Also very true
abike12:

That's why I said I've always felt ... that's my opinion after living here for almost 20 years both in small towns and big cities. the average american isn't motivated by money to move from their small comfortable hometown. places like nyc and san francisco are obviously exceptions but in chicago you would likely run into more people native to that area than transplants

Good point here, the higher the minimum wage the page pay job one can get , at least that what i think, Plus i think chicago is actually nice
Beautyaddy:

Huh...Are you sure about that?

I was under the belief that most Americans live in the cities because of the availability of more jobs and higher wages.
Travel / Re: Nigerians In USA , What Do You Miss The Most About The Motherland by oluwarichie(m): 2:37am On May 29, 2019
i understand perfectly and i agree 100%, i'm in chicago and i tell not one reasonable church so i just stuck with attending my daystar online service.
otipoju:

True that.

Ive attended at least 4 Nigerian Churches in 3 different cities for at least a month...the story is the same.

Salacious gossip, backbiting, showboating and stuff that add no value to my spiritual well being.

You wanna be in church and feel that you are growing in spirit and learning new and deeper truths.

The last one i attended for about 2 and half years, if i was a babe in spiritual matters, i would never step foot in a church again..

So i miss my parish in lagos a lot.

was in this same mess, was born in London too, Unlike the U.S, UK robbed so many of the right to file/fight for citizenship by birth. Although i here you can put up a case if only the said person is present in the UK which they say takes forever. You can visit the UK consulate in walter carrignton for more info tho.

Hi Guys, So i have been search NL for a trend to help me in narrowing my option on the next step to take (career wise) living in the U.S and i discovered we don't have a topic like that here and permanent resident/legal immigrant that would need information(s) regarding this subject.

In my case i'm sought of lost in my head in choosing what do to, the few people i have spoken to, as typical Nigerians say "Go and do Nursing".

Although i have someone whose told me about picking up and I.T career and it sounds interesting. The dilemma is where do i start from?

Anyone with information, guides and contributions...WELCOME

P.S: Please Admins/Moderators leave this topic in Travels. Gracias

Hello everyone, please how can one regular status in america? It is only getting married to citizen the only viable option just want to clear my curiousity? And if so, how possible can one get a nice Nigeria Lady that could be a good wife? Also, suppose one is in relationship before coming in here as a student what is one best decision to make, I mean to go ahead and marry his fiancé or stop the relationship since returning back to 9ja is never an option. A friend is in a serious confusion and dilemma. Thanks for kind advise

Brodaly, Firstly marrying here isn't the only option for getting your paper.Majority have just chosen that option because they see it as easy way out, but this days it doesn't come cheap. Plus i think it has the longest process (just saying). Secondly the relationship thing is gonna be hard aswear2gard
