I arrived there around 5:30 and my appointment was for 8:45, I have been to the place a couple of times, so I know the terrain, I sat and waited till 7:30 before joining the queue. I had prayed to God so I was a bit confident but when I got into the interview room I was even more confident ( in my mind this place hasn’t changed much from 3 years ago) so I was ready to face any of the vo’s..I smiled all through basically God came through for me....I wish people success stories like mine IJN

I was at the embassy today, I saw people Granted, that I was even telling them that I tap into their Testimony, who else saw that small Dada boy that came alone, he was Granted, I saw Lots of people granted, and saw higher % denied including me, Everything went well until he found an ESL on my i-20, Me that I was even over prepared, In fact I was still reading what I jotted inside the hall !! To let them know I'm prepared, Indeed he saw that fact, But the ESL bleeped me up!!! ESL is English is a Second Language.

Me; (Honestly I don't know what to say here, But I have to try and say something). Due to the my present place of work and little experience I've gathered there its an eye opener, and I want to further in that field in other to help me gain And know how to Apply Critical thinking skills and proven management theories and practices to analyze, evaluate, and decide on a wide range of project management business for the organization. Nevertheless its a Certificate Course that would increase my qualifications and gain more stand for a higher post.

ME; it will help me construct and Optimize project management business opportunities in competitive market, also at the end of the course I should be able to foster interdisciplinary teamwork and collaborative work environment, will be able to plan, execute, monitor and control projects.

Told myself I wouldn't post anything on NL until something big changes for me.

July 2016: F1 visa approved.
July 2018: GC approved.
July 2018: Job offer accepted.

I'm now a legal permanent resident of this place... and I'm starting my job at progressive insurance on Monday 8/6 in the claims department. Not the best job in the world but I'd take $50k p.a. right now considering all I've been through lol. My second part-time job will earn me between $4h and $1k a month too so... not a bad start.

Now I can come back to NL and give advice like the old days to anyone who wants it. I don't remember the username of that guy who used to tackle me all the time with "body go tell you" posts. Baba, if you can read this, whether it's luck or not, I didn't encounter any of those scary things you predicted o.

Prospective NLers chasing the American dream, ask me whatever you need to know. Against all odds, I came here to study stupid course in a stupid school without any funding. 2 years later, it's all history. It took a bit of luck but who cares? I'm in a better place and that's what matters.

Don't let any keyboard warrior discourage you from chasing your dreams... keep sleeping! Lol.
