So baby Sophie went for her one year immunization today and she was given measles 2nd dose, Miningitis and vitA (someone asked for this few days ago) can't remember who.

They said we can also take MMR and chickenpox but I told them next time, we can't come and be taking all those plenty injections same time. I was told to come back next week for pneumococca booster (it is free now yippee) after spending plenty moni taking them. Them go see me there first thing next week cos I was told its first come first serve thing ( me I can like to go late for immunization cos of crowd). Shee na free stuff, I must go early ooo.

So as I was at the hospital, one preggy lady fell down on her knee I felt so sorry for her ( I hope she's not one of us here) if you are, answer present. She was telling the hubby later but the man didn't feel the gravity of the fall cos he wasn't present when she fell. I just hope she and baby are ok

It doesn't matter, I understand she may be ashamed as per people will talk but how long will she keep considering what pple will say. Most pple have gone through this same thing and they came out even happier. I had same experience. Infact I was never ready for any of my baby's conception, but now I look back and laugh at my silly self for being angry whenever I got preggy then. WTH was I angry at? My baby started rejecting every every few weeks back when she was bringing out another set of teeth. She really wasted her cereals that period cos after preparing it, she won't take or she will throw up. I had to resort back to frequent breastfeeding. We have passed that phase now and she's turned back to real foodie again.

If you are strong enough, I will suggest you take your leave towards your edd, say one week to edd. Cos you need all that time with baby when baby arrives. You don't wanna resume work when baby ain't up to 3months yet or close to 3months. If na me shaa I go even wait till ede cos my belle dey always overstay edd.

You know what, I love you already. I love people that treat their helps/nanny well and pay them well as well.

I pay my help 25k excluding transportation. I pay her transport cost weekly. So in total I pay about 30-32k per month. When my colleagues/friends hear that, they always say it's too much that I should pay 15k maximum.

I tell them her pay is commensurate to her work duties. She is a hard worker and is very good with my kids. Even if she asks for a pay rise tomorrow, I won't hesitate.

May God help us all.

My help was damn good especially with the kids. My kids don't like food even me sef can't feed them much, but she will successfully feed them an adult plate of food and I will be so surprised how they managed to download all that food
I planned to increase the moni b4 I sacked her. I can't imagine someone working for me and at the end of the month she won't have any reasonable thing to contribute to her family. She was hardworking dou but can eat for Africa . if you don't pay them well, they may end up stealing from you, being lazy and giving flimsy excuses to miss work.

And if I have to go to market or go out to get something, I will leave the kids with him and I pray my 2girl will carry poo and scarra his bedroom floor , Am sure he will call me back on phone to come back and I will form so busy and not done with what am doing. My hubby helps out in the house and can comfortably take care of the kids but baby's poo poo can scare him for Africa.?
