After the moniker Elegantspiker commented that I should mail him when he asked the skills I got and I mentioned web design, I actually mailed him.

Much talk went down and finally and proudly, I am announcing that I am into business again. He sent down payment for my first exhibition project, which is to create a website, which will ascertain and/or culminate to other life changing prospects, may be even in perpetuity, that shall be underway.

May God grant you the knowledge and wisdom to grow the fortune you aspire sir. May God keep you safe in the country you reside currently and also clear the air whenever you are flying back to Nigeria.

Thank you sir.

Charlie, na the man dey hustle and the wife dey use food do giveaway. The man has right to change it for you cos life ain't easy but I would like to ask you;
1. How many times have you gone to the man's shop to help out?
2. How many times have you helped out in their house as well?

If you help them with their problems too then good for you, but if you only turn up when you are hungry then sorry for you.
1. The man knows my story well. The wife told him about me a lot. Because before she married, I helped her a lot too because she is from a poor background. To even feed was her problem and she was not the after any guy. We were close because we were course mates and I and only I first understood her situation and took charge; mind you, not to take advantage.

2. She has her own shop too but a sales girl was there because she is still nursing the second child, as such doesn't stay much in the shop. Of course the shop is next block to her home.

3. I don't go there often as I mentioned. When I do, it is for a purpose. But if I go, and it's for NO STATED reason, she understands, which I hardly even do. That's when worse comes to worse.

She is married with 2 kids and the husband knows me well cos I visit now and then but not often.

I must confess, this lady has helped me a lot and I owe her in my mind greatly to repay the kindness to her children in one way or the other in future when the going gets going.

So, today I visited her because yesterday I did 0-0-0. Today, Thursday, I was already on another 0-0-... then decided to touch her side to at least make it 0-0-1. This was around 3:20pm.

Whenever I visit for no particular purpose, she knows I am broke, so she serves me food and sometimes, when I am leaving, she gets raw food for me to take home because I live alone on my own.

We gisted a lot in the sitting room. Suddenly, she began preparing food (My joy was immeasurable within) so I amplified the gist mode.

Food was done at last. By this time, her husband returned from his shop (He usually leave before his 'shop boy' who is his village relative staying with him).

My female friend then dished the swallow on a single plate and brought it on the table where I was sitting with her husband. All this while, the man was busy pressing his phone since arriving.

She meant we (me and the husband) should share the food based on the quantity as it was much. To God, this man as if he was provoked.

Oga didn't invite me and he didn't eat either. The wife came on three ocassions to remind him, inaan. She was even dumbfounded. It got to a stage the lady was embarrassed and didn't even know what to do.

My embarrassment was even greater. I was in a dillema, to stay; which the shame I felt will be more obvious or to leave, which I wondered how I'll comport myself with what I'll say and how I'll walk out of the sitting room.

Finally, I summoned courage and told them I needed to leave. The man said OK. The lady acted up and asked, "Will you not eat?" Knowing fully well I was hungry. I said no problem, that I need to catch up with time for something.

That's how I left and now I am close to another 0-0-0. Right now, I am headed to a free borehole water where I'll refill my tank to temporary stop the rumbling therein, rest in one primary school where boys are playing football, get a little strength and off to my room to think about my life.

Politics / Military Will Not Accept Anyone Calling For Coup – Defence Chief by OndoRaph(m): 7:46am On Aug 06
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has said the Nigerian military will not accept anyone pushing or calling for a change of government.

Musa stated this on Monday in a chat with State House correspondents after the National Security Council meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Defence chief warned those calling for a coup in the country to desist from such, saying that the military had accepted democracy and would not accept any regime change.

He said, “Also, the issue of coups, Nigeria is a sovereign nation, Nigeria is a democratic nation all security agencies are here to defend democracy and ensure that democracy continues to strive. We will not accept anyone pushing or taking any action, seemingly or for whatever reason, to want to push for any change of government. Democracy is what we stand for. Democracy is what we will continue to defend.

“We’ve said that clearly that the military is going to step in when it is out of hand, and you can see that for people supervising elements to push individuals to carry Russian flags in Nigeria, Nigeria sovereignty, that is crossing the red line and we will not accept that. And those ones who have done that will go in for the books, and they want to be prosecuted.”

Sunday PUNCH had exclusively reported how former envoys and ex-military officers expressed worry as demonstrators were seen waving Russian flags.
