I do fancy your idea of a grand party for this great forum and will love to partake in it. But is proper we are aquaint with the position of things. Is the owner of this forum, seun osewa, aware of this? Has he given his expressed or implied permission or is he part of the whole p

re,should have his endorsement, except proven otherwise, to give it its legality. Thanks.

Romance / Re: Would You Stay With Arnold Schwarzenegger? (Re: Secret Child) by orgasm(m): 7:48pm On May 19, 2011
Abegi make una free d guy jare. man is polygamous in nature and he only just displayed that. this our preaching of monogamy which we adopted from d western world is all hypocrisy. if there was no son as a result it wud hv been difficult to prove that he was all along bleeping his maid. most men are into this despite d fact they display their one wife symbol.
This has caused a serious social menance n imbalance to our women especially in the nigeria society. have u ever ask urself why we have so many desperate girls, ladies and women every where, churches, spiritual homes, babalawos and wat have u looking for husbands or a man just to call their own as against the norms during the time of our parents where wives were sought not the other way round.
During the time of our parents, men married more than one wife thereby mopping up the excess women in supply. but today cos of our one man one wife syndrome,we have surplus women in the system without any mechanism to mop them up hence the societal challenges of husband snatching and pilfering as d case may be. Mind u i got the submission from an old woman who gave me the explainations when i asked her, why is it that during their time wives were desperately sought by numerous suitors but in the present day husbands are sought by too numerous women both old and young? IS A SERIOUS ISSUE AND NOT FUNNY AT ALL TO OUR LADIES COS I PUT MYSELF IN THEIR SHOES MOST TIMES AND REALLY FEEL PITY FOR THEM. THEY CANT MARRY THEMSELVES NEITHER DOES THE SOCIETY PERMIT THEM TO MAKE MOVES TO THE DIRECTION OF ASKING A MAN TO MARRY THEM. MOST STAY IN A LONG RELATIONSHIP HOPING AND PRAYING FOR THAT DAY THEIR BOYFRIEND,FIANCE OR LIVE-IN-LOVER WILL PROPOSE. They are confused most times cos they cant ascertain if the guy is serious or not and dont know wen to actually leave to create room for a more serious prospect. Our women are victims of their own society and we the men dont seem to or simply refuse to understand and appreciate the plight of our women instead we make fun of their plight and take advantage of their precarious and helpless situation. we take sexual advantage of them and they give in at times with the hope it will lead to something fruitful and they are usually let dem down. IS SIMPLY NOT FAIR!

Politics / Re: The Royal Wedding And Its Rules And Ethics For The 1900 Guests. by orgasm(m): 9:12pm On Apr 11, 2011
The so called royal family is still living in the past. The world is more civilised and refined than they know. This is the era of absolute freedom so those guest and caterers have the right to look at who they choose to look at. Is dehumanizing. This is no stone age and colonialism is dead for good. The whole world is clamouring for democracy and equality and
they are here talking about not looking at them. Are they not made of flesh and blood? And their prime minister is out there fighting against ghadafi and other despots. Hypocrites! The last days of the monarchy is near.
Politics / The Royal Wedding And Its Rules And Ethics For The 1900 Guests. by orgasm(m): 4:01pm On Apr 11, 2011
Royal Wedding guests have been sent a 22-page list of do's and don'ts – including how to hold their teacups.

The etiquette guide has commonsense tips such as not clashing with bride Kate Middleton’s outfit by wearing white or cream and keeping phones silent.

But there is also advice for the 1,900 guests on how to greet the Queen.

Meanwhile, separate instructions to caterers have given strict orders that staff must not look at Her Majesty or other royals while serving.

A Palace source said yesterday: "Etiquette is very important but for some it will be a minefield. That's why this guide will help.

"Guests are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony begins.

"As the Queen enters Westminster Abbey, everybody has to acknowledge her arrival with a curtsey or bow as she walks through. The same must happen as she leaves."

Royal etiquette expert Jean Broke-Smith added: "When you meet the Queen, she puts her hand out first and you address her as Your Majesty. In conversation you address her as Ma'am, to rhyme with jam or ham, not palm."

A key part of the guide deals with dress code. The Palace source explained: "Wearing the right hat and not overdoing it is important. Wearing cream or white is not appropriate. That must be left to the bride.

"Men in the Armed Forces should wear uniform and male civilians a lounge or morning suit. A top hat should be carried, not worn, inside the church."

The 1,900 wellwishers who will see Prince William wed Kate on 29 April include 1,000 friends and relatives.

Joining them will be politicians, foreign royals, stars such as Sir Elton John and the Beckhams and villagers from Bucklebury, Berks, where Kate's parents Michael and Carole live.

For some guests the afternoon reception and evening private dinner will mean having to learn a bewildering set of upper-crust dining rules.

Ms Broke-Smith revealed: "There will be champagne flowing and you've got to hold the glass properly, by the stem.

"During the formal dinner a lot of people won't know how to use a knife and fork properly, let alone which cutlery to choose from.

"You must eat from the outside in and if you have a mass of glasses in front of you, it helps to know which to use.

"With tea cups, lift the cup not the saucer and hold it very gently with your index finger and thumb, returning the cup to the saucer after every sip."

Private catering staff waiting on the guests also have a strict protocol to follow.

The royal source said: "They have been told not to look at Kate, the Queen or any of the royals while serving. They must keep their heads down and be as discreet as possible."

Yesterday a Palace spokesman confirmed: "Guests have been given instructions for the day.

Is this not primitive and barbaric not looking the Queen and bride?
NYSC / Re: 4 Nysc Members, 10 Others Die In Edo Auto-crash by orgasm(m): 8:57am On Apr 03, 2011
I drove past the accident scene at Ewu hill, close to the monastery,on my way to Benin on friday evening at about 4.45pm and was a very gory sight as the accident was very fresh and rain was drizzling on the bodies lying dead on the road.
I counted about 3 male bodies very close to the road with various degrees of mutilations. One was without two legs from the thigh, one was complete n fully dressed and the one very close to the severely smashed bus was in two parts with legs n hands in detached position. The tanker certainly failed brake, left its lane and smashed the bus against a Hill and grounded through the bus to the last seat. The head of the tanker smashed too n wedged into the squeezed bus. I knew right there it would take a miracle for there to be survivors. The area where this accident happened is well tarred, wide and paved. No potholes or what so ever just that is a hill and the tanker was descending.

EVERGREEN

When the cloud goes to the East,
From the West.
The Heavens must cry,
With a loud Protest.
And the Earth,
Must taste its Tears.
And the Brown withered Grass,
Must Rejoice.
A lush Green Coat,
Must be Adorned by the Forest.
And the Farmer must Toil,
Till he knows no Rest.
For before Him,
The colour of Life
Has laid a Bed.

HI, CHECK OUT MY PIECE BELOW; ELEGY OF A BROKEN HEART!

I found a Brown stone,
It was so rough and coarse.
Beneath the roughness lies a Beauty,
My eyes were keen enough to see.
I Picked,
I washed,
I cleaned,
I moulded and,
I cuddled.
So many stone pickers laughed,
While white stones jeered.
I was steadfast,
I was patient,
I didn't relent and,
I wasn't disappointed.
For it turned out to be,
A beautiful white stone.
I kept,
I treasured and,
I loved.
I protected from other stone pickers,
For its Beauty and Purity
Was the sweat of my Brow.
A Beautiful white Diamond!
Now,
My Beautiful white stone,
Has gone to other stone pickers.
Worse still,
Sing their praises.
She left me with nothing
But a Broken Heart!

Kudos to the Egyptian youths and people who in the face of adversity proved to the entire world that an African country can adopt the principle of non violence and civil disobedience as initiated by Ghandi of india and made popular by martin luther kings to fight a noble cause of unseating a 30years dictator.

The 26years old young man who set himself ablaze in tunisia to spark off this revolution in the arab world should be made a martyr.
The big question now is, can we do the same here in nigeria if the need arises?
