Long story short, we would later had issue and broke up. She had 2 block me via Facebook and also ignore my calls till this day. The money isn't smtin I needed, but wouldn't want 2 let her av it as I felt emotionally and financially defrauded. If there is a way I could retrieve it back, I would, but if otherwise, I would just let go. Lesson learnt.

Issue like dis is very common. Wat need do is go ahead nd register since ur school av d record of ur correct name. Shud afta application, ur name in ur NYSC dashboard appear 2 be d incorrect one, ol u need do is apply 4 CORRECTION OF NAME on ur dashboard (dat's one of it essence), NYSC wud get in touch wif ur school as regard such effect nd since dey (ur school) av ur correct name in dia record, dey wud approve nd it wud be corrected on ur dashboard (thou d time it wud tk varies).

I am a foreign trained student (UK). I was posted to serve in this batch, but due to health reasons, I'll regretfully be unable to make it. I'm still recovering.

My question is as thus, I heard that there is a stream 2 going in May. So, do I have to register again to go with the next stream, and is it normally possible to go with the next set? Are there any extra steps I need to take?

Also, would the state I was initially posted to be the same state I eventually follow for the stream 2?

Please, I need a bit of clarification on this. Any help would be appreciated.

D way we av it b4 d intervention of Covid dat's now causin sm changes in d approach was dat, u don't av 2 re-register 4 Stream2, ol u need do is sit back nd wait till dose dat didn't mk Stream1 nd dose wu wud register 4 Stream2 2 start printing dia Call-Up letter, den u join dem 2 print/reprint urs too, but wif d mandatory request 4 evri deployed PCMs 2 report 2 camp, we can only hope such approach still remain, but shud dia wasn't room 4 it 4 dis Batch, just relax nd join d next Batch by applying 4 Revalidation, hopeful u wud av recover by den.

Nd 4 weda d State u were deployed 2 wud remain shud d approach of u avin access 2 join Stream2, YES, d state wud remain so. Wat wud change is just d date of orientation camp on it, evri oda wud remain.

Just apply 2hru health since u got ur medical report already, chances r it wud push 2hru shud u r convincin during d interview @ ur camp. Thou, not ol camp organize interview 4 redeployment over health issue, but most do. 2 me, it's d cheapest nd easiest route 2 redeploy aside dose insecure states wif automatic redeployment offer.

We are in similar shoe bro. Got numerous verification mail, but non has been successful. Stumbled across dia response as regard a complaint via dia Twitter handle nd decide 2 share maybe it cud help.

The question I have is that when I was registering for my NYSC, I was told to put 2007-2013 as my year of graduation from secondary school (which is correct), but now that my certificate reads 2016 on my O'level, will it be an issue? Taking into notice that the O'level exam I wrote was an internal exam and not an external one.

I don't see any issue here. D timeframe of 2007-2013 u were ask 2 put is d right one as d certificate (WAEC) is d standard one which was carried out by d sec. school u graduated 4rm. It wud av bin abnormal shud u put 2007-2016 just 2 accommodate d 2016 exam. Ol oda exams aside WAEC r just subordinate or alternative as d case may be, WAEC is d standard cert.
Moreover, NYSC is less concern abt ur oda cert (Neco), d info dey requested 4 is d period of ur secondary school which shud normally be 6years, dey aren't even askin u fill ur grades dat cud mk u worry hw d Maths missin in ur WAEC cud be accommodated. 2 dem (NYSC), 4 u 2 successfully graduate 2 enrol 4 such service, due diligence must av bin done 4rm ur primary school level 2 wen u finish.

So, chill, dia is no cause 4 alarm.

So, hw fast it will be, depend on ur school.

If d number of PCMs dat couldn't mk it 2 d Stream1 who are now in camp is still not up2 d numbers dey do require, den fresh registration will be open 4 Stream2 2 increase d number. Thou, dia is high chances of dat happening i.e. Fresh Registration 4 Stream2 2 accommodate dose who missed out in registering 4 d just concluded one.

Yes bro. He need not do anything than register whenever he dim fit or ready should next registration commence. His data is still safe provided he made it 2 d Senate list without issue.

N.B: Even if he chose 2 go serve @70years or over, provided he is still willing nd able, his details will always be there, nd he wud be gud 2 go. Stay bless.

It depend on hw quick ur school respond 2 it. D timeframe 4 dis Batch is short 2 effect such changes. Being patient is ur best bet 2 avoid issue in camp.

Payment is not wat dey consider b4 posting sm PCMs 4 Stream1 nd odaz 4 Stream2 as posting is random.

Beside, payment is optional, not compulsory. It's just advisable one pay so as 2 safe ones stress of needin 2 visit one's school 4 his/her green card nd call-up letter which cud even be delay. So, it's best 2 pay.

Still go on 2 pay, it's not a must u go wif Stream1, u can olwez wait 4 Stream2.

Thanks mate. Tho I also have a misspelling on my transcript. A missing letter in my other name. Surname and first name is correct.. I complained to the school and was told I'll be getting a new transcript which will be used for physical verification.

My fear is during the physical verification, is it advisable to use the new transcript or I should use the "errored" one which I uploaded. Or I should just take both incase I need to explain myself.

That's a silly nd sensitive mistake 4rm ur school. Just ask dem 2 give u an official note/letter if possible 2 back it up nd go with both transcripts 2 avoid issue in camp. Thou, it depend on d personnel who gonna attend 2 u, sm might let it slide, sm might not. Just play it safe.
