Politics / Re: Nigerians Are Battered Souls & Broken Spirits - Professor Ayittey by okcyggen: 4:02pm On Jun 28, 2012
Even if Prof Ayittey was paid by whomever to speak the obvious truth, the fact remains that it takes a lot of risk n finance (maybe) to say the truth against a clueless but violent government, and to the benefit of a failed state. Now I give him loads of credit for that cos none other (within and without the present administration circus) has been able to stand up tall, look him in the face, call him by his full name (GEJ) and say "GEJ u are a joke". That act is synonymous to suicide going by the history of freedom of speech (negative critique) against a president in this country. Kudos Prof and spread the news beyond boundaries...!!!!
Politics / Re: NIMASA Building At Apapa On Fire? by okcyggen: 1:53pm On Jun 27, 2012
I guess some official dough has illegally exchanged hands and the financial documented reports with which to nail the culprits needs to be extincted; hence the employment of the blazing and destructive powers of fire.

As for the NIMASA Aptitude test of Saturday (Law School Lagos centre), I reserve my comments for the time being.
Education / Re: Insecurity: Jigawa, Rivers, Bayelsa Evacuate Students From ABU by okcyggen: 6:42pm On Jun 25, 2012
Not taking sides yet, but could someone confirm to us the sincere "physical" location of the VC during the heat of the crisis in Kaduna last week? We might be suprised he was secluded somewhere behind the rocks in Abuja. Well, more critiques to follow when his own location then is confirmed.

Individually speaking, if I were the governor, I'll evacuate even at rumour-stage before the dawn of crises cos with the present situation of things in the North, its only oneself and whomever or whatever he believes in that could "guarantee" ur safety. Hightime we stopped fooling ourselves.

Food for thought: How many calls were you able to put through to the president during the live media chat yesterday? Nigeria experienced the worst network peculiar to connecting those landlines yesterday. Who dey fool who? "Their smiling and sweet talking cannot fool us no more" (Lucky Dube)
Crime / Re: Woman Inserts 66 Wraps Of Narcotics In Private Part by okcyggen: 6:15pm On Jun 24, 2012
View this woman (@ dis stage n pattern of trade) as a conventional stryt y-boi trynn to make ends meet in a hard-knock-life society. Nevertheless, dats no justification for act. Most importantly, we'd appreciate more if the face(s) of her boss/cabal(s) be put on here boldly like her's after investigations.

Enuf of deze "poor man wey thief maggi dem go show him face for crime fighters; rich man wey thief money omor we no de see dem face for crime fighters...." (refer to African China "Lead us Well".

Education / Re: Abuloma Girls College: Students Hospitalised After Bloody Clash by okcyggen: 1:17pm On Jun 22, 2012
Wow...if it were to be a boys or mixed school, I would av said its a recurrent trend in our boarding secondary schools (refer to FGC Okigwe 1997-1999 final WAEC general paper day and 2000 final NECO paper day), wasn't a funny xperience btw d graduants (SS3's) n d takeovers (SS2's). But for a full-blown girl's college, mehn I'm short of words. Nevertheless, in our present times quest for practical civilisation, it is suggested that adequate security measures be put in place to monitor such acts of savage.

Faith keeping since 1960.

.

Well, its been no physical assaults but verbal critique by d democratic citizens of Nigeria. For the rest of your comment, you've got my 200% seconding. I can't hold back this earnest desire; "Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria" so we could all witness it coming down (the practical supremacy of the Rule of Law) soon....yes...very soon. Let's keep the faith!!!
Politics / Re: Farouk Lawan Sneaked Out Of The Police Headquarters by okcyggen: 3:31pm On Jun 20, 2012
Yer...itz not far-fetched from our stereotyped predictions on this issue. Don't forget its "SAME PEOPLE; SAME GAME", but let's watch d movie unfold. One thing is certain and I have this strong convinction that "ITS ALL COMING TO AN END"....I neither know the "how" nor the "when", but till then "Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria" so we all could witness it happening live in the entity "Nigeria"; I mean...the practical supremacy of the Rule of Law...yer its very near, so so near..!!!
