Those of them here who are talking as if there was no trace of APC in the SE before now are aware that Rochas was APC governor in Imo state till 2019 but they want to play hypocrisy. Ngige, Onum Ken Nnamani, Orji Kalu and some other Igbo senators and reps are there too. Why are they afraid of their so called 5%? ( A hypocritical statement they use to display their anger against the Igbos).

Meanwhile the north is celebrating Igbos who are defecting to the APC and urging more to join while some others are jittery. Presidency is not a do-or-die affair. Let the APC choose which of the southerners they will support.

The truth is that most Igbos were against APC before now but in politics there should be flexibility, which i think the Igbos are beginning understand now. If at the end of the day a Yoruba man becomes the APC candidate then all southerners should support the person, especially if the PDP presents a northerner.

With the recent comment of EL Rufai concerrning zoning, it appears the likes of EL Rufai may deliberately create a squabble between the Igbo and Yoruba in the APC which can distabilize the party and pave the way for a Northern candidate in the PDP to win. Lets play with wisdom in the south..

My Igbo brethren who have been saying that they will vote for a Northerner in PDP just to spite a Yoruba candidate in APC should understand that politics of bitterness does not pay. Even the GEJ you supported is dinning with APC now. Politics is not a do-or-die affair please.

A southern president (whether Yoruba or Igbo) will provide a more balanced and meaningful appointments than we have now. POLITICS OF BITTERNESS DOES NOT PAY.

The National Boundary Commission, NBC, has commenced fieldwork on the border communities of Imo and Rivers state.

The NBC, led by the Director General, Surveyor Adamu Adaji, yesterday spoke while flagging off the joint field team for Imo and Rivers at Ohaji/Egbema local government area of Imo state.

He said that both Imo and Rivers field team were expected to thoroughly give accurate data on the inter-state boundary. An exercise he said would last for two months.

Some of the affected local government areas, Adaji, mentioned in Imo and Rivers state included “Oguta, Ohaji/ Egbema, Owerri West, Ngor- Okpala and Ndoni, Emuoha, Ikwerre, Etche, Egbema respectively.

We charge the members to discharge their duties with the utmost sense of professionalism and commitment as well as to come up with comprehensive data for the definition of the inter-state boundary,” Adaji said.

It's better for them to join us and be a major tribe than being a minority to Ikwerre which is also a minority tribe in a minority state

Abia state has defiled development since 1999. Abia has been ruled by Orji Kalu, Ta Orji and now Ikpeazu. Abia hasn't had any form of development since 1999 till date.

Abia state is best described as the worst and most backward state in Nigeria devastated and ravaged with filth, horribly dilapidated bad roads with craters. Aba has degenerated into hellfire while Umuahia is more or less a rural area littered with old houses, bad roads and filth.

Abia state government is owing civil servants upto 1yr areas, owing pensioners upto 3yrs areas.

Hospitals in Abia state are mere poultry farms. Schools in Abia state can best be described as pig houses.

I am ashamed of being an indigene of Abia state

Abia state is simply the sewage pit toilet of Nigeria

And the useless Aba touts IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu are busy attacking Buhari and other tribes rather than pressure the governor of their dirty Abia state to improve their state. So shameful.

"We Can’t Be Calling Nigeria Zoo & Be Worse Than Nigeria" - Ex-IPOB Deputy

By Wisdom Nwedene

Former Deputy Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Uche Mefor has criticised the leadership style of the group's leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

IGBERE TV had reported that Mefor resigned as Kanu's Deputy after misunderstandings between the duo.

In a statement made available to IGBERE TV on Tuesday, Mefor said IPOB cannot be calling Nigeria zoo and turn around to be worse than Nigeria.

He further said that the IPOB's principle of command and control has been bastardized and there have been the tendency and disposition to tilt towards systemic favoritism and victimisation of the vulnerable by the principal officers in privileged positions.

According to him, "IPOB cannot be an all-out Igbo configuration contrary to what we preach that Biafra encompasses and includes in reality a true representation from all the component parts of Biafra (Ibibio, Igbo, Efik, Anang, Ijaw, Urhobo-Isoko-Igbanke, Igala etc) and of course the Middle Belt. These component part of Biafra must indeed and in fact be seen to be equal partners of the Biafra Restoration project and engaging directly at the decision-making level. There must be due and genuine consultation with our brothers in coastal region (or the Niger Delta region)."

The statement reads,

THE AUDACIOUS PRINCIPLE OF OUR REVOLUTION IS STRICT ADHERENCE TO THE DEFENCE OF HUMAN RIGHTS,CIVIL LIBERTIES AND FREEDOM FREEDOMS OF ALL

Today, I renew these calls which are at the root cause of why I am being called names. Most of these have taken years of being raised in discussions, in writing and meetings but all fell on deaf ears or told that it was not yet time.

IPOB cannot be seen to be visibly going into armed struggle or openly advocating violence for obvious reasons.

IPOB cannot be run unilaterally. There must be a collegiate approach to decision-making because of our unique circumstances and complex nature of our Biafran society.
IPOB cannot be run as a dictatorship or in an autocratic manner. We cannot be calling Nigeria zoo and turn around to be worse than Nigeria.

The principle of command and control has been bastardized and there have been the tendency and disposition to tilt towards systemic favoritism and victimisation of the vulnerable by the principal officers in privileged positions.

The Directorate of state is NoT fit for purpose. The members of the Directorate of State are not advising the leader genuinely and conscientiously. These are responsible for problems in different families in Biafraland and around the world and formation of cabals and clannish mentality.

IPOB cannot be an all-out Igbo configuration contrary to what we preach that Biafra encompasses and includes in reality a true representation from all the component parts of Biafra (Ibibio, Igbo, Efik, Anang, Ijaw, Urhobo-Isoko-Igbanke, Igala etc) and of course the Middle Belt. These component part of Biafra must indeed and in fact be seen to be equal partners of the Biafra Restoration project and engaging directly at the decision-making level. There must be due and genuine consultation with our brothers in coastal region (or the Niger Delta region).

There must not be religious imposition on the people of Biafra nor discrimination along these lines.

Every focus and attention must be on the injured, the maimed and the families of our departed brethrens. We must not abandon them.

IPOB must have and maintain zero tolerance culture to discrimination and go against this those peddling fake news against the Biafra struggle.

IPOB must as a matter of organisational policy and responsibility go against gang-ups, cabals, blackmail and lies directed against innocent people in order to demonise, sanction and ultimately remove them.

IPOB must tell the people and be clear its political position. We cannot preach that we do not have anything to do with politics and turn around to meeting politicians behind the scenes either directly or by proxy. The truth is that at the right time, Biafra agitators must be at the centre of decision-making(with reference to the effective government criteria of the Montevideo Declaration among others) in Biafraland (not in Nigeria) either directly or indirectly for Biafra to be restored. This is a requirement of international law from or of us.

If these are why I will continue to called saboteur and traitor, then so be it but all must be sure that I will definitely defend myself.

STAY WITH IGBERE TV. AFRICA'S NO1 COMMUNITY TV.

Why is Nnamdi Kanu and his Aba-made IPOB not bothered about the horrible state of Aba?

Why are they not pushing for good governance in Abia state?

How can your state be in such a horrible condition and you left it and concentrated on abusing people of other tribes?

Abia state has been suffering under series of bad governors for the past 20 years and the best you can do is to make noise about other tribes and clamour for your so called Biafra..

You stay in the UK and be talking nonsense while your foolish followers are being wasted here.

I urge Imo youths and other Igbos not to be deceived by Nnamdi Kanu and his Aba touts who lack the ability to set their priorities right.

Imo people have always fought against bad governors from Ikedi Ohakim to Rochas Okorocha and now Uzodimma. Meanwhile Abia people never oppose bad governance in their state but when it comes to Biafra issue or abusing other people you see them making noise. What sort of senseless attitude is that?

An educated Imo should not allow Aba touts to ride on his head. Avoid the Aba-made IPOB pls.
