Politics / Re: “jonathan, The Port-harcourt – Owerri Express Road Is Deplorable” by oneeast: 9:01pm On Sep 11, 2014
Stop deceiving yourself. I'm not adolpph, u can digress all u want but what I know is the Osha-Awka-Enugu hwy is presently under going reconstruction.

The only horrible road in the SE is the Owerre section of PH road. Tell your gov to learn how to be in the opposition and still get his due shares.

abagoro:

Chino whether you like create a billion monikers tonight Onitsh/Enugu expressway is as bad. Its a terrible experience to attempt travelling to Enugu from Onitsha. Here are some pictures from Onitsha/Enugu expressway.
Politics / Re: “jonathan, The Port-harcourt – Owerri Express Road Is Deplorable” by oneeast: 8:21pm On Sep 11, 2014
U are a dreamer! As for voting GEJ is a done deal for the SE. Okorosha should not drag other SE states in his mess. He should go to Abuja and approach FG just like other SE govs are doing.

Opposition does not mean that u should be fighting FG. Imo state is the worst hit because their gov have decided to use their state as a fighting tool to the FG and that is why no FG project is ongoing in the state.

He should get busy with leading the state than jumping from one place to another.

rudedough: Any onye Igbo who votes for GEJ come 2015 is either politically naive or very insensitive. Let's be frank, what has GEJ done for the SE since 2011? All his completed projects have been in the North while his 'awaiting commissioning' or 'suspended projects' or 'proposed project on paper' is spread all over the SE.

Let's tell ourselves the truth, Ala-Igbo is liked a conquered territory to GEJ and there is no need trying to appease a people you've already conquered ''politically''. Do we have any Federal road this bad up North? Ndi-Igbo should wake up!! GEJ doesn't take us serious.
Politics / Re: I'll Repair Federal Roads If Neglected Till December....okorocha by oneeast: 8:03pm On Sep 11, 2014
Beren, I think I will have to tell u to shut up! Do not generalize this matter. SE roads are all receiving attention- Osha-Awka-Enugu is over 85per completed. Enugu-Abakaliki is equally completed. Enugu-PH is equally ongoing.

The only bad road in the SE is Owerre section of exp way that leads to Rivers state. Tell Okorosha to sit down for once and develop his state. There are so many bad roads both state and fed in imo state, the gov needs to get his act together. Opposition does not mean fighting the federal govt.

I never said expressly that they will surely win but for those saying that they will not make should start by telling us why and how!

MaziOmenuko:

You didn't give us any reason why you think they will succeed in their political quest either. Snapping a pix with pdp chairman doesn't mean they have an automatic ticket for the said positions.

If I post my picture with Don Jazzy, does it mean I'm the next big artist and will launch a very successful album soonest?

I have not seen a detailed reason why he cannot make it. Because even the Catholic mission have since absolved him of any attack on its priest!

maestroferddi: Ohakim will be a disaster for PDP in Imo.

PDP can't try it or else Fayemi's case in Ekiti would be a better showing at the polls.

The man Ohakim is DOA: dead on arrival.

Nobody has given us a cogent and verifiable reason why you think those candidates cannot make it in the next election. Its time for our elections to be issue based rather than sentiments..
Politics / Re: The Return Of The "Giants": Orji Kalu, Dimeji Bankole And Ikedi Ohakim(pictures) by oneeast: 4:00pm On Sep 10, 2014
Hun, I am sure the major reason he lost the election was because of the Catholic Church which have now absolved him of any attack on its Priest. Well I do not know Imo state politics too well to predict but what I know is that he is coming out next year to contest the guber election.

berem: ina ajukwa? Ikedi Ohakim can never return to Douglas House. He better contests for Okigwe zone senatorial or better still a member of house of reps.

berem: so in your mind, you think Ikedi Ohakim will take over from Rochas in 2015? I dey laff!
Politics / Re: The Return Of The "Giants": Orji Kalu, Dimeji Bankole And Ikedi Ohakim(pictures) by oneeast: 3:39pm On Sep 10, 2014
Give this house a cogent reason why you think he cannot make it to the seat of power..

rocgirl: During the day of the previous Imo gubernatorial polls, I could still recall some parts of that quick live interview which Mr. Ohakim granted a couple of reporters. Especially that part where when asked if he thinks he stood a chance at the elections, he said, 'I would win, and i would win with a veeeery wide margin'.
This time around, he would lose with the widest margin, there is!

Dimeji Bankole on his own part has been 'anointed' by the party bigwigs to win the PDP ticket and go ahead and win the Ogun State Gubernatorial race. Dimeji is said to have the backing of the former President of Nigeria- Olusegun Obasanjo.
