Good evening everyone, I would be applying for admission for September 2018 in Canada and I would be needing all the help I can get. I want to go for a Masters in Public Health and sincerely I am confused. I hope you can put me through in your spare time like what city, how to prepare for visa, sending a killer application to the school. I have some schools in mind like UAlberta, SimonFraser, Manitoba, UBC and we all know application fee is not beans at all. One of the things I am confused about is difference between MSc and MPH, in the sense that they say MSC is thesis based (E.g Alberta). So is it that in MPH, we won't do thesis of which I'm sure that is not possible. Then the visa aspect, which would you advise paper or online route? Then home ties as well as sponsorship and also how to package an outstanding application to the school (especially the sop) because I'm not a skillful writer. My profile is listed below: First degree in Public Health, CGPA 4.29/5.00 IELTS: Overall band score, i am thinking of rewriting it. Work experience CSO in a bank: 2015 4 months. CSO in engineering firm: 2016 - 2017 7 months. CSO in an insurance firm: June 2017 till date. Medical team member in my church for almost 8 years. Also interned with NGO'S : 4 months Volunteer experience also. Interned and served at Lagos state ministry of health. Thank you all very much and I would not mind if anyone could privately message me to put me through. God bless and wishing everyone success in their endeavors. @Justwise @yemdogg abeg I'm here o 3 Likes 1 Share |

I want to thank God on behalf of a friend, she arrived Canada safely. She's not on nairaland, but I always briefed her on whatever I read here. Wishing all the expectant applicants good news and Yemdogg too 13 Likes 1 Share |

Vivipop: Hello Vivipop, I was ñot even replying you buy criminalmindz. Whether or not he has turned it to some kind of consortium I really don't know, I'm just upset that its being generalized that the awardees are his family members when I know a few people who have gotten the scholarship on merit. I'm even tired of talking about this nddc exam, it's not like I wrote the exam. Have a blessed week! Cheers |

Ezyp: I'm fine and you? So sorry jare, caught up with a lot. But sincerely him saying they are favoured is totally not nice lets tell ourselves the truth. There are people that worked really hard + God's favour to get it, not everyone has a connection/power somewhere (I'm tired of this naija concept). 1 Like |

criminalmindz: No criminalmindz this is wrong!! Please don't do the whole reverse psychology with me, I'm not defending him because I wasn't that but you don't knock off someone's hustle because there were discrepancies. Moreover "my friends" that I am talking about, I met them here in nairaland on the NDDC scholarship thread and I know how hard-working and dedicated they are. So please I would not just talk or blab like a loose cannon for something I dont know. I even know two people (lawyers) from my state (Delta), I have never met them in person but we got to know each other through nairaland and they are presently in the UK (won it last year). I would never justify cheating, favouritism or bias rather I would commend merit so you last sentence we totally out of order. Thank you 2 Likes |

Vivipop: But that's not true now!! I have a lot of friends that won last year and the year before and are not related to him. Some are even from Ondo state, so please don't say that. P.s I am not related to him, I just saw him last during the exams. 3 Likes |
