Business / Re: Brain Drain Hits Nigerian Banks As Tech Experts, Others Resign In Droves by Opmic: 10:36am On Aug 23, 2022
FreeStuffsNG:
Is it really brain drain? undecided
It is more of a sweeping purge of fraudulent IT staffers after persistent complaints of Nigerians and NDIC frustration that banks are too scared to report these fraudulent staff to regulators.

Most of them committed the fraud and japa but they are deceiving themselves; they will still be caught eventually. Karma does not rest wink

The brighter side is that our bank I.T related frauds may now go down. Just few days ago, I read an official that Access Bank just brought in an I.T guru as their Executive Director for that segment to keep most of these fraudulent ex-staff away from deposits of innocent Nigerians. Banks are now very conservative in that area and extra careful before hiring IT guys. They may soon be outsourcing it like cash in transit service that comes with insurance or go for foreigners head hunted by reputable global HR coys.
If you are a Nigerian who is upright, smart and patriotic well known in the industry as smart, honest and faithfully competent, right now, even if they fire you one day, they will come back and beg you to come back; your kind are scarce now and in high demand!

Below is a report by BusinessDay:

According to the NIBSS, fraud-related transactions reportedly cost Nigerian banks on average N14 billion in losses annually. These figures, some within the banking sector, believe are understated.

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) in 2018 sought to investigate some banks for the inadequate rendition of returns to the Corporation on instances of fraud, forgeries, and cases involving members of their staff who were either dismissed or had their appointments terminated on grounds of fraudulent activities. The NDIC made the decision in the light of the report from its Off-Site Supervision of the banks, which revealed the number of fraud cases attributed to internal abuse by staff of banks increased from 231 in 2016, to 320 in 2017, or 38.53 percent above the figure reported for the previous year.

Today, e-banking frauds have developed into a mega industry where cyber criminals deploy sophisticated tools to steal information and scam account holders. The list of bank frauds perpetrated online is endless.

And University students are all at home because of lecturers unwillingness to sign up under this fraud system.

Seriously, Nigeria need help.
And a lot of Nigerians are still standing on our possible way to freedom, which is removing anything related to the present and past administrations and fill with something new.
New set of individuals will first focus on building their brand by doing well, other than looking for a way to loot money.
The present and older administration believes they already have a structure so they are confident to rule anyhow.
Imagine, all the students of the public versity institutions of a country have been at home for over 6 months, in the 21st century. And they government confidently run their deeds without any fear. Meeeen this is bad, but it's not their fault, it's the people fault. If nobody had backed the agbado ND cassava walking dead, he would have forced the current flag bearer to do something to most of our problem, knowing it's affecting him.
But some of us, who don't have tumor on our brain, who is not mad or insane will still look at the current situation of this nation and still shamelessly say something good about APC.
It is well with Nigeria ooo.

Obi was elected governor on the platform of APGA and it is on record that he never convened an APGA meeting thereby destroying the entire party structure. Obi should explain to party faithfuls and loyalists why he destroyed the party;

Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra what happened to the state local government allocations and why Anambra under Obi is the only state in Nigeria without elected local government officers in place?

In view of the foregoing, we demand his

Lol , Obi the opportunist. If I were Ibo I can never support Obi cause Obi is bound to fail , I see him as a fake product without solid appeal. How come he's exonerated from Akwuzu sars extra judicial killings but they blame Tinubu for Lekki shootings.
Obi is bound to fail how will he be the president amidst two major opposition party but i trust the political prostitutes plans is to decamp to PDP. Scamming the youths like he scammed Atiku to gain political relevance nationwide.
A vote for Obi is a vote for fake product and deception.
The structure in APC was built by significant amount of political gurus coming together for years.
The structure in PDP is the labour of hundreds of political elites for years if not decades.
The structure coming up in Labor Party is the labour of Peter Obi for just few months. Meeeen that man is a genius, no wonder he himself calls it a miracle.

I'm actually not a Yoruba but I've lived in Yoruba land, Lagos precisely for long

Any Yoruba, Hausa or fulani man and woman campaigning for Obi should have a rethink and retrace their step back. Though this isn't supposed to be so but you see those IGBOS have turned this election to tribalistic one. They have even turn it to religious one

I will support and vote for Tinubu. He has more achievements, antecedents and legacies to point at as a governor and when he left government than EVERY other contestants

Tinubu is very much accommodating and tolerance than other contestants. IGBOS are taking political position in Lagos. IGBOS are civil servants in Lagos and other South western states. IGBOS are doing businesses freely in Lagos and other south western region

Please go to any eastern state to see if you'd see any Yoruba or Hausa man as ordinary councillor. It is a TABOO to the Igbo

To them their igbo president in form of Obi is the best after bread and butter while others are nothing to write home about. Support Tinubu or Atiku and watch them curse, bash or threaten you. They accused you of being paid for supporting Tinubu or Atiku while them are doing it freely. They always insult the Fulani and Hausas and call them all sorts of names. They even call them cow, almajiri etc. They insult the Yorubas calling them fulani slaves. They condemned Nigeria as a country. Claiming Nigeria is a ZOO

ACHIEVEMENT- I WILL VOTE TINUBU
TOLERANCE & ACCOMMODATING- I WILL VOTE TINUBU

For the northerners who reside in the north you can ask any of your family or friends living in Lagos and other South western states they will tell you how Yoruba are so friendly, loving and accommodating. Go to the state headquarter at Alausa ikeja you'll see igbos holding top position without any discrimination

Go to east and see how all positions are occupied completely by all igbos.

An average IGBOS are resentful, spiteful, hateful, bittered et al. They literally see themselves better, superior and more sophisticated than other tribes.

PLEASE verify this my claim if you aren't aware of it and make a decision on who to campaign and vote for

I leave you to your conscience
And the truth is after voting in your Tinubu and all the economic hardship begins the Igbos will barely be affected by it. They've trained themselves to not depend on government for nothing.
Go to the north, no big man without one form of governmental help. Majority of big men in Yoruba land has one form of government assistance or the other.
Only Igbos are self made billionaires allow them handle this country let see how they can help us.
