A lagos driver called 'Oga Okey' has been reportedly found dead in his room on the 6/7/2018.

According to the whatsapp conversation 'Oga Okey' was driver, that died of drinking and smoking all alone in his room and there is no family memeber that came to claim him so instead he was thrown in the lagos lagoon as directed by the government.

An APC Mega rally held in Owerri, Imo state earlier today, and the Governor, Rochas Okorocha said the Igbos who never believed in President Buhari when he was campaigning for president in 2015, have declared to support him in 2019. President Buhari will be seeking re-election in 2019.

Speaking at the rally, Okorocha said ;

”Igbos never believed in Buhari in 2015 but 2019 Igbos have declared for Buhari,”.

A serial child molester, Mr Ifeanyi Akpa, a male and indigene of Onicha Igbeze of Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, who resides in Osubi Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, was arrested today and handed to the police by Osubi community for the severe beating of his nephew, Chigozie Ogbu, 13 years old, who is living with him.

Comrade Friday Okpako, Osubi youth president, who alerted Orerokpe police, said there were several report by neighbours of severe maltreatment and corp0ral punishment melted on the boy daily, by Mr Akpa and his wife Mrs Ngozi Akpa, who has four (4 ) children from the marriage.

According to an eye witness, “Chigozie does all the domestic work in the house, sells pure water during the day and yet they won’t allow the poor boy to have his peace”. He added that the boy has rounded up his primary education yet they refused to enroll him for secondary school. He also said the boy is very intelligent.

The Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, who is also the community leader, who was on his way from Sunday service, met the situation and immediately directed that the boy should be taken to the hospital for proper treatment from the serious injuries inflicted on him.

When he was asked to stand he could not, because of the excruciating pains from his swollen back.



Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori also directed Sheriff Oborevwori Foundation Scholarship/Bursary Committee Chairman, Chief Mrs E. E. Onokpasa, to award scholarship to Chigozie to University level to enable him continue his education.

He said the Scholarship will run till the end of his university studies. He also promised to ensure the well-being of the child.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dropped the ‘Change’ slogan and adopted ‘Progress’ as its new slogan.

Vanguard reports that the party made this change at its convention on Sunday, June 24.

One of the masters of ceremonies at the convention reportedly announced that delegates should no longer chorus ‘change’ anytime the name of the party is chanted.

He said: “I want to announce that when shout APC, the appropriate response should now be Progress and not Change”

Articles 4 of the APC Constitution as amended lists ‘Change’ as the slogan of the party and it has not been amended yet.

Meanwhile, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Bola Tinubu has reportedly accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of plotting to loot the country’s treasury for 60 years.

The Punch reports that the former Lagos state governor’s allegation was contained in a goodwill message released on Saturday, June 23 after the party’s convention.

Tinubu said many people were against the formation of the APC and did all they could to stop the merger.

He alleged that the doubters forged different tactics to prevent the APC’s formation

The Lagos State Police on Monday obstructed a planned kidnap of a Deputy Comptroller of Customs, her brother, and her son.

According to the police, the suspected kidnappers had reached out to Yisa Theophilus, the brother of the deputy comptroller, under the pretense of a land deal.

The suspected kidnapper was identified as Yomi Odudare, who is allegedly known as a “notorious criminal.”

Odudare confessed to the police that he had planned with Olugbenga Kehinde Ojo, a former driver to the Deputy Comptroller’s uncle, to kidnap her, her brother, and her son.

Lagos Police through detectives attached to Area-D-Command, Mushin on Saturday foiled an attempt to kidnap a Deputy Comptroller of Customs, her younger brother and her son.

Acting on the directives of the CP Imohimi Edgal, the Area D Commander assembled a decoy team, which played along with a caller who had been calling Barrister Yisa Theophilus, the younger brother of the female officer.

A quick check by police on the caller’s identity revealed that he had a sinister motive. It was also discovered that aside being a notorious criminal in the area, the caller, later discovered to be one Yomi Odudare, was into land selling business (omonile). Police played along.

On the agreed date for the land deal, detectives went along with the younger brother of the female officer, Barrister Yisa Theophilus, whom he had been calling frequently. They met the suspect at a project site in Ajah, Lagos, called Fara-Park and he was promptly arrested.

The suspect confessed that he has never met the lawyer nor any member of his family. He said that the idea to kidnap Bar Yisa, his sister and her son came from one Olugbenga Kehinde Ojo, a former Driver to the Deputy Comptroller’s uncle.

He added that the idea was to kidnap the lawyer and force him to lure out his sister, who is a Deputy Comptroller of Customs. The suspect called Olugbenga Kehinde Ojo to inform him that he had successfully kidnapped the lawyer. He rushed to the scene, where he was arrested.

The suspects took the police to a shanty, surrounded by water, in Eleko, along Lekki/Epe Expressway, Lagos, which they prepared as a hostage ground for their would be victims.

Mr Edgal advised Lagosians to be wary of people who call them out for lucrative business deals as it might turn out to be a ploy to kidnap or harm them. He added that the Command would remain proactive in the fight against crime in the state.

Ghana and Nigeria are the two countries with the highest search interest in Misoprostol, an abortion pill, the BBC reports.

According to the BBC, data of countries who search for abortion pills the most, was sourced from Google.

Google data shows how often exact phrases are searched about a topic.

“Abortion pills” is a top search phrase on abortion in all the countries analysed by the BBC.

“How to abort” is the most commonly asked question in more than two-thirds of countries.

“How to use Misoprostol”, “Misoprostol price”, “buy Misoprostol” and “Misoprostol dosage” are among the most common searches around abortion.

Of the 25 countries with highest search interest in Misoprostol, 11 are in Africa and 14 in are in Latin America.

All but two of the countries–Zambia and Mozambique, either ban abortions altogether or permit them only to save a woman’s life or health.
Countries with stricter abortion laws do the most

The BBC findings also suggest that countries with stricter abortion laws have greater search interest in abortion pills.

By buying pills online and sharing medical advice through WhatsApp groups, women are increasingly turning to technology to sidestep legal barriers to abortion.

Whatsapp groups on abortion pills have become the modern face of the so-called “DIY abortion”, the BBC writes.

Countries with the strictest laws, where abortion is allowed only to save a woman’s life or banned altogether, have over 10 times higher search interest in abortion pill Misoprostol compared to countries with no restrictions, BBC analysis shows.

Abortion is legal in Ghana only in cases of rape, incest, foetal impairment or to preserve a woman’s mental health.

Nigeria’s abortion laws are stricter. Abortion is only allowed in Nigeria in situations where a woman’s life is in danger.

Abortion is induced medically or surgically.
‘Least safe’

The BBC reports that about 14 percent of all abortions were “least safe”, which means they were provided by untrained persons using dangerous methods, such as the introduction of foreign objects and use of herbal concoctions.

When an abortion is incomplete, medical professionals may either advise further medication, or a surgical option, depending on the situation.

At least 22,800 women die each year from complications of unsafe abortion, the Guttmacher Institute reports.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Sunday declared that he was willing to honour the invitation of the police, once he formally receives it.

Mr Saraki also denied that he has any links to any of the robbery suspects arrested for their roles in the Offa bank robbery which caused the death of about 33 people including police officers.

Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki’s looming arrest by the Nigerian police force.

Saraki was recently invited by the Nigerian police for questioning over his alleged ties to an armed robbery gang responsible for robbing banks in Offa, Kwara state earlier this year.

What does fatherhood mean to you?

Fatherhood is bringing forth a child, nursing and nurturing that child. It also means doing all you have to do to place the child on a proper footing in life and that starts from when the child comes into the world till the child is of age.

When did you first become a father?

It was about 13 years ago.

Were you in the labour room with your wife?
I was there. I witnessed the arrival of my child and I even had it recorded.
How did you feel to see your wife give birth?



It was a mixed feeling. I felt like she went through a lot bringing the baby forth. I saw all the pain she had to go through and even when the doctor asked me to step out, I insisted on staying there. I even burst into tears eventually because the experience was heavy. Afterwards, it was all joy when the baby arrived.

How did you prepare for fatherhood?

There was not really any preparation. I watched my wife go through pregnancy and the most important thing was to make sure that my wife was well taken care of because she was the one who was really dealing with the baby as she was the one connecting with the baby at such an early age. In attending to one’s wife, one is attending to the child as well.

Chocolate City singer, Damilola Alesh, aka Dice Ailes who became popular when he released his Otedola song has bought a house and car. When the news broke this week, there were mixed reactions with many saying he must have acquired them through illegal means but Dice says he got them from his proceeds from music.



Speaking with Sunday Scoop however, he says, “As illegal as it may seem, it’s simply hard work and God that gave me the house and a new car. My prayers have always been for God to bless me in ways that would confuse and shock people. It’s evident that God is real and prayers work. I do just music and God has blessed me.

“Since I came to the limelight, I never looked back. I have learnt that anything is achievable if you put your mind to it and there is no excuse for failure.”

Speaking on how his parents reacted to news of his latest achievement, Dice Ailes said, “My parents know my struggles as opposed to the fans on social media. They see the process; in fact, they are a part of it. All I do is try to make them proud. I’m thankful to God for all my achievements thus far. Life is generally hard and success isn’t an easy road. But I’ve been able to attain some of the goals I set for myself, which include improving the quality of my life and the people around me. I’m grateful for this.
