I also bought the S4 when immediately it came out.

But then funny thing was the Exynos Version I got had better Camera performance than my friend's T-Mobile SD Version.

Only downside was the absence of 4G. Though the SD Version for some strange reasons had a worse battery life except for the play edition with Stock Android.
You're correct. I bought the s4 too and mine was the sd version, every other stuff was good except battery life which I hated to so much that I had to swap it for one Gionee phone like that.

Samsung na no 1 in the doing from day 1, in they will sell phone with Snapdragon variant to the UK and US and send exynos here. Go and check UK used Samsung and the exynos here, aswear if you sabi check phone, you will see quality difference.

Wetin dey pain me pass be say, the exynos here is more expensive.
This phone manufacturers understand our tech market and they will always give us what we want and we go dey chop am like that
I remember when galaxy note 1 first came out na so I rush go buy thinking say na snapdragon variant. Omo na shitty exynos dey inside, the phone give me PTSD. Overheating, battery drain, random rebooting etc. Omo since then I no use Samsung phones till my aunty in the us send galaxy s5 give her mama, Omo see phone, Rock solid performance with average battery life, na then I realise say this bastards phone manufacturers dey finish Africans with shitty products.

Samsung don't do this, this seems to be a Chinese thing. Someone created a thread some few months back on how he bought a watered down Oppo phone thinking he was getting something much better. The funny thing is that they went as far as reviewing the real thing but sent something else down here, this is almost same tactics with the Redmi note 12. In fact the whole naming confusion of the note 12 series is deliberate.
Samsung dey do o, the galaxy a14 for eu and Indian market packs the rock solid Helio g80 processor while the one sent here packs the shitty exynos. Chinese phone manufacturers dun see us finish!

If only they didn't treat Nigerians the way they did by selling a very watered down version of the Redmi note 12 instead of the one with snapdragon 4 Gen 1. They should stop such sharp practices if they really want to remain relevant. One cannot even recommend the note 12 for a note 9s user.
The entire phone industry except apple de look down on Africa, Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo and Samsung usually send superior variants of their latest device to Eu and other dope markets while they send the watered down variants to Africa, what's even funny is either they think we're less tech savy or too poor to afford the more expensive variants. Same Africa wey dey buy the latest iphone and ipads and even MacBooks like it's nothing.

I've used redmi 7 and redmi 3 and I'd have to say that redmi note 12 is by far the worst phone I've ever used.
Apart from the physical design, it fails in almost every other metric.
The one wey dey pain me pass be say apps in the background will close in less than five minutes. Even when I was using 1gb ram Tecno, I never experienced such
I hear say the the 6gig ram variant solid.

See that idea of bringing only Mediatek phones to Nigeria, they should perish it

Long Term user, but NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER BUY A MEDIATEK Phone from them, no matter how much hype or performance they claim.
Share your insight, what's wrong with mediatek powered phones?

yeah! This is what made me to gently back down from Xiaomi products from now! Aldo I'm still using my REDMI note 10 pro with Samsung galaxy!
And I most say! Before I use to watch naija reviewer on YouTube but they have all been compromised (especially Valor and the rest) by Xiaomi because of money!

If you are watching reviews on products, I advise you stay away from naija reviewers undecided
Izzy na solid guy, as for valor that one na sell out.

how can someone get a new redmi note 12 4g on easy buy?
how much will be the total of all the expense i:e actual amount of the phone and the interest bundled together?
I bought Tecno spark 7 last year via easy buy, my down payment was 30k but after every every I spent over 70k for ordinary 57k phone, do the math.

I'm tired of trying to educate people about that brand. I've been doing it for the last 4 years and they keep refusing to learn. So I don leave them.

Anyone that buys Helio G85 for 177k deserves it.
Lol, same thing here. My colleague dropped her phone inside oil, she came around today asking if any of the Samsung A series or Infinix is a good buy but I tutored her on how useless and deceitful Infinix phones are but I won't be surprised if she comes around tomorrow flaunting her 6.7inches Infinix phone with 720p display plus Helio G37 chipset all for 150k.

I budget 100k to buy new phone by the end of this month but after checking phone prices on jumia and physical stores I weak like over ripped dodo. Even the so called budget devices are over priced, imagine spark 10 pro with Helio g88 processor selling for over 130k, even the newly released Redmi note 12 4g is over 130k for the base version I know say the price go double before the year ends. Android phones are becoming too expensive for my liking, if only they offer the same superior hardware and consistent software experience like apple e for make sense.
