I have worked for an Indian, in an Indian company in India and I can tell you the labour laws are completely different. There i worked on saturdays and we clocked in with your thumb print and your days and hours are calculated at the end of the month to be paid on the 10th of the next month.

Even cleaners would clean in the morning, then serve as tea boys in the kitchen after which they would serve as office assitants and messengers during the day, then clean in the evening before going home and they would be paid peanuts.

The good schools in India are usually very competitive and difficult to get into because the Indians themselves are falling over themselves to get into them, the other schools are just waste of time. India has one of the greatest certificate mills in asia with shops posing as universities with heavy online presence and high profile websites.

While Cost of living and education is considerably low, the community especially the northern parts are not english speaking or friendly. Nigerians there also have not helped the situation by drug peddling and police bribery.
