Nice thread OP and u are very correct but its a new world system already. The best u can do is accept it but still try to keep the old family values alive.. The system keeps us all too busy overlooking the things that matters most. Conspiracy theorists say its part of the designs to destroy the importance of the family unit...Let's not go there now. A 100 years from now the situation will be worse off. Imagine some people don't even need another to start a family. They do it themselves all thanks to technological advancements. Single women having kids, same sex couples having kids and all that. I think its just part of the price we pay as we evolve. Old traditions are fast dying away whether we like it or not. Accept the new but keep the old close to ur heart.

You have a point.
The Globalists who are pushing the NWO down our throats are hell bent on destroying the Family Unit. And God our Creator so much value the family unit.
It is a subtle fight against the Creator and every standards/norms He gave to us via the Holy Bible and our conscience.

Family / Re: Why Would A Wife Ask Her Husband Money For Sex? by Ovis1302(m): 4:22pm On May 22, 2021
Mustiboy:
Just this morning, I was woken by some noise coming from my neighbour's house. My neighbour lives alone with his wife, and they've been married for only a couple of years. The Husband is a pauper and is regarded as one of the poorest men in the neighbourhood. His wife, who is a petty trader, is not any better financially. She is beautiful but not very neat—if even neat at all. She leaves her compound unswept oftentimes, cooks openly with firewood and with the dirtiest of pots, and only brings her clothes (hers alone as she doesn't wash her husband's) outside to wash only once in two weeks. All in all, I still don't think she's dirty. wink

So this fateful morning, other neighbours and I could hear the wife bawling continually. We approached the house and saw the wife sitting on a bench in the verandah with her chin resting on her palm ; she was already sobbing this time. We asked what the problem was and she continued her bawling. Just then, the husband came out and greeted us all. He seemed calm, and he explained what happened to us, the men, while the women sat with the bawling wife to console her.

The man had wanted to have sex with his wife very early in the morning, and she had asked that the husband pay her before he's allowed to have anything sex with her. She insulted him, called him a useless, jobless man, and even said no food for a lazy man, not even sex; with this, the husband got infuriated and was forced—out of annoyance—to hit her severally. This is what alerted us, the neighbours and required us to come out of our respective houses to find out what happened.

The husband has said he is sorry and has asked us to help him apologize to his wife, and we have done so.

So I decided to bring the matter here . What do you guys think of the wife and the husband? Why would she(the wife) ask her husband for money before sex in the first place? That is where I think the wife has gone wrong.

Oh boy, you get time o. Abi you be done work for police before? So tey you know when your neighbor wife dey wash her clothes..

I would have loved to remain anonymous, but what's the point?

My problem is I'm a jobless graduate, who works for a friend. This friend I work for, doesn't even pay, he just gives me stipends after every work I do. It's a laundry work. He owns the shop, so he's in charge of everything in the shop including, collections of money and all. My work is just to work. I do virtually everything in the shop.

My problem is this guy almost all the time collects the money and doesn't even give me my share. The only time I see my share is when the I'm around when the monies are given to him.

I'm hooked because I mostly feed in there house, because the shop is just within the house. I tried to get a good job, but nothing is forth coming. I even tried applying for casual jobs, still no luck.

I'm currently in a dilemma because my parents are tired of me staying in there house, so currently I sleep in the shop, and it's not even conducive, but that's the only option I have.

I tried contacting my relatives in Lagos if I could go and make a living there, but they aren't really interested me coming.

Please I kindly need advise and help, because I'm heading towards depression.

I'm actually 30 years old. With nothing to show for, except "I'm a graduate" tag.

I feel your pains bro. I have been there before. It was not easy.
You have something worthwhile to show for at your 30th age. How do I mean?
Problem solved is Wealth generated.
You have gotten the skill of dry cleaning, solving the problem of those who are so busy to their laundry themselves ( bankers on the top chart).
You can take up dry cleaning as a profession.
From your story, the challenge is you raising fund to start your own dry cleaning business. Maybe you should hang on a little with this your friend and save more.( Sleeping in the store at the moment is not easy for real....our journey here on Earth is wavelike, we can find ourselves on the crest or trough sometimes.)
Maybe you should take up Digital Marketing skills too, that is, helping people to sell their cars, houses, generator ,dry cleaning items, etc online and get your commission.
Google is offering basic digital marketing training for free on ( https://learndigital.withgoogle.com/digitalskills/course/digital-marketing).
Bro,please don't give up hope and don't forget to keep praying to our Creator to change your story.... listening to soul uplifting songs and messages at night before going to bed will also help boost your inner strength in this trying period.
Don't Give Up!

Hmmm, brother, Though I am 32, a graduate of mechanical engineering. If I had allowed myself to be depressed due to my situation,I would have died. My parents are not rich and they are no more again.

Yes, I have brothers, one of them was ok, I told him to help me travel out, he doesn't answer. And I said this for the sake of the family.

I left my state for Lagos to stay with a brother that has wife n kid.

I trekked so hard in Lagos that I almost moved all around Lagos looking for job. Even so recruitment company still collected money from me and yet, nothing.

Even if I want to learn something, I will have to pay but where is the money.

I sold my land at home to do a maritime course at ikoyi when one of my brothers' friends linked me to a captain. I called tired after wasting that money on the course yet, I have not gotten any reply from captain that promised to help and asked me to go ahead with the course. Since last year August that I finished the course, I have not heard from him. Even when I call, he won't pick, so I gave up that that is not my job. I want to start as oiler on the ship.

I worked at a generator company for almost 2years just for peanut of 20k per month when I will still enter transport and feed. I currently live with friends after leaving that bro house when he moved to another place.

Presently, a bros I knew way back at home was the one that helped me get a casual work at a company. Imagine a graduate, 32years, I have not been able to rent apartment of my own, I couldn't go home,no girlfriend.

I lost two girls just cos I haven't gotten on my feet.

One even said I am not the kind of guy she wants to roll with. But I didn't die hearing that. I just let it pass.

I love the girl despite being a baby mama. And this is a girl we dated before I went for service, thinking things will be good and u will marry her. She's yet to marry now and she's 29.

Brother, let believe, things will surely work out well.

I love as you spoke out. You will see that help will come. We are in the same shoe.

Hi bro.
Have you thought of up Skilling as per in technical writing/proposal writing / project writing and AutoCAD.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: A Teaching Job Or A Marketing Job by Ovis1302(m): 11:39pm On May 15, 2021
Peejayx01:
Good day everyone, hope our day went well.
I want your honest opinion on a issue bothering me.

So recently I got a teaching job that pays 25k per month, this job also comes with a free accommodation, a stone throw from the school(which means no transport fare). I was offered this accommodation due to the fact that my place is very far from the school.
Also, just today, a friend got a marketing job in a popular real estate company who only pays based on commission meaning no customer, no payment, but it comes with weekly stipends for transport. This has left me at crossroads presently and I'm not sure of the best decision to take right now. Please I need your advise...
Which of the two options is closely related to your career path or passion?
I would advice you go for the teaching, though the take-home is small sha.
One way to ' see front ' if you should take up the teaching offer is to upskill yourself after work by doing online courses on IT and allied courses and do remote works.
As a teacher, add value to your profession and use your teaching stint to plan your career shift ,if at all you want to.
Brotherly, to do marketing job noh be moi moi.
This is my 2 Kobo.

After spending over 15 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, I can tell you that all these professional certifications you listed above will only enhance (not guarantee) your CV dropping/Job hunting prospect of which any reasonable employer is expected to sponsor you for any of them hence don't waste your money on any listed.

If you must use your money to earn any certification, go for those that will enable you to earn money as a consultant/remote worker, freelancer, or joining a project team on a part-time basis such as:

1) ISO 9001"2015 Quality Management System_QMS_(do PECB of Canada not Bureau Veritas of UK) - As a Lead Management System Auditor, PECB can engage you to join Audit Team anywhere in the world to certify companies that want to attain ISO Certification or maintain it.

2) Chartered Finacial Analysts (CFA) ---you can get a remote job/work part-time/freelance modeling investment/business situations and risk scenarios for Businesses/Corporation anywhere

Thanks for sharing with us, mostly those of us who have this dream of being a consultant later in life.

" Electricity is a good servant and a bad master" Discuss.
That was one of our exams questions in our final year at the uni.
Electrical safety should always be the top priority before executing any electrical projects relating to voltages above 240V.
The first thing to do is to ISOLATE...for residential buildings, isolate by removing the cut-out fuses/ engaging the switch gears .
Wearing of Insulated Hand Glove is a must too.

Food / Re: Antelope Killed Today For Easter by Ovis1302(m): 11:03pm On Mar 31, 2021
The most prominent difference between antelopes and deer is that male deer have antlers which they shed and grow every year while antelopes have horns that are permanent. Another difference is that deer antlers are branched and antelope horns are not. Antelopes belong to family Bovidae (as do sheep, goat and cattle), while deer belong to family Cervidae. Both are even-toed ungulates (hoofed animals) and ruminant mammals.
