This needs to be in fp. These are serious points that needs to be looked into by the Govt. Visiting US is not just of visiting sake. The Governors he went with are not economic experts that will be able to put up good presentation! Maybe they thought, is just to go see Obama's face and visit the white house. Na Wah for our country leaders oh!!!

If this people are really Osun workers
1. How did they get transport fare from Osun to Ota
2. Wouldn't that transport fare be enough to feed for at least a week?
3. If they are so poor, how come they all look so well dressed and well fed?

This is pure propaganda, i am not in support of Aregbesola, but if a man of God must help Osun workers, let him help the real workers and not this unneccessary pubicity stunt.

Some people will just talk or type rubbish without thinking! There is winner chapel in almost every city in Nigeria. That could be just a winner chapel branch in a city in Osun. They dont need to go to Ota. It is not only in Ota you have Winner Chapel.

I am a Legal practitioner here in Nigeria and got a Creative Writing Fellowship position in the USA ,and they are to pay my airfare and I will be paid stipend during the months long program .I have a virgin passport and I don't have a big bank balance or statement.what are my chances ?? I intend to return back to Nigeria after the program because I must have gotten enough useful contact of fellow writers, publishers and some other people .pls House, what are my chances ,I am very sure of returning back to Nigeria and continue my legal practice.pls help

Just follow the steps the op listed. They hardly ask for your bank statement these days. you are been sponsored, so your bank statement will not be required. Just fill your form and ensure all details are correct and true. It is easy to fill out. honestly you do not need an agent to do that for you. The only thing agents do is to fill the form for you online nothing more. I wonder while educated people still have to depend on agents to fill the form. everything is done online. so why do people need to pay agent money to do that. I have done that severally for myself, and for my family from my home and have been granted visas. the questions are simple, your personal and family details and the person sponsoring and their address, where u will stay in the US is that what someone will pay over 100k for to fill? pls take time and fill the form yourself, that way you will confident when answering questions based on the information you gave on the form. Good luck.

@od31; IPS is general old term used for iron pipe ;Iron Pipe Size" (ips) but I know the pipe you are talking about, it's manufactured by wichtech company, the pipe is also good for both conduit and surface system bcs it can withstand 0-25 bar pressure also technogreen has life span of 50yrs and above...so both are ok

Thanks a lot, so I guess there is not much difference in the prices abi? if there is, which is cheaper, so i can make decision on which to use in my next project. do you work around PH too?

I abhor rape be it heterosexual or homosexual but your comment begets reasoning. It's analogous to when Igbo Easterners puke when they see Yoruba people beating ewédù with brooms before eating.

I am Igbo and I eat ewédù to the core.

Dont judge what you dont have the slightest idea of.

What is this one saying? what idea do you want him to have about that act or being gay? for a man to be sexually attracted to another man is wrong, from every sense. Even animals knows that sex is between male and female. Gosh!!! it is very abnormal.

There is nothing wrong for being gay...but being a child molester is a different case... If this case is true, then he shouldn't get a bail for his evil act as he will leave this boy in a trauma embarassed

There is every wrong for being gay! it is a mental derailment. it is very wrong for humanity. Even animals do know that it is wrong, a male animal do not go after a male animal for sex. have u seen a male dog going after another male dog for sex. logically it is wrong, religiously it is wrong. so which ever what u look at it is wrong. homosexuality was considered a mental illness not until 1973.

if it was a normal thing, people will not hide their involvement. most gay people hide their involvement for a long time before they come out in the open. So there is everything wrong with it.

At my age, it's not expected I believe EVERYTHING. We're not talking of people running 10 km per day, but of a guy who looked as refreshing as possible after allegedly completing such an enormous task of completing a 778 km or so distance.

Abeg, I'm really happy to be lazy to believe!

I know u will pick on the "people running 10kms " i only mentioned that to stress that there are people who are fit, who exercise everyday so they are physically fit to take up such task. For someone who does such execise every morning for quite a long time will have no problem taking such task of trekking continuously for 3 wks (12 to 14 hrs a day). You dont have to believe. in days of Old, when there are little or no cars people travel from one place to the other by trekking no matter the distance.

Please, stop being emotional; that feat is difficult to believe, given the time frame.

I never believed it from the onset.

what time frame? it is very very possible there are people who can do it in less number of days. There are people who wake up every morning to run 10 kms as execise before they begin the day. so why is walking 40km at day a problem. The villagers trekker more that 20 kms to and from to the farm land and every carry loads on their head. You people are just to lazy to believe.

Let us tink of it critically, who is watching him wen he was trecking? lagos to Abuja trecking is pure and applied lie,the guy dont hv work? if some one treck for 12hrs sef he will sleep throughout the second day,it impossible jor

I dont know why people just criticize without checking facts. the average trekking speed of a man is 5km a hr, ok lets say the man's trekking 3 km a hour and he trekks for 14 hrs a day, that will mean 42km a day. so like someone has said mathematics dont lie, do the maths now. that means it will not take him 20 days to get to Abuja. So HE TREKKED AND HE HAS MADE HISTORY, So stop hating and get the man what he deserves, respect! bcus all those hatting here can not trek 5km in one month!!!

Story for the gods.....
There are at least three other similar telecom firms in Nigeria that will simply expand it's services & scope of operations and assimiliate such workforce effortlessly, or worse still, nationalise that damn offshoot company of hating barbarians called Zulus.
Just waiting for the first move to join the vandalism, after all we did not start it.

you just said what is in my mind. That threat or blackmail does not hold water at all. What nonsense. How can he say that it will affect nigerians more. The can not afford to close down MTN in nigeria, their customer base alone in Nigeria is so huge that the MTN worldwide will be affected if they lose Nigeria. Their loss will far greater that the nigerians that will be laid off. if all MTN customer migrate to other network, that means other networks will expand their customer support, their facilities will need more workforce and then they will make more money. their support base that has 500,000 workforce will equally shift to the other network that now has the former MTN customers. so his blackmail does not work he should look for something else to say.

I just got a job in a growing indian telecommunication company in VI as a Graduate Trainee Network Engineer. I am a 2-1 graduate of Elect/elect and the only experience I have is computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

It all started after the submission of my application and I was called for an interview.

The indian interviewer made me realise that it's graduate trainee level I can be for now since I don't have a Networking Experience and that I will be on probation for 6months before appraisal and subsequent upgrade to a full staff and the monthly salary is 50k .

The story changed when I was called to the office for further briefing the following week about the offer when another Indian guy interviewed me and told me that the actual salary for trainee is 40k and asked me when I would loved to resume?

My main problem is I'm staying far and my t-fare to and fro is 16k/month.

Please guys help me review the offer. Is it worth it? God bless you as you do.

You obviously need the experience to be able to get a well paying Job. Please I will advice you take the job and get some experience. Dont look at the money yet, just look at the necessary experience you will acquire for now.
For sure, it will not take too long to acquired the necessary experience that will put up for a Good and well paying job. Am speaking from experience.
