Sports / Chelsea's 10 Biggest Transfer Flops Since 2000: From Adrian Mutu To Juan Veron by ochuski(m): 11:27am On Jul 20, 2021
Here's a list of some of Chelsea's worst-ever signings, with the transfer market still open. Since billionaire owner Roman Abramovich assumed ownership of Chelsea in 2003, the club has been a major player in the transfer market. Chelsea has risen to become one of the most powerful clubs in the world because of Abramovich's money and his brutal yet successful method of selecting and firing managers. And, after winning his club's second Champions League trophy last season, he appears to be eager to spend big money once more in order to reclaim domestic dominance.

However, while many of his purchases have proven to be successful, others have not, and the club has squandered a significant amount of money as a result. So, without further ado, here are the Blues' worst signings in recent times.

Adrian Mutu (2003-2004)
Mutu joined Chelsea from Parma in 2003 for a fee of £15.8 million, making him one of the worst Chelsea signings ever. Although his on-field record isn't bad (ten goals in 27 games), he failed a drugs test for cocaine in 2004 and was sacked by the club. The situation became more complicated after Chelsea filed a 10-year legal action against Mutu for breach of contract. He was found guilty and sentenced to reimburse the club £14.5 million.

Veron Juan Sebastian (2003-2007)
Veron's ability was undeniable when he moved from Lazio to Manchester United for the most expensive deal in English football history. However, he struggled to adapt to the English game and only made 15 appearances for the Blues in four years, during which time he was loaned out twice.

Parker Scott (2004-2005)
Parker's situation was made much more difficult by Jose Mourinho's arrival at the club, especially after he bought Tiago, who was favored to the Englishman in Chelsea's midfield. More was expected of him during his 18-month stay with the Blues, but the way he conducted himself off the field demonstrates why he will always be revered as a professional.

Del Horno Asier (2005-2006)
Del Horno appeared to be a good buy after joining Athletic Club for £8 million in 2005. The left-back arrived with a reputation as a tough, powerful defender, but he struggled under Mourinho. Del Horno moved to Valencia for £4.8 million after only one season with the club, less than half of what they spent for him.

Jiri Jarosik (2005-2006)
Jarosik was an odd addition who never seemed to fit in with Claude Makelele, Michael Essien, or Frank Lampard. Following his £3 million transfer from CSKA Moscow, he made just 14 appearances before being loaned out to Birmingham for the remainder of the 2005-06 season, where he got more regular playing time. After that, the Blues sold him to Celtic.

Andriy Shevchenko (2006-2009)
Mourinho never seemed to desire Shevchenko, and the media chastised Abramovich for bringing in an aging striker who is 30 for such a big fee (£30 million) without consulting his manager. Unfortunately, Shevchenko's demise was largely due to his age, as he was no longer the player he once was.

Rajkovic Slobodan (2007-2011)
Chelsea paid £3.8 million for one of the top defensive talents in the world to join them at Stamford Bridge. However, Rajkovic's misery began when he was unable to obtain a work permit. For the 2007-08 season, he was loaned to PSV Eindhoven, followed by a two-year stint at FC Twente. Even after obtaining his work visa, he was loaned out to Vitesse once more. The Serb eventually decided to leave Chelsea and secured a contract release without making a single competitive appearance for the club.

Yuri Zhirkov (2009-2011)
The Blues paid £18 million for an injury-plagued Zhirkov. Even when he was fit, he was unable to challenge Ashley Cole for the starting left-back position and was poor in the attacking third. Chelsea, on the other hand, was able to recoup part of the money they spent on him when they agreed to a £13 million agreement with Anzhi Makhachkala in 2011.

Alvaro Morata (2017-2020)
Morata was signed from Real Madrid for £60 million in 2017, yet he is undoubtedly the biggest disappointment on this list. The Spanish striker showed flashes of his ability with the ball at his feet, but he was ultimately inconsistent, which has been his tale throughout his career. After one injury, he slumped and was later dropped from Maurizio Sarri's starting lineup. Due to his poor play, the club was compelled to sign Gonzalo Higuain on a season-long loan in 2019. The next summer, Morata was sold to Atlético Madrid, a local rival of Los Blancos.

Arrizabalaga Kepa (2018- present)
While it's perhaps unfair to label Kepa a flop while he's still at the club, it's more than justified after Chelsea paid £71.6 million for his services. No one will forget Kepa's defiance in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City when Sarri attempted to substitute him and he refused to comply. Despite recovering his spot in the team, he has since lost his number one shirt to Edouard Mendy, and it will take a lot for Thomas Tuchel to choose Kepa above Mendy after the Senegalese international helped the Blues win the Champions League for the second time last season.

Marc Guéhi is one of the most talented center-backs to emerge from Chelsea's academy in recent years, but, like Fikayo Tomori, he will be pursuing his career elsewhere for the time being.

The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with Crystal Palace, which is expected to be for approximately £15-20 million. Chelsea is said to have a sell-on clause as well as the ability to match any future bids accepted by Palace, so there's a chance we'll be able to correct this mistake.

Chelsea confirmed the deal through a post on their official Twitter account and wished the young lad well.

Guéhi will now get the chance to prove himself at the highest level after an eye-catching 18 months on loan at Swansea City, where he came close to earning a promotion to the Premier League twice. Given his recent performances and the high level of interest in him this summer, it would not be shocking to see him succeed.

Guéhi joined Chelsea at the age of nine and has made two first-team appearances, both in the League Cup in 2019-20. He has represented England at several international youth levels, but he is also eligible for Côte d'Ivoire, where he was born.

Marc, best of luck!.

Sports / Confirmed: Chelsea Hands Armando Broja A New 5 Year Contract by ochuski(m): 4:46pm On Jul 18, 2021
Chelsea striker Armando Broja has signed a new five-year contract with the club, which will keep him in London until 2026. Broja played last season on loan with Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands. A deal had earlier been rumored to have been reached, and the club has now confirmed the announcement.

Last season, the 19-year-old scored 11 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions, including a goal in Chelsea's 6-1 pre-season thumping of Peterborough. The Albanian has followed in the footsteps of academy graduate Mason Mount, who, after rising through the levels in west London, played a season in the Eredevisie.

Broja has already made his Premier League debut for Chelsea, though it was just for a few minutes. During a 4-0 win against Everton in March 2020, Frank Lampard gave the teenager four minutes. As the club looks for a goalscorer, the striker will try to push his way into Thomas Tuchel's first-team plans this season.

Broja could force his way into the first-team squad after impressing in pre-season following the loss of Olivier Giroud to AC Milan and the uncertainty surrounding Tammy Abraham's future. The forward showed his ability throughout his time at Cobham, and the club was eager to sign him after his recent success in the Netherlands.

Broja remarked after signing his new contract: "I'm genuinely looking forward to starting a new contract with Chelsea. It was a memorable occasion for me to make my first-team debut last year after coming through the Academy here, before earning more experience on loan at Vitesse last season. I want to build on these foundations, and I'm excited to continue to improve and make an influence at Chelsea in the coming years."

Sports / Transfer News: Chelsea Considering Lewandowski After Failing To Secure Haaland by ochuski(m): 2:33pm On Jul 18, 2021
According to the Sun on Sunday, Chelsea is considering a £50 million move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski as a replacement for top target Erling Haaland. Haaland is in high demand at Stamford Bridge, where the Blues are looking to add a new striker to help with their goal-scoring difficulties.

Jorginho, a central midfielder, was their best scorer in the Premier League last season, with seven goals, while big money 2020 signings Timo Werner and Kai Havertz combined for just ten league goals.

Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, has reportedly set a €180 million asking price for Haaland, which might rule out a bid for the Norwegian by the Champions League winners. As a result, Chelsea is thought to be exploring alternative targets, with Lewandowski being one of them.

Last season, the 32-year-old scored at least 13 more goals (41) than any other player in the Bundesliga, breaking the record for the most goals scored in a Bundesliga season. Lewandowski's current contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2023, and the German club is keen to extend it, but Chelsea is willing to spend big on the Poland international as they want a big name striker to lead the line in 2021/22.

The representative for the Belgian striker claims that the Serie A champions have nothing to worry about during the summer transfer window.
Despite reports that the Belgian is interested in Premier League heavyweights Chelsea and Manchester City, Romelu Lukaku's representative has convinced Inter that his client would not be looking for a move this summer.
Thomas Tuchel and Pep Guardiola are looking for a new striker, and there are few better options in Europe than the prolific 28-year-old.
Lukaku also has useful English experience with to periods at West Bromwich Albion, Everton, and Manchester United, where he scored over 100 Premier League goals after being denied opportunities at Stamford Bridge.

What's been said so far?
Inter are under pressure to sell this summer, with Achraf Hakimi already gone, but Lukaku's agent maintains that the rumors surrounding the star striker are unfounded. When asked by FCInterNews if the Serie A champions can be calm, Federico Pastorello replied, "Yes, definitely, sure." He further added, "Romelu is on vacation, and I believe he deserves a vacation like the one he's having; there are no issues."

Is Lukaku set to stay at Inter?
The Nerazzurri's financial problems are making life difficult for new leader Simone Inzaghi.
Lukaku, on the other hand, is under contract until the summer of 2024 and has yet to see an exit door open. Pastorello has met with Inter's top brass to further discuss future plans and looks content for Lukaku to stay in his current surroundings. "It went well," he said of the meetings, "and we took stock of various circumstances."
Lukaku joined Inter in 2019 from Manchester United, and in 95 games in all competitions, he has scored 64 goals.

Sports / Chelsea Transfer News: Olivier Giroud Set To Complete Move To AC Milan For £855 by ochuski(m): 11:48am On Jul 17, 2021
AC Milan is likely to finalize a permanent transfer of Olivier Giroud; the Serie A club will pay Chelsea an initial fee of €1 million (£855,000) for the France international striker. Giroud signed a one-year contract extension with Chelsea last summer, with the club opting to extend it for another year in June.

Olivier Giroud has said his goodbyes to his Chelsea teammates and is ready to join AC Milan on a two-year deal. On Friday morning, around 7 a.m the France international arrived at Milan's La Madonnina clinic for a medical before the transfer.

Following his physical, Giroud signed a deal with AC Milan, and prior to the club's formal announcement, the striker thanked his old team on Twitter.

He said; "To all the Blues, to my teammates, to all my coaches, to the whole club, a huge thank you for these special moments Folded hands. I'm starting a new journey with a light and happy heart. Our victories in Fa Cup, Europa League, and Champions League have been magnificent. Love Oli G Blue heart."

Last year’s summer, Giroud who is now 34-year-old signed a new one-year contract with Chelsea, and the club exercised an option to extend it for another 1 year in June this year. It would be recalled that Giroud was sold to Chelsea by Arsenal for £18 million in January 2018, six years after purchasing him for £10.8 million from Ligue 1 champion Montpellier.

During his time at Stamford Bridge, he scored 39 goals in 119 appearances and won three major trophies, including the Champions League triumph in May. Giroud was part of France's Euro 2020 campaign that failed and saw them eliminated on penalties by Switzerland in the round of 16 after a 3-3 extra-time draw.

AC Milan has already bought Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea, having exercised their £25 million option to buy the teenage defender after a successful six-month loan spell, and are also interested in Hakim Ziyech and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Last season, the Italian team finished second in Serie A which ensured their return to the Champions League after a seven-year hiatus.

Foreign Affairs / Jacob Zuma: 7 Things To Know As He Begins His Jail Term by ochuski(m): 7:30pm On Jul 10, 2021
After days of drama and suspense and finally handing himself over, South Africa's ex-president Jacob Zuma will begin a 15-month sentence for contempt on Thursday. The Constitutional Court had sentenced Zuma to prison on June 29 for ignoring anti-graft investigators, setting a precedent for the continent in imprisoning a former president of state for refusing to reply to a corruption investigation.
As Jacob Zuma starts serving his jail term, here are 7 things to know;

1. Zuma was elected in office as President of South Africa on May 9, 2009.
2. Jacob Zuma resigned out of office in 2018 and was replaced by Cyril Ramaphosa after a nine-year tenure.
3. He faces 16 charges of fraud, graft, and racketeering relating to a 1999 purchase of fighter jets, patrol boats, and military gear from five European arms firms for 30 billion rands, then the equivalent of nearly $5 billion.
4. He has applied with the Constitutional Court to have his sentence overturned, and that application is set to be considered on July 12.
5. Zuma will be held in isolation for two weeks, in line with COVID-19 standards, and will only be eligible for parole after four months according to Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola.
6. The correctional facility where Jacob Zuma will be serving is in a town called Estcourt, which is located in the southeastern KwaZulu-Natal province.
7. This is not the first time Jacob Zuma is serving a jail term as he had earlier spent 10 years in jail on the notorious Robben Island for his role in the armed struggle against the apartheid system.

The Union of European Football Associations -UEFA, which serves as The governing body of European football, has on Friday, July 9th, sanctioned the Hungarian national team following the “discriminatory behavior” of their fans during their Euro 2020 group stage matches against Portugal, France, and Germany.
Marca.com reports that one of the sanctions includes having to play their next three matches behind closed doors, however, the third match has been suspended for two years. It is worth knowing that the decision does not apply to European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, which takes place under FIFA's jurisdiction. So Hungary will not be left out of the race for the world cup because of this sanction.
The Hungarian Football Association was also handed a 100,00 euro fine and has been ordered as a must, to unveil a banner in their next three games with the hashtag "#EqualGame", alongside the UEFA logo.

But this is not good mostly for business people and who need to catch every customer or client that messages them and make that sale. That's why i'm offering this free class where i'll be teaching you how to Automate your WhatsApp and have time for other things

I'm offering this free class to only a limited number of people. Those interested should drop their numbers below to be added to the group. Thanks.

Test site is not opening. Always show ReactApp. Does that mean they have closed the test.

Its opening and test is still on.

Make sure you have good network preferably 4g.

Do it in the night or very early in the morning
