The Pastor has not categorically denied what the judge said. He is simply choosing his words. Let Umana and Ameachi sue the judge for defamation if they are sure they never tried to pervert justice. Maybe other judges so visited are waiting to make their revelations.
What then is this?

"4. I have never led anyone to Justice Okoro nor attended any meeting in his house where the issue of bribery, corruption of any kind or perversion of justice was discussed. Of course, I could never have and will never contemplate such as it is against my personal principles informed by my relationship with the Almighty God. Only God knows when all you ipob youths will get sense. Buhari contested three times and lost yet took his case all the way to the supreme court and never offered bribe. How it suddenly make sense that a man who never bribed in opposition will now bribe when he's the CinC shows how retarded some of you are. kutchs:

The issue here is not how much JSC are paid but how Buhari tried to use Amaechi to influence Justice Inyang. If you have any problem with the estacodes paid them go to court.
Isn't it obvious now why the judges are being persecuted? Mr Integrity my foot.

I disagree sir. Don't confuse the matter before gullible people are misled. Mr Okoro never sang this reggae he is playing to hoodwink people like you until he was arrested and about to be tried. He is acutely aware that offering of bribe alone is a crime yet this alleged corrupt judge never squealed like Otedola did to Farouk Lawan .
How come he is always the go to guy when it comes to cash for justice? He should go and tell his story to the gullible. If Mr Okoro has no skeleton in his cupboard and not caught to have collected $20K from Akpabio and DSS investigation revealing how he acquired multi-billion naira properties everywhere with the proceed of crime, he would not have dragged Amaechi in.
His decision to rubbish people who are likely innocent is the trick of a drowning man who doesn't want to go down alone. We miss the era of upright judges like Kayode ESO,Oputa,Uwaifo because the current crop are like Mr Okoro .
Like I said earlier, the main issue is that he wrote this unsolicited letter not because he received a query from NJC but to set up a basis for his Paddy paddy NJC to acquit him. We're watching

This is not the issue here. The issue is if it is true he officially received amount of money for the past three years.
.
No sir. He has already fabricated a lie to answer your question. The main issue is the purpose he wants to achieve with the letter since there's no evidence that he was queried by NJC
The issue is that corruption is fighting back. He's trying to use the unsolicited letter to build a basis for the embattled NJC to clear him. He doesn't have immunity and should stop playing to the gallery .Mr Okoro should answer to the alleged crime.

If judges could take bribe, bet me, those in the jury system would do worse.

Apparently, you don't know the reason why more developed democracy have the jury system was to prevent the kind of monumental corruption being perpetuated in Nigeria by a single set of cabal professionals called lawyers on bench and in the bar while the rest of the citizens who hold a greater stake in democracy look on like fools.
Most of you don't know the extent the lawyers have hijacked a whole arm of democratic government because of your ignorance and docility.
Since much of it escaped your attention,I will call your attention to the debate over the corrupt judges in the Nigerian Senate, all the senators(Akpabio et Al) who asked the Senate to condemn DSS were lawyers angry
It's time for the citizens to play major role in the Judiciary arm of government through the jury system

Awon abayeje gbogbo. I thought they kept shouting that the judiciary is underfunded and that same 2013,JUSUN,the umbrella body of judicial officers went on strike several times relating to poor and delayed remuneration yet Supreme Court justices were being paid estacode running to thousands of dollars. Just get a good lawyer, una paddy paddy NJC will not save you. As for Amaechi, he has better sue this Okoro before he joins him in prison

Politics / Re: The Real Reason Behind Aisha's Outburst Over Buhari- Dr. Bebeji by onomeasike: 4:34pm On Oct 16, 2016
mmb:
Here is the opinion of Dr. Umar Sani Bebeji on the ongoing squabble between President Buhari and his spouse Aisha Buhari and I concur:

"If you think Aisha Buhari is speaking because of the hardship across the land then you are yet to understand her interest. You think she really cares about any of us?

She and her people are not "chopping" as anticipated. If the president had given her access to the till, you know she'll care less that there is hardship anywhere. It is all about self, and her entourage. This outburst is clearly an outcome of deeply suppressed personal discontent.

Secondly, politics aside, who among you will tolerate a wife running her mouth in public this way? Is she is a politician? Did we elect her do do anything on our behalf? Is she an appointed statutory adviser? Her simple job is to be a good wife to Mr. President. Give him the necessary emotional support an handle family affairs now that his hands are full, minding her damn private business as beautician and whatever the heck business she runs...and take that her daughter off our affairs and screens too.

If she cannot effectively get her husband's full attention and manipulate him to do her bidding, then she is a disappointment to women folk. It exposes her own weakness as as wife. Sophisticated wives get their husbands to do things with excitement.
On this, I say kudos to Baba for resisting the urge to be swindled into putting personal interests of Aisha and her entourage ahead of his convictions to run Nigeria like he belongs to everybody."
Psycho poster, you must have thought everyone is hungry like you. I am sure that you are one of those ipob youths.

Politics / Re: How The Nigerian National Judicial Council Shields Corrupt… by onomeasike: 7:47pm On Oct 11, 2016
It's not their fault. It's the fault of Nigerians who carelessly and foolishly abandoned a whole arm of government to a single professional group. This is never done anywhere in the world. The NJC as presently constituted is an assemblage of lawyers and a mere technical pressure group of the NBA. Nigerians should recover their third arm of government from lawyers. They are placing the protection of their professional interests above the national interest .
If we have to retain the NJC, it's membership should be elective and elective slots shouldn't be for only lawyers!!
I remember that the last national conference were headed by non lawyers yet the conference was well conducted so there's no big deal if we have non lawyers on the NJC.

The exact rule of law that was broken is what none of these people has been able to tell us.

Invitation by law enforcement agencies is a courtesy, not a right. You can be arrested once there is a reason to do so and an arrest warrant is in place.

And if you resist arrest, your house can even be pulled down to effect the arrest. In fact you may lose your life in the process and nothing will happen thereafter.

PMB, please carry on. We dey your back like hunchback.
God bless you. We're going to retrieve our third arm of government from all these hustling lawyers.
They are using our democratic institutions to protect their selfish professional interests. When ordinary Nigerians were being beaten and killed by the military government, people like Oditah were in England enjoying but because we foolishly handed over a whole arm of government to him and his professional colleagues, he can start saying rubbish. Where in the world is a whole arm of government left to the antics of just a single professional group. They even created a technical pressure group called NJC and equated this technical group as the decision of all the stakeholders in the third arm of government!!!
Politics / Re: It’s Only In Nigeria We Arrest Before We Investigate, Says NBA Secretary by onomeasike: 6:28pm On Oct 11, 2016
Shut up Mr NBA!!! The third arm of Nigerian government belong to Nigerians.Enough of your shenanigans. The NJC as presently constituted is a mere "technical pressure group " of the NBA!!! Nowhere in the world will a whole arm of government be abandoned to just a professional group. When you guys mess up and we treat your mess, you suddenly equate it to the judiciary. I now know why the American society had the jury system and members of the jury selected from members of the society!!

Read what i wrote again, before mentioning me.
Didn't say they arrest criminals, but they're in the right position to over see the affairs of the judges.
In the discharge of their legitimate professional duties. Once they cross the border line of decency, like all other professionals, they lose all privileges. Nothing makes it special because they are professional judges. The problem is that there's a dubious attempt to equate an assemblage of lawyers as the third arm of government. NJC is just a fraction of the judiciary if you consider how its presently constituted. It's lawyers talking to fellow lawyers. The atmosphere will place professional camaraderie of lawyers over the interest of the nation. That's why the Chief Justice has only seen the crisis as an attack on his professional group he has not seen the collateral damage his professional colleagues have done to the nation. How we were foolish enough to abandon a whole arm of government to just one professional group is the grave mistake I seek that we correct. It's never done anywhere in the world. Citizens should recover their judiciary arm of government from lawyers before they kill our democracy!!

Speak base on the topic for discussion, not base on your grievances with Lawyers.
You are already the laughing stock because Nigerians unanimously supported the arrest and prosecution of the judges. The next phase is to recover our democratic institutions from the corrupt lawyers and I mean the corrupt ones. There's a new dawn!! NJC has presently constituted is a "technical interest/pressure group of the NBA!!

From what you wrote after bringing this news forward shows you're a dictator in the making.

Hope you know we have 3 arms of government, and there's separation of powers between them to avoid dictatorship or tyranny, constitutionally none is made to take up the responsibilities of the other and that's why they've been calling on your dictator brother Buhari to respect "the rule of laws of the land", but unfortunately people like you who don't respect what's stated in the constitution will support his acts.

Even if they're corrupt, it's not his legal rights to arrest them, it's the duty of NJC.

That's a lie from the pit of hell. NJC as presently constituted is a 'technical'interest group of the NBA. It's role is administrative it's job is not to arrest criminals.
Stop this falsehood.

When you have a dictator in power, what more is expected?.
I'm sure you know that what you typed has no correlation with the age long corruption in the judiciary and the deceit of lawyers using our democratic institutions to protect and push for what is purely their professional interests. We're not going to allow just a professional group to hijack our democracy. The same thing played out in the power sector before the error in the appointment was rectified recently. About 5 or seven out of the 9 member National Electricity Regulation Council were made up of lawyers, the leader of the economic team, the minister of budget planning, minister of housing are lawyers and they are almost all flops because they are in the wrong offices yet other professionals look on as if they're not stakeholders in the country.
There is fire on the mountain!!!
