Times without number it has been said that you should marry the one you love. Is marriage all about love, romantic feelings and emotions, rather than qualities and personality of the individual? |

As a born again christian, is it appropriate or biblical to use words such as "I swear" and "wallahi" when conversing with somebody and does it implies to swearing in the name of God? Also, is it biblical to use words like "Olorun" (God) or "Olorun n gbo" (God hears) just to emphasise your points or to prove to someone that you are speaking the truth? |

A French porn actress has revealed her horror at receiving explicit messages from children as young as 12. Nikita Bellucci, 28, from France, took to Twitter to share some of the shocking messages that had landed in her inbox, pointing the blame at parents for a ‘complete lack of teaching’ when it comes to sexual education. She told her 160,000 followers she was ‘tired of educating kids about sex’, and that parents are not putting in enough preventative measures to keep their children away from internet pornography. Nikita’s tweet, which has since been liked 14,000 times, has gathered momentum with many praising the actress for talking about sex workers bearing the brunt over the lack of interest showed by parents in their children’s internet safety. She shared separate messages from different youngsters, which show four boys all asking her for sex and stating their ages. One of the shocking messages, which has been translated to English, said: ‘Hi, I am going on 13 years old and I am a fan of you. Would you f*** me nude please.’ As well as sharing the message, she went one step further and shared her reply that read: ‘Dude, 13 years. Reflect on your actions, do your homework and don’t contact me again, if not I’ll send [the screen grab] to your parents.’ Another child messaged Nikita and asked if she could like to have sex with a ’12-year-old hottie’. Feeling that enough was enough, she decided to take action and share her experience online. Source: https://www.nationalhelm.co/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/titul1.jpg

The Non-Academic Unions of the University of Ibadan on Monday directed its members to proceed on an indefinite strike to protest illegal deductions of pensions and shortfall in the payment of salaries by the University’s management and the Federal Government respectively The Non-Academic Unions of the University of Ibadan on Monday directed its members to proceed on an indefinite strike to protest illegal deductions of pensions and shortfall in the payment of salaries by the University’s management and the Federal Government respectively. The decision to proceed on the strike was finally reached on Monday at a joint congress of the three non-academic unions where the position of the University management to attend to the demands were rejected. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Idowu Olayinka had written to the unions stating his resolve to improve on staff welfare adding that his administration had nothing to hide. But the joint congress which started after 8 o’clock in the morning rejected the plea by the University Management to grant the university some time to address all the issues while others will be channeled to the Governing Council scheduled to meet this Wednesday. The congress was presided over by the leadership of non-academic staff union (Wale Akinremi (SSANU), Caleb Falaye (NAAT) and O.A. Arojo (NASU). The Joint Action Congress of Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU), Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) and National Association of Academic Technicians (NAAT) on campus had given the management till 10th March, 2017 to address the issues or face indefinite strike action. Their demands included non-payment of promotion arrears, illegal pension deductions, constitution of independent and credible staff audit exercise and investigation into the internally generated revenue and its mode of expenditure. Immediately after leaving the congress, the non-academic staff proceeded to their offices to pick their baggage and put their offices other under lock and key. Meanwhile the Academic Staff of the University were yet to commence their strike. The Chairman of ASUU, UI Branch, Dr. Deji Omole in a message urged members to endure the hardship saying that the position of the congress to proceed on warning strike was still being processed by the national headquarters of the union. http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/education/non-academic-staff-of-ui-begin-strike/189033.html |

The French Government has stated that there is no future for Biafra. It said there is no support for those agitating for the secession of any part of Nigeria. France Ambassador to Nigeria, Denys Gauer told the Guardian, that his home country would not in anyway work with any group agitating for the division of the nation. He said France was working with Nigeria and supporting it as a country. He said, “We are working with Nigeria and we are supporting it as the only country. “This is absolutely clear and I don’t think there is any kind of future for Biafra. They are part of Nigeria and Nigeria has to remain as the only country.” According to Gauer, France was working with the country in its fight against insurgency, adding that the fight against insurgency had brought Nigeria and France together, more than before. “I can confirm to you that we are now very close allies to the Nigerian Armed Forces in the fight against Boko Haram. “We have no restrictions on that, we can sell any kind of equipment to the Nigerian government without any restrictions”, he added. |

The South-South Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Archbishop Goddowell Avwomakpa today denied media reports credited to him that former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori is Jesus Christ. The cleric debunked the report at the burial ceremony of the 77-year-old community leader, Pa. Sandys Omadeli-Uvwoh held at the First Baptist Church, Oginibo in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State. Archishop Avwomakpa frowned at the report which trended on the social media, saying it was different from what he said when was called to deliver a sermon at the thanksgiving service marking Ibori’s return from London recently. ” Even if I was mad and sick, I wouldn’t say Ibori is Jesus Christ. Those who reported it, go and reverse it or the curse of God remain on your head,” he warned. Archbishop Avwomakpa stated that Pa. Sandys Omadeli-Uvwoh was probably killed because by the masterminds because they are jealous of him. The Archbishop lamented the death of his uncle as he rained curses on his killers. ” Those who kill sandys will produce leprous people. They will walk on bent limbs.” ” Pa. Sandys Omadeli-Uvwoh died in the hands of his enemies. “This man was in his own house. You gassed him. Before they could rush him to the hospital, he was dead. You think you will live.” The founder and General Overseer of Christ Missionaries Crusaders also stated that Pa. Uvwoh died because of his outspoken nature. Archbishop Avwomakpa opined that the late Pa. Uvwoh would have lived up to eighty years but his enemies forced him to an early grave. He said,” every sin that this man committed while on earth is hereby shifted. The people are still on planet earth. If that is true, then what we say will come to pass”. Archbishop Avwomakpa stated that the Urhobo and Itsekiri Ethnic Nationalitirs where Pa. Uvwoh hailed from have lost a man whom he christened as “truthful, outspoken”, ” fearless” and very important person to the people of Oginibo Community, his paternal home. “Anybody who takes the blood of another person, that person shall suffer. Watch out. The police may not even get the person but just watch out,” he added. Present at the event were Chief Ayirimi Emami, Chief Fred Ogbe, Dr. Alex Ideh, Pa. Godwin Izeze, Hon. Reuben Izeze, Chief Abraham Oboiyovwiri and others. http://dailypost.ng/2017/03/10/didnt-say-ibori-jesus-christ-archbishop-avwomakpa/?utm_source=DailyPost+Newsletter&utm_campaign=7000d81732-Morning_headlines&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_7c25dc3ce6-7000d81732-227462957 |
