I am not a lazy youth... not anymore cool
Been awake, read from page 1 till here, I deserve some accolades cool
Seldonmly Glanced through part 6 then but wasn't serious however in this part 7, I pledge to follow up back to back this time around, So help me God.

Let me quickly, go back to page 1 and assimilate very well however the gurus here should take it easy on newbies like us, I know we can be annoying some times, we will soon graduate to become an expert too... so bear with us.

Meanwhile, I would like to ask if;
1) either WES or ICEs accepts Neco or GCE results? How about combination of the two?

2) can one get or use sponsor(s) as POF? Or sponsor(s) to compliment?

3) work issues? The self employed or under employed dudes, I mean, working for a private firm that salaries sometimes can be transferred from Oga's or Madam's savings bank account to yours. Considering the fact that pay slip with tax deduction could be required. can oluwale be applied?

4) what's the rough cost estimation for the entire processes till one lands in Canada? Ielts, Medical, insurance, flight, minimum account balance etc... what range is one expected to atleast have in her possession? Make person no go dey stranded for middle, come spend the little we are managing ontop money way no dey.

If it's not feasible, let us just save the energy, relax here and strive to make nigeria work again.
N:B i'm awaiting my Msc final defense, what's your advise?

Who can volunteer to guide me through the nursery/basic stages? Quote me and indicate... Make i PM you.

Thanks guys

You visit their office... NHIS office in any Gov. Hospital can give you guidelines/directives

[quote author=Lilliesbud12 post=74708720]
It's true.. I did it and it's very good.. you register with NHIS... they fix you with a private HMO.. it comes out about 3wks after registering and they put a start date which is usually 2months from when it became approved.. so the whole process b4 you'll be able to use it is about 3months in total.. I did a myomectomy/CS with it, shoulder surgery, many hospital visits, etc.. it's about to expire in few days time..thinking of renewing it. I paid #15k. I can boldly say it's worth it.. at least from my own experience

But the baby freebies up till 3 months, that am not sure of oo

You are right
It worth doing

Sabi Mamas
Finally I registered for the HMO
Wonders shall never cease, I added extra cash to fast track the processing that initially supposed to take 2 months or thereabout to come out but finally, I will most likely have it tomorrow or next
This one na "Lagos-Ibadan expressway"
This country eh, ayam not understanding sha.

I guess we have plenty team August here
I am patiently waiting for the roll call biko

Please I just vomited for the first time since our 55 days journey, I now feel weak and restless
I feel like lying on my tummy coz it's doing me somehow somehow however DH cleaned the vomit and placed me on the bed properly and brought my phone close for me, what a caring man grin although he suggested maybe another baby is forming that's why I feel this way cheesy Taa bu Taa.

How many times am i supposed to run a scan before the full term? At what stages? I mean, at what weeks respectively?

Headache o, make I see weda the sleep go come while I wait for those way dey online cool

Please what's your take about registering at an private HMO under NHIS

Heard one would enjoy 90% discount on drugs and other hospital bills plus free scan & lab tests... last for a year even baby would enjoy d freebies up to 3 months after child birth

How true? When one registers, it takes about 2 months for the processes before it finally comes out
Cost about 17 - 18k

Congratulations & welcome Buddyspear & oluwaleokey to the one & only Team August, God bless you and make your mission easy peasy. Will add you guys for next roll call

@oluwaleokey, missyblissy has said it all, please register as soon as possible, what most mamas do is register in a general hospital and also in one private hospital (i intend to do this as well) just to cover all ends, GH will register you properly from 3 months/13weeks upwards, but most private can register you earlier and atleast you will have a Dr working with you just in case. The pulling you feel maybe ur uterus stretching and adjusting to its landlord.

Mama Giddyperson, you know we love you like kilode, when ayam not sunbestie, hunniesuzie & Adorablewifey that wants ur "nether regions" to catch fire, Ha!!!! shocked aye le ooo, ibosi oooo. kiss GPrince for me kiss

Gurlnext2u, no naa is nor twoble oo just helping her remember that's all

Tanchu mama
I almost thought nobody was going to answer my pelvic quest
Ehen! I can now relax and enjoy the pulling & stretching.

In addition: someone has forwarded the mail to me.
You know yourself
God bless you

You can calculate it using the date of your last menstrual period LMP. Use the app FLO OR BABY CENTER TO CALCULATE IT or Use this link https://www.calculator.net/due-date-calculator.html

As for the kpekus you can ask your doctor. He or she will ask questions like if you had previous miscarriage, or if there is discomfort during kpekus such as pain or blood etc. If yes, you should jejely abstain until he or she clears you for kpekus. Nne we need to be careful biko. Put baby first above all for now, make dh understand.

For me we had to abstain for months cos me sef fear dey catch me cos i started feeling pain in jayna whenever oga trys to enter as if i be virgin again. I wasn't dry ooo very wet and ready to do it!!! When he tried once and i bleed but the bleeding stopped after some minutes. I was told it implantation bleeding but after that incident kpekus was put on hold. Dh sef no gree oo i took him to antenatal na doc tell am say that place is sealed until we were cleared.

It is well!!!

Many thanks Nne
I hurriedly used the link
EDD is on the 21st of August while My Birthday is on the 15th of August... make we see what God has to say

I am informing hubby sharply, I experienced almost same as yours... implantation bleeding gini?
I have seen good n perfect reason to abstain fully... I know him go gree with fastforward coz anything for babies...house chores inclusive

Thank you sabi Mamas way replied me, I couldn't find where to quote the replies, I guess the page has disappeared from the reply interface (all i know, I follow for computer savy gurus)

Please as a FTM, I heed to the advise to register as soon as I can.
How the I calculate my EDD accurately? Saw my period last on the 15th of Nov.... it's about 55 days today?

Please sabi mamas, the kpekus ministry should resume when exactly? It irritates me these days, I think since the 55 days journey, we've had just twice but hubby kept suggesting that Dr. Google encourages it often to help the ministry flow smoothly & freely...how true biko? (Both of us na novice)

I usually feel this sensation on my right pelvic, as if it's drawing, dragging kind of (pardin the English biko)
I want to believe this is normal?

I also need the book and any other book that I must have missed out coz I just joined the thread newly.
Kindly forward to elijah.okenwa@gmail.com

Congratulations mama and welcome. Please add folic acid to the pregnacare and take it maybe 4 times in aweek as the folic acid in pregnacare is not enough. Recommended dosage is 400 mcg pregnacare has 400 ug

Thank you mama
You mean taking the folic acid 4 times in a week? Or do you mean the pregnancare tablet alongside folic acid 4 times in a week?

Great Mamas
Feels great to be here
I am new here, thread quite voluminous to go through but had to scan through a lil bit. I found the thread very educating that I can't hold myself from identifying & participating

This is actually my first Pregg...
About 7 weeks into the journey
As per me and hubby, we are both novice in this game infact we had to made Google our closest pals...
I am also Team August smiley

I have been on pregncare max from day one I discovered I was pregnant. No other drugs
Please I hope this is safe enough

I intend to register for antenatal before the week runs out although some person's told me to wait till 4-5 months old... just thinking (part of the reasons why I want to learn from great mamas)

They grant admission to anybody who meet the requirements and have the fee..... nearly 70% of the students here are not local from what I’ve observed. They mostly Indians, Asian and some few others.
You’re allowed to work upto 20 hrs/ week legally while u study.
Also you’re eligible for about 3 years post study work visa.
Buts the price could range from between NGN 4.5-6 million per Annum . That’s around 20,000-30,000 NZD for international students

If I hear... that's a whole lot of money
I mean, 4.5 - 6 million per annum
That means hustle no go pay there.... Even with 20hours to work weekly

My brother, isn't there any scholarship package? 50% scholarship or sth... then you can be able to work your way through... I cant rely on home while abroad for sustainability (pardon my grammar)

What's the average pay per hour for students work
Can you recommend any sch?

Thanks for your kind advice/guidelines
