Phones / Re: China's Huawei Launched 5G Network The Secret Reveled By USA Will Blow Your Mind by onyidon21: 8:11pm On Apr 07, 2019
America is obviously not happy with the rapid rate at which China is advancing in science and technology.
Recently, China announced their plans to launch artificial moons across the country. Some time last year, their astronomers visited the other side of the Moon--a feet no other country has achieved. Also the rivalry between the two tech giants–Huawei and apple in which Huawei is winning seems to be a adding insult to America's injury.
All these media blackmail is sponsored by the US to bring down Huawei and consequently, affect China.

That's not true....the indirect rule was only successful in Northern Nigeria. South west nigeria was the most difficult place for the white to rule in Nigeria for obvious reasons. The agitation for independence was mainly from the Yoruba. So stop misleading peolpe here.

Xiaomi will have a difficult time competing with tecno in Africa. Samsung is loosing its relevance yet how much Xiaomi that thinks of penetrating
.
You seem not to understand my point.
Samsung is struggling in Africa because Africans are highly sensitive to price. With Xiaomi having the best price to performance ratio in the world, they will definitely dominate the market. It's yet to make an official presence in Africa yet it has a reasonable number of people using it here.
Now, you have to take this, there's absolutely nothing spectacular about Tecno. The reason why tecno is dominating tge market is because of ignorance about phone on the part of the market . There are many brands out there that can give good specs at better prices than tecno.

Where is Huawei, Gioneee today in the Nigerian market? Transsion has existed for twelve years in Nigeria for a reason.

How many people can afford the quality of phones Xiaomi would make? Unless they lower their standards and therefore their prices, it would be difficult for them.
.
Ther reason why Huawei isn't doing so well in Nigeria is because their phones are relatively expensive, and of course you know that we Nigerians are averse to high-priced-products.
Gionee in the other hand isn't innovative, hence their woes.
With xiaomi having the best price to performance ratio, they will find it easy dominating the market.

For y'all thinking it'll be another Tecno, rethink cos this phone is on same class as Samsung and iPhone. Yes! I said it.... IPhone! So in terms of price, hehehehe, you go spend money ooo! I just hope they don't compromise their standards for the Nigerian market cos these Nigerians love to spend less for more.
.
Definitely, it's not coming to compete with tecno, infinix and the rest, it's coming to compete with the big boys Samsung, huawei, oppo etc

Gionee tried similar thing yet they lost it

Gionee is nothing compared to xiaomi. We are talking about the world's fifth biggest phone brand and you mentioning Gionee that is not competitive globally

lol

is xiaomi ready to make substandard products?

because Africans like LOW products not quality
.

You are wrong. Africans don't necessarily like substandard products. Africans want quality products like others; the only difference is that Africans are highly sensitive to price Xiaomi is going to do really well in Africa because they will give Africa quality products at reasonable prices.

Incidents like this requires an urgent retaliation by Nigerian government. But considering the fact that those mostly affected are from a certain part of the country and also by considering that we have a sectional president, nothing will be done to address this issue by Nigerian government. That is the sad reality
