Driver of one of the commuter buses of late NURTW boss, Omolafe Aderiye was shot dead by unknown gunmen few minutes ago and the road has been BLOCKED by angry members of the Drivers Union.

Kindly use alternative routes until the situation is brought under control by security agents.

there's no point in refering the story to someone else when the 'victim' here is my blood.

Many people are celebrating xmas, but my bro and i are in state of dilema cuz of what his girlfriend told him. In order to make you understand my point, i'd refer the story to myself as the 'victim'

Disclaimer: Any 'typo' in this message is as a result of my state of anxiety.


Last month, i had an unprotected s*xual intercourse with my girlfriend. And the following week, she started her menstruation for that month. Although i didnt release in her at all, i was so careful that i adopted the 'withdrawal' method. When she told me she was seeing her period, my heart was filled with joy as i wasn't in any way ready to be a father (i know most of y'all would use that against me). Fast forward to this week, she told me she has been feeling somehow. From being lazy to body weakness. Considering the nature of her work, i think it's normal for her to be weak. Now she concluded, in respect to doctor's report, that she's some weeks pregnant. OMG!! She swore she slept with only me! Jeeez. I have not been myself since i heard this hilarious heartbreaking destiny changing news.

Well, i came here not to invite you for the naming ceremony or to request for fund. But i'm here to know from experts and those who are married and have experienced this, is it possible to be pregnant after menstruation? (i think u get my point). Sex > menstruation > pregnancy. Does this equation work? Pls help

Being a fresh graduate, i know I'm getting closer to the real world and also about to enter what is regarded as the 'Nigeria Labour Market'. I've been on Nairaland for over a year now and i have read so many articles and write-ups about interviews and employments. So also, i have read so many posts on interviews' disappointments by males and females (mostly males though). Also in my quest to satisfy my curiosity, i came across many posts by fortunate nairalanders (i don't mean the ones without jobs are unfortunate) who had successful passed their interviews and had been offered jobs with reasonable 'take home' pays.

Now, i wish to know if, apart from experience and qualifications, the look or the gender of the involved interviewee is greatly considered also before a job can be given? What i mean by the 'look' is how pretty the lady is or how tall and handsome the guy is. Or it doesn't matter at all?




No be say i fine sha, i won know if my look get chance too ni just kidding anyway.


My question is directed to employers and employees who must have passed through one or two interview sessions. And also to those who are still in the process of 'job hunting'.

This verses are a proof that your religion indeeds supports violence and killings and it defies your claim that killing should only be done in self defense.

Only a sadist or a mentally retarded_ person would see all this and still continue to practice such religion.

though am not a religion fanatic, but i can tell you that there are verses in the bible where killing is supported. Except u aint a bible reader. E.g

Islam is for peace and not for war. A true Jihadist doesn't kill unnecessarily. My christian brothers and sisters, we love you all as one Nigerian. Peace is what we pray for. Bokoharam members might be majorly muslims, but Islam has got nothing to do with their acts, it's just their own evil personality. For the fact that we have kidnappers and millitants who are threatening lives and property in the south doesn't make christianity a religion of kidnappers.

What we need to do as true believers is to come together and pray for peace to raign in the country. Let's stop blamming the other religion for any evil act.
