They better put their house in order. 250k job loss is not a joke. The labour market is already stretched to full capacity, if not at the breaking point.
did u actually read the post? Can u even read? That company is already causing us job losses. They were granted waivers to manufacture locally, but rather they were importing, causing us loss of jobs and capital flight.
Let them go. Let them close down. Nothing will happen. They never really created jobs anyway with that decision to import. Let the bank seize their assets and let them go
Education / Re: Winners Chapel Acquires Land For Universities In Ghana And Congo - Beecroft by obstead200(m): 6:18am On May 04, 2019
HigherEd:

A whole lot actually. In enrollment, the only church that would exceed Winners members in Covenant university would be Catholics - and that is for obvious reasons. Catholics are the largest denomination in Nigeria.

I schooled in a Winners chapel's university so I can tell you that if their schools aren't 100% enrolled by church members it would be because of academic competition and not inability to pay.

Except for my 400 level, two of my roomies were always winners members from my 100 level days. So just keep quiet eh.
U are a well known Oyedepo stooge and unrepentant defender. So personally, I really don't take u serious. The question is; are u saying, in all honesty, that winners chapel has up to 30% members who can cough up the large fee charged in landmark and covenant? If Ur answer is yes, just prepare for Hellfire. The Bible says all liars shall go to hell.

My uncle is very rich. Yet he refused to send his son to landmark, claiming that the fees is too much.

Anyway, my primary concern here is that it is time so laws are ammended in this country. Churches gat to start paying taxes on all their income. How can one man be making so much cash, all tax free? Injustice of the highest order.

All politicians in Nigeria irrespective of their parties are threats to the existence of the masses but tribalism, religion and party sentiments have made some people to turn blind eyes to things happening in their backyard only to be seeing the things happening in another zone.
Abia state has been poorly managed, I think more than even what Okorocha's misdeeds are perpetrated on a daily basis in that state but since he's from a political party connected to the South East and also a Christian plus also from the zone, whatever he does are always overlooked.
Imagine the rants from certain folks here if this were to be Okorocha, or from the West.

By the time some people will understand that no politician care about them, Nigeria can start working.

That was an assassination. The perpetrator knew his target. The weed question was a distraction
There are so much access to weapons in SA. Practicing gansterism and cultism is very possible.
Also the SA authorities don't give a hoot about investigating Nigerian deaths. So the case goes and goes.
If I go to SA on business or vacation, I will avoid Nigerians as much as possible.

Career / Re: How To Calculate Your New Salary Based On New National Minimum Wage: Photo by obstead200(m): 9:16am On Apr 23, 2019
Officialgarri:
Let's assume this is true......

What's the essence of this long calculations. Simply calculate the percentage increase between 18k and 30k. Whatever the percentage increase is, multiply it by your current income......
but it is not even true.

Buhari said it clearly that the salary increase would not necessarily be proportional, and it won't apply automatically to every civil servant.
Infact, in his words, only those not presently on the new minimum wage, and (by implication) including those whose present salary might place them at par with people junior in rank to them when the new minimum wage is effected should expect to benefit from the new wage, for now.

They can contest all they want. As long as they don't get the PDP and the APC tickets.
Because those are coming down south.
And should both not come down south, they can rule over a balkanized Nigeria.
The Yoruba will only agree to stay in Nigeria if a Southerner is president after the 8 years of the north.
Anything else and we will leave.
And since we are the glue that holds Nigeria together, everyone else will leave.
We prefer to be beaten to the post by another Southerner than have another Northerner there.
If you are from the North, perish those thoughts. Na your Southern oil block you dey play with so.
I guess this is a way for the SE to try to achieve Biafra. Hoping the North makes the mistake to try to keep it for themselves knowing Yoruba will revolt.
But the Northerners are smarter than you give them credit for. Greed to hold on to the presidency will break the country. Fact! They won't even try it

They will do it and nothing will happen. Infact, all they need to do is to gather the support of a few strategic Yoruba backstabbers leaders and the deal is sealed.
Knowing the yorubas, this won't be difficult
