marvelife:the point is.......they are just kids. They don't have to face all of this. They are too innocent for that 1 Like |

Blackfire:no wahala. The north is the father...we accept this truth. However, The north installs bad governance and The north still suffers the most from bad governance. The circle will continue until Ur block head receive sense. The time has come to put tribal sentiments aside and go for pure competence. Let's hope u can accept this truth. The average SE person does not really care about the tribe of Peter Obi. Personally I don't......infact I wish he is a northerner sef, just because all we want is competence. 1 Like |

aribisala0:I do not need research to tell me that Ur interpretation of the law here is flawed. If u are recording the scenery and u capture me inevitably, then it is ok. But If u pointedly chose to follow me, chase me, hound me up and down just to video me, then it amounts to stalking, harassment and violation of my private space. Except I am constituting a nuisance and there is reasonable basis to prove that Ur action in recording me is intended to be used as some sort of evidence to assist the law enforcement |

Felimax:he was lucky Aregberascal does not know the law. The ex governor can actually seize that phone and smash it on the floor, and the court will support him. He has every right to his privacy. If I were the governor, I will bring out my own phone and record him too. Then I will whisper to him that his video would be sent to the DSS and SARS, who would pick up members of his family, particularly his mother, in Nigeria and make life horrible for them. That would reset his "this is America" brains . NB: is not like I support theiving governors, but that does not mean I should violate his foundamental human rights unduly |

Ishilove: Same here. If u are not a blood relative, a very very close friend (closer than a brother) or a boss to whom I owe allegiance or from whom I am seeking some strong support, I will not cross state borders for any reason. I will just calculate my transport fare, add small thing on top and put it in envelope as cash gift to you. Case closed. I can let anybody stress me joor. I have food in my house.......even in my base, I always eat before going to occasions. I dont ever look forward to eating there. I only go just to honor the person and show solidarity. If u no give me food or drink, I no dey even notice. U will even be lucky if I spent up to an hour in your occasion. 4 Likes |

JovialJune:my dear sister, that Text from his friend's wife is NOT INNOCENT AT ALL. If u look at it with the eyes of an elder, there are hidden suggestions all over the message. The woman wants to do something other than helping him with the chores. I can bet a month salary that this is the case here. The man is wise to have seen the red flag. I can't even start explaining the number of red flags I noted in the message. But that woman has no respect for her husband because he is broke. She wants to Bleep the dude and make him her ATM machine. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

dre11: Believe this story at your own peril. My version is as follows. The babe had a disagreement with the dude..... probably over money or about another woman. The dude was proud and unrepentant. The babe decided to teach him a lesson The babe knew the dude had naked pics of hers.....(maybe she sent them herself) ... the babe had a police chief sugar daddy (yes, u need to be quite high ranking to successfully cook lies of this nature and no one will question it) so she invited him to humiliate the guy with arrest and initial gra gra of prosecution, using the nude pics as evidence. The brother of course resisted because he knew his brother was innocent (or he did not resist sef, just that the babe hated him as well) The rest is history |

ahnie:I am not sure I like ur general approach to issues. You are uncouth, foul mouthed and very immature in the way u communicate. It really turns me off. But I guess u are probably a little girl that got married to a money-miss-road. That explains the immaturity in your communications. We forgive u. Now to answer the post directly. IF your husband's friends Make passes at you, That is not enough reasons to generalise. Sort your issues out with them. Why will I chase married Women, When there are dozens of sweet single Ladies out there? married Women can never Look attractive to me. No matter how hot they are. The ring is a big turn-off I also Feel you have a price . U seem to be talking only because your toasters are all broke . I wonder if u will still talk when an odogwu throws big dollars at you. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Emmanuel909090:Ur brain is working joor. She clearly skipped a large part of the story. Guys that proposition women aggressively are less likely to pick offence easily. Thier eyes are usually on the goal so they will take a lot of insults calmly and casually. I venture to suggest that the lady did much more than just reprimand the man. I might be wrong though 3 Likes |

Daestro3:I am not a lawyer......but cases are not tried on social media. I can already find loopholes in this case......based on the section of the law someone pasted on copyright. A smart lawyer can easily quash both cases. Buttje company should be ready to out-spend sabinus in the court. The judges clearly has enough basis to rule for or against the plaintiff here. It depends on who pays the higher cash. If I were sabinus, I will take the first secret offer for an out of court settlement, even if na 20million. The company has deep pockets and will likely out-spend him in court. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ChybuzzDD:of course it is the best advice possible. I did not dispute that. But better still, let her study that nursing over there. It is better....and she can easily pay her way through school and send some money back home at same time. That is my point. |

Pearl1212:don't go for B.sc accounting. Go for something that is marketable internationally. E.g data analytics, computer science, robotics etc. A distinction in statistics suggests that u are brilliant (except u got it the sorting way) so why not maximize Ur potentials? I am a chartered accountant so I think I should know better. As I dey try to japa form naija now, that's when I realized that accounting is overrated. Don't get me wrong, if u know Ur onions as an accountant, securing a (basic) job in naija should not be too difficult. As someone that works with young pple (I am a lecturer), I have found job placements for dozens of my students. But u shud look beyond that, especially since u are still young. 1 Like |

Rugaria:until we can implement a death penalty for corruption of even the smallest type, DON'T EVER in your life again attempt to compare Nigeria with China in this context. Nationalisation of businesses in Nigeria is, and has always remained a breeding ground for mediocrity, nepotism, inefficiency, revenue leakage etc. |

Moneyyman:let her uncle just be kind enough to get her an admission in a cheap school in uk and pay her first tuition. As long as she is not lazy, trust me, she will be ok. She can even gradually repay him for the first year tuition. My younger sister is an example. She is a computer science graduate. My brother was kind enough to advance her a loan for her first tuition into a UK school for nursing. She is in Uk paying her way through nursing school right now I repeat, abroad has a way of twisting the brotherhood spirit of most Nigerians. |

kumbhuru:I won't return Ur insults, I forgive u. My personal opinion here is that if u can leave naija today, why wait for 2mrw? the fact is, once she can cross over and maybe get her first year fees paid, she can easily fund the rest by herself. My sister is in UK, studying nursing and doing 2 jobs. She is paying her own way through school. Care giver jobs are in high demand. Student nurses can easily do that and raise good money |

Peter532:u even get mouth to abuse pple. Oga u impregnated a 16yr old girl and took away her options. Lucky for her, after Bearing Ur child, she rediscovered herself and chose to enjoy her life. U shud be happy for her. She would have become so frustrated in your house that she will murder u. Go and take care of Ur child.....and find a woman more mature. 3 Likes |

[quote author=NaughtyBrainiac post=112878749]Hello All, A friend studied Biochemistry in one of Nigeria's Federal Universities, she has completed NYSC but she does not have a job yet. Her brother who currently resides in the UK wants her to enrol in a school of Nursing in Nigeria and she is not happy with what her brother wants. I asked her if her brother's reason is because Nursing is profitable in the UK and she said YES, that's his reason. The goal is that she'd eventually relocate to the the UK. My concerns are: 1. Why study a course like Biochemistry and go back to a school of Nursing? Aren't there better alternatives? 2. Most of the people I know that attended school of Nursing always go back to the Univeristy for BSc. Nursing. 3. School of Nursing in Nigeria will take her about 3 years and I am sure she will still need to write some exams before she will be able to work as a Registered Nurse in the UK. Are there possibilities of moving to the UK to study that version of Nigerian School of Nursing? If yes, how expensive is it? On the other hand, if she's able to go to the UK for her masters, masters in what course can she apply for (please bear in my that she is a Biochemistry graduate) that would give her chances of securing a good job in the UK ( At least, a kind of job that would still make her earn something close to what Nurses earn)? Pleas |
