Its the came thing as jack.
Its the positioner that will move the actuator once you press or command it to move it will send signal to the
Jack/ actuator and that we move your dish along the Clark belts.

it is possible to combine Yamal 402 55 east and Astra 2f 28.2 east on one 90cm dish.
i did this long time ago when i combine 68.5 east mytv and 28.2 on one 90cm dish

now we have simple holder for Yamal 402 and astra 2f on 90cm dish,this is easy for every one to do it.

Yamal 402 is a satellite we should all look out for, i was the one to talk about Amos 5 on this forum now amos 5 is best for FTA
i dont know what will happen to astra 2f but ones Multitv is going to lose more of there channels on Astra 2f and Yamal is taking east Africa,west and central Africa this bird is a must watch bird

Now to get your true south satellite go back to you where you got your nss7 remember you mark it on the pole just move your dish straight to that mark if you do things correctly you should have your full signal on that point.

Now bolt the neck to the pole such that you can move it slowly.as you move towards your south track astra 4.8 decline your declination angle gradually and track until you get astra 4.8 e as in the picture below.in the picture you will see that the angle as changed from zero to 4.8e.on that satellite u should have full signal.
Then confirm if you are good on the Clark belt by gradually allow your dish to come down to nss7 which is your east .if you get full signal on both astra 4.8 and nss7 it means you are good then lock your dish neck .come to east do the same steps if you get full signal on dstv and astra 4.8e it mean the stress is over.bolt and lock everything attach your jack and positioner.
What next input any tp and move your dish

Once you successfully track your west mark your west come to your east and mark as shown in the diagram2.

Now move your dish back to east and track dstv once you have done that mark your dish neck .do as you did when tracking west .
Note: do not tighten you bolt and nut while doing all this.the essence of doing that is for you to locate your east and west using satellite that is very close or receivable in your area.this is what will guide you to align all other satellites.

For you to get all satellites along the Clark belt which is the arc on the first picture you must get your southern satellite using satellite that is closer to your true south in my own case I will choose astra 4.8

We have discussed that way back but let me just give you a simple tutorial. Using the picture below if you are above the equator if you not its going to be opposite

Make sure your dish pole is plume at 90 degrees such that when you raise your dish to the sky it will see zero degree.in the picture look at where your lnb should be its 0 degree to the sky. Now locate your east west and south. You may start tracking from either east or west but in my own case from this diagram let's start from west.

Choose nss7 and start tracking once you get full signal use a marker or chalk to make a mark on your pole and the dish neck straight line please.this line is to guide you where you get your nss7.
Note the mark should appear in two locations your west and east.

You are actually right but I found joy doing it that way. Even, I am on the verge of adding the following: Eutelsat 8 West A, Eutelsat 5 West A, Intelsat 10-02 -C-band 0.9°W and Eutelsat 10A 10.0°E (C-band). I already tracked them but I shall fix the LNB very soon. Thank God I am back to the forum.

That dish is awesome.I can see close to 7 lnbs and enough RG16 cable.
But if we do the costing of this lnb and the cables plus the disc.plus the stress to set it up.mehn! Its not a child's play.
I think we should rather go for motorise set up than fixed dish.most of us make this mistake when we purchase our first dish as time goes by we understand we are limited to a particular satellite and as a result of the curiosity and fever in this hobby we always want to explore and have more satellites.
Fixed dish should be discouraged.we should embrace motorise than fixed with over 20 lnb. All you need is jack and positional which in an actual fact the price is not up to those lnb , cable and the stress.

Don't lease for farming .its a life time venture o advice you to buy a land if you mean business .you will lose some of your properties if you want to vacate the land.I don't really buy that idea.even .if the land is your if the odour is much or you want a bigger place you can sell the land that will appreciate in money you can use that to purchase a new land elsewhere.

not to that extent bro..Aluminium paint does not produce enough heat to blow up lnb..or it may produce heat but not for thermal energy lol!..I have used it recommended it to a cousin his dish surface was already rusting both of our lnb did not blow up ..though he experienced some improved signal and the shiny qualities will fade away with time / lnb with black housing will absorb heat in a hot condition and may even shrink .."aluminium paint is good paint to prevent rusting".but not to be recommended to the amature users..lol..not same with aluminum foil which is used for making solar cooker dish etc...lol

Odilibe let me digress a little bit.I once watch a documentary where a parabolic dish power a water pump.and I think with our ideas here we can make things happen meaning not only for TV reception but also for energy generation and with our sun here I think its going to be a sustainable energy.I am searching seriously for any material that can generate heat.

Some years back. I once covered my dish with an aluminium foil to increase the signal. I got more than what i bargained for. The next day. just in the afternoon. The LNB was smoking just like somebody was lighting it with matches. It was smoking and later caught fire. It was people around who put it off. Some ignorant ones was saying that it was where i hid my JUJU. So when i came back. i immediately removed the foil and that ended the magic story. So aluminium color can be asking more than you bargained for.

Good that mean aluminium paint will be good for making solar thermal energy for power generation.Good idea.

PLS I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE ON THIS ASAP. I WAS DO A BLIND SCAN ON MY DECODER, 50% THROUGH THE SCAN NEPA TOOK THE LIGHT. WHEN THEY BROUGHT THE LIGHT BACK I FOUND. I TRIED DO THE AGAIN BUT GOT NOT GET ANY STATION. DESPITE USING THE RIGHT FREQUENCY AND SYMBOL RATR FOR MULTI TV WHICH IS FR:12525 SR 27000. IT GOT ME WONDERING, IS IT THAT THE POWER OUTAGE HAS SPOIL MY LNB.? Pls I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE.

@faithchild. This is the colour I adopted for my fabricated dishes.Stick to Meyer paint as George D suggested.

Painting is to beautify the dish and to prevent rusting.Does it have any other special effects on the dish.I have seen dishes of various colours from white to black to grey and to army camouflage.
We talk about matte paint, gloss, emulsion etc.I have used gloss and emulsion the performance of this paint is nothing to do it the signal performance .some paints can withstand all weather while some can't.pls let us shed more light into this.

You can use meyer paint. Buy white and black and mix them in equal proportions.
You will get a thick and solid grey colour. That is the trick my brother.

Test will be good but are you sure your water doesn't have cholera.fowl cholera can be very deadly if not dictect at the early stage I lost over 60 last two years.test result shows they have cholera.

Try ses 4.8e if you hit 97% it means your dish is good

Nss7 22e 97 move to ses 4.8e 97% and eutelsat 36e or astra 28.2e 97%.
Avoid any blockage along your line of sight.

Faith child, solution to your dish isn't far fetched if only you can go through our discussion last night.check what odilibe and George were saying concerning your dish set up to some extent it tallies with what we discussed.You don't need to change any lnb or buy the most expensive one research here has shown that even the cheapest lnb at times could out perform most expensive one.Work more on your dstv signal multitv and Amos if you get good signal of 97 u should be good
You have 97 % on your nss7 meaning your west is good your east is where you need to work more that is why your dish pole must be plum.
