Often times, cut off mark is determined by general performance level, if they have a target number of people they want in the next stage Ofiwa45: 1 Like |

Lol. in a progressive country, the average mind finds it's fit...There's a lot of menial jobs that pay enough to earn a decent living and there's unemployment check or programs that helps the unemployed find their feet, no one dumb down a recruitment procedure just so people who are educationally poor can fit, it's ridiculous. Yes the mark in the private sector is always higher but doesn't mean people deliberately reduce mark for a particular section. Even in diversity hiring in Yankee, you must get to certain basic threshold everyone is required to then you get ahead based on the diversity slot. White collar jobs is not for everyone, in stable countries you could run your own mini business if school is not your thing. Heck some craftsmen earn a good enough wage. The only people that have the right to feel entitled to slots in oil and gas are host communities and even at that their candidates should also be sound. We pack dummies full federal service and wonder why we are backward stinflame: 5 Likes |

Which progressive country in the world practices quota system...What is this blatant lie? Also, it's not the job of the government to provide employment but to make the market a level playing ground, when government hire more than required people in civil service, they are not providing employment because inevitably tax payers money are used to pay for redundant people. That does not make sense, if not that we get revenue from oil maybe we would have realized the impact of this foolish practice. It's also this stupid mentality that federal works are national cake that makes people feel entitled to jobs even though their scores is poor because they are from a particular region. Let it be merit based please stinflame: 4 Likes |
