Good Evening, My visa interview date is August 19 with no AL yet but I'm looking forward to Monday 12th of August...am I suppose to cancel before 12am or I can still cancel probably in the evening of that 12th....I'm confused....I need your advice...Thanks

God might be testing your Faith, don’t give up, what if you cancel 12th of August night, and wake up 13th of August with AL? Do You mean you don't have Admission at all or you haven't gotten the hard copy from your school. Which please?

MY STORY

My Tory long no be small...i will focus on the important part.
First I want to thank Stephen for accommodating through yesterday till today and his friend Oladele who drove us to and back from the Embassy. I appreciate you guys. You rock!

We arrived at the embassy by 5am in the morning. We were asked to return 30mins to our appointment. When we returned there were about 15 people already queued up but that was indeed for our own good.

First and second people were fumbling so Mr Paulinus sent them to the end of the queue. There's nothing wrong with Mr Paulinus. Follow his instructions and you'll be fine. He is also helpful if you are willing to be helped. Don't really understand why people always complain about him.

Arrangement:

Application form 2 copies
Signed Declaration 2 copies
International Passport data page 2 photocopies
Admission letter and 2 photocopies
Block account confirmation and 2 photocopies
Age declaration or birth certificate and 2 photocopies.
Biographical old document and 2 photocopies.
Handwritten Motivation letter and 2 photocopies.
CV and 2 photocopies
Primary school certificate and 2 photocopies.
Secondary school certificate and 2 photocopies
B. Sc. Certificate and 2 photocopies.
Transcript and 2 photocopies
NYSC certificate and 2 photocopies
Neco or waec scratch card
Prepaid envelope

Note: Some of the documents are only if they are applicable to you.
I didn't go with transcript and NYSC and I wasn't sent out.

AM Alert!!!!!

After 13weeks 1day
=92days
My God finally done it.

My Journey started last year in April when I applied to TU Darmstadt - TropHEE
when i got my admission in june, my admission letter was not uploaded and so it took another 3weeks before it was uploaded
By the time i sent mail to the German Consulate for visa appointment, I got no response from the embassy, so I missed winter semester 2018.
I communicated with the school and explained my predicament. The coordinator asked me to reapply by october 1 2018.
I applied on October 2 2018 and by Feb 2019, I got my first admission for 2019.
During this period i applied to other universities

University of Bayreuth - Environmental Chemistry - Rejected
University of Bremen - Marine Geosciences - Admitted
TU Darmstadt - TropHEE - Admitted
TU Freiberg - Applied Geosciences - Admitted
RWTH Aachen University - Admitted.

Glory to God!!!!

I finally got visa appointment in march 2019 and my Appointment date was May 6
On the day of the interview, it went smoothly, during the interview, we joked, laughed and it ended within 15mins.
I funded before my interview

i waited......and waited.....after 6weeks I sent 1st mail to alien office, they replied that they didn't have my information.
I sent mail to Lagos consulate - No reply

I waited till 10 weeks sent other mails and still didnt get any reply.

i declared this month as a month of release and God heard me today.

Finally.....After 92 days - 13weeks, 1day,- my AM dropped.

Just Hold on....... God is involved, God will not leave His people stranded.
AM will flow this month. Collect Yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen, I collet mine in Jesus name. Congratulations. Go to DE and prosper. Thanks for your encouragement and prayers.

AD dropped, what a wait! Thank God.

Initially applied on 27th June used 1st Oct as Start of study date.

But as AD was rolling in on 26th July, I still didn't get a date, so I decided to take the bold step of cancelling my former application and rebooked on 26th July (midnight) using my enrollment deadline which is 15th Nov and today I got 9th Oct. Yippee.

Congratulations, please which category are you on the AD and what was your degree class too. Thanks

Had my interview today 15/7/2019..

Slept at a friend's place in Ogudu. Local man woke up around 3:30am ,then it struck my mind that I need prayers.
4:30 am at Obalende already, I nearly lost OH because I thought all the cars that are heading to VI are following same route.. But I called someone up and she told me how to find my way to the Embassy. I was in a hurry to leave that Bus stop. Only God knows why they wake up early like that in Lagos.

My Interview, Had my interview @ Cubicle 3
VO was so much concerned about my undergraduate studies, if it is related to my master's. She asked me this 3/4 times.
VO : What is your full name.
VO: Your course.
VO: Have you been learning German at all.
VO: why this course.
VO: why Germany.
VO: why not USA, UK and other European countries.
VO: why not Nigeria, she even said this your course is not studied here in Nigeria oh.
VO: Date of birth on my passport.
VO: what's your CGPA and she said with that grade why your school didn't allow you to graduate with 2.1 now..
VO: is it MA or MSC.
VO: Facts about Germany, after I told her how Germany moved its capital 7 times and mentioned.
VO: Geographical Location of Germany, President's name, Chancellor's name and her Political party and the leaders of Bundesrat and Bundestag, Economy of Germany.
VO: Bachelor Thesis.
VO: Do you have anybody in Germany.
VO: Plan after studies.
Me and the VO joked that I will have to pay for her pen that I used.
She was so lively and cool. I noticed she was looking at me eyeball to eyeball to know if this Local man knows what he is saying. She checked the school website that I applied to but I don't have an idea what she was looking at there..

AM for us all!
Amen.
Congratulations to you and AM soon

You could deliver with dhl(Paulinus might request an appointment mail from you or your brother if you go yourself and might not attend to you if u dont present one). You could still try tho(personally I prefer dropping my parcel myself at the embassy)

From: your name, reference number
To:The visa section
Then the embassy full address
Also include a copy of your visa receipt inside the envelope

Many thanks baba for your swift response. I really appreciate this. I will do just as you have advised. May God continue to enrich your wisdom. It will end in praises for us all in Jesus name, amen.

They would ask for it 4-8weeks after your interview if successful
4-8 weeks after your interview, if successful, you would receive a mail(AM) asking you to forward your international passport and travel health insurance.

@ the great man Fabcol.
Happy Sunday to u brother.
I am expecting my SL to arrive Ondo state tomorrow for DE. I had my interview 18th June and awaiting AM.
Pls, can I send it to the embassy immediately it arrive tomorrow via DHL/FedEx or can my brother in lagos drop it off for me at the embassy gate or I have to do the delivery myself?
Secondly, if it is to be delivered in person (through my brother or myself), is any day of the week and time schedule for such at the embassy?
Lastly, how would I address the package before the delivery at the embassy (my name, passport number and, visa number on the visa payment receipt and what else sir?) .
Thanks for your time and ever willing spirit to help as many on this forum.
