Nwokem there is nothing on the ground to prove anything. Have you been to Owerre? It is one economically stagnant and dull place. There is nothing happening in that town. Nothing takes anybody to that town. Even the indigenes of the state are running to the nearby state to live and survive economically.

RareDiamond:

My brother the fact on ground in Imo State speak volumes for themselves. How do you explain the fact that two airlines have decided to expand their flight to Owerri ?
Politics / Re: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast: 12:32pm On Dec 15, 2014
There is actually nothing to show. He keep regurgitating the same pix he post from page one. Nothing to show except shabby hotels/brothels.. hehehehe

OdenigboAroli:
I see,Abagworo needed traffic to move the stagnant thread a bit further.
You gotta be bored after posting the same set of picture from different angles like fifty times...Sh...it gets old...lol

You should have said these words of wisdom to that old dirty pauper called abagworo. But what I can assure some of is that I am ever ready to engage abagworo at any level he wants it on this nairaland even offline.

I am touring Imo state next week. Onye agba kwa na oso..hehehehe

RareDiamond:

You are free to go to the sewage and refuse dump sites in Imo State to take picture so as to rubbish fruitlessly the beauty of ala Owerri. Afterall, that is your stock-in-trade. But don't expect Ndi Imo to go to the numerous slums in Anambra State to take pictures because whatever development that takes place in any part of Ala Igbo is part of our collective common wealth. We are more concerned of the rabid hatred and envy by Ndi Ofe and Ndi Ugwu towards Ndi Igbo.
Politics / Re: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast: 12:27pm On Dec 15, 2014
You are talking of Owerre of Mbakwe time. Owerre is presently a very dirty place with bad roads and its ugly houses.

OdenigboAroli:

You should be comparing Owerri to Enugu city because that was our former capital which was created same time as Owerri. Owerri has some beautiful places but is that all you have to show?
What about your collapsed education system, healthcare, industries, agriculture, youth and sports,intra-state roads ?
I didnt come here to compare Imo Anambra because there is no basis for that but it seems like thats what yall are itching for.
Politics / Re: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast: 12:24pm On Dec 15, 2014
It is clear to everyone that what CBN said is justifiable by the facts on the ground. I have not seen anybody anywhere telling me that he or she is going to Imo state. It is one state that even easterners do not even visit for anything whatsoever not to talk of other tribes. So how can you now say that the motorpark airport has more traffic than other eastern airport? There is no justification for that.

RareDiamond:

If you believe erroneously that the fact is not a real reflection. Then i should also dispute the fact that Anambra has the 3rd highest volume of cash transaction as postulated by CBN.

The stats that was pulled from the an.us. When we know that even a small place like Nnewi has an economy bigger than that state as a whole. hhehehe

OdenigboAroli:

I have noticed one thing about these bunch they present stats when it suit their warped logic...lol
Politics / Re: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast: 12:17pm On Dec 15, 2014
These are equally dirty shabby roads. I asked do you want me to post the recent pix of that same place? I need your clearance to do that. Meanwhile I will be touring Imo state next week to bring latest decay from that state. You guys better brace up for the shock.

Get us current pictures abeg. These are very old pix. The same pix that has always been on the delays from the start of this thread. I have current pix of this same place you posted. Do you want me to post them?? Imo state has no road that is just the fact.

RareDiamond:
Can you compare Anambra roads to these Imo roads ? Obviously not !!! Imo State roads are suberb !!!

Politics / Re: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast: 12:09pm On Dec 15, 2014
Ask your useless brother abagworo who started the comparison. What I will always assure him is that I will always be available to follow him up at any level he wants it.

Has this thread become a comparison between Imo and Anambra? Odenigbo Aroli,I don't understand you o! Ogini na afio?
Politics / Re: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast: 12:06pm On Dec 15, 2014
That is Nigerian stats for you. There is nothing happening in Owerre to warrant that. It is like saying that Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa when we know that South Africa trounces Nigeria in all facets of development. Take that stats away because there is nothing to justify it.

RareDiamond:

Why is Imo Airport the 4th busiest Airport after Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, If Owerri has no economy or is backward ?

Owerri airport is now the 4th busiest in Nigeria just behind Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt while Enugu comes next.

Abagworo come here. This is what Anambra rural roads looks like. Your state can only dream and imagine this sort of road even in the next 100yrs..lolz

I will help you grow this thread with good pix..hehehehe

Politics / Re: Few Pics From Imo State by oneeast: 11:40am On Dec 15, 2014
I will tour Imo state myself next week. The rot in that state is better imagine. It is even more worrisome when we consider the fact that Okorosha has borrowed over 200b withing 3yrs.

There is no real development in imo state. What he has been showing from page one till now is the same pictures of few shabby hotels in Owerre. The town can only boast of few roads which were done by Mbakwe but is going real bad right now due to none maintenance. Orlu and Okigwe are more or less slums with no meaningful development.

You are always predictable. Imo state as at today is the least developed state in the SE. In fact the only little thing that is holding Owerre economy today commercial se.x hawking business that is prevalent in that state with its attendant very dirty environment and shabby looking houses. There is no basis of comparison, Imo state has some of the worst road networks in the East. It is one state that its citizens run to other states whereas nobody goes to the state to do anything whatsoever. At least I know that 1/4th of your state people has invaded mine just to live and survive economically whereas you cannot find anybody from my state in yours. There is nothing happening in your state. Even ordinary Nnewi beats your state capital economically and otherwise. The last I checked there is no teaching hospital in Imo state. It is an insult to compare any part of your usleless state to ours because we very far ahead of you in all indices of development.

Stop deceiving yourself just to feel good. I am also touring Imo state this season to bring current pix of the decay in that state. Be ready for me.

Abagworo:

For you to claim schools are in decay is falsehoid for a State that built over 300 schools. Imo today is the 2nd most developed State in the East after Rivers State. This was achieved in less than 4 years without large funds and without FG assistance. Owerri airport is now the 4th busiest in the country after Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja. If we are not developing rapidly why are economic and tourism activities more now in Owerri than other States in the East outside Rivers?

Please saTANist we have seen your thread and the ugly, dirty and red pictures everywhere. We even saw people's houses and those Igbotic houses that can only be found in our alternate cities like Orlu which is like your State capital from every indication. I am touring the East and I am in Akwa Ibom right now seeing the level if decay and poverty. I will sure be in your State soon to also ascertain the level of decay and poverty. God bless Nigeria.

If we do a general assessment of overall roads in both Imo and Abia states, I must confess to you that Abia has better road network than Imo state. Owerre side of PH road is a deathtrap and about the worst road in the East.

Orji tried at least he did not borrow a dime, what about Okorosha that borrowed over 200billion with nothing on the ground to show for it? Abeg cut Orji some slack.

ernecy:
It's only a paid e-rat will come to NL to say Abia state has good roads, and because of the nature of my Job, I worked in NW Nigeria (about 2years) b4 a transfer to SE early this year, and the level of underdevelopment I saw in Abia made me weep. Abia state is no where compared to any state in Nigeria.

Pls Abagworo, in as much u are tryn to show d positive side of Abia state (umuahia) kindlly show us recent pictures of roads in Aba.

cheesy cheesy

Dirty old pauper keep deceiving yourself. cheesy

Okorosha is the greatest scam since the origin of Igboland..a crook who has borrowed over 200billion with nothing on the ground to show for it. Imo state has sunk to an unbearable condition. Orji is by far better than Okorosha because the former hasn't borrowed at least put something on the ground no matter small while the later borrowed over 200billion and wasted it with his northern cousins while Imo state rots away.

abagoro:

I am obviously more endowed than you thats why I say things the way they are. Obi remains one of the biggest scam in Igboland and is no way better than Orji.

Abiriba, Abia State.

Compare Orji eith Obi in terms of industries attracted and realise Orji's only sin is refusing to work on Aba roads.

This alone is capable of turning Nnewi into a melting point for international auto showcase and the accompanying massive jobs it will create for our young graduates.

To assist vehicle manufacturers in the country in sourcing local raw materials, the minister (Aganga) disclosed that the Federal Government had concluded arrangements to set up three auto components manufacturing firms in Abuja, Lagos and Nnewi, saying that of Nnewi was specifically considered because of IVM’s presence in the industrial town from where other parts of the country, particularly the South-East would be served. He said the auto component manufacturers in the zones would almost produce all the 2,000 parts used in cars."

The Resort will be the best and finest relaxation spot in the SE when completed. The full beauty will come out when the large hectares of land upon which it's sited are completely landscaped with motorway, lawn/flowering.

How will I get to the resort from Ezi-agulu junction? And do u also mean to tell me that the resort looks different from the pix? I am judging from the prototype of the building and its not quiet amazing.
I like only the raddison blu hotel and conference center and Lg ainds hotel that's why I have been asking of pix from the ongoing hotel at awka.

Siting of Raddison Blu and Shoprite there is part of the smartcity they are developing to stretch to GRA phase 2 even up to Akpaka forest reserve where they want to develop luxury apartments.

Anambra state government should learn how to construct magnificent buildings.
I don't even like agulu lake resort building because it looks like Utuu village town hall(a town at Nnewi south).
