I think this cough and cartarrh is just everywhere. I remember 2 mamas complained of same thing few pages back. Baby Sophie is also having same serious cough and cartarrh, infact she was also running temperature and not eating very well like before. I think hers is teething shaa. For the running nose, I use Shea butter. Am just waiting it out as am not in for drugs.

Your best bet will be to stay in an apartment where there are other preggy mums if possible, ones with toddlers too so you can help each other. While you are in labour, the person can take care of your baby while you do same while she's in labour. If you see someone and start making the arrangement from Naija here b4 traveling, then better.

I don't understand the massage but I think she should stop, especially since she v done the massage for sometime now, that one don do. Am not sure but I think you said something about not being sure if you were circum, if she did same with you, then I think she shouldn't do same for your daughter, you get?
And I learnt from TV from someone that was circumcised and is fighting against FGM that there are different ways of FGM, the one dey keep massaging the place with hand until it becomes almost invisible or too down/small, I believe you don't want that for your baby.
I and my mum didn't do any thing special for my girls, I remember running warm water on that area few times while bathing her.

The reason why you are finding it really hard sleeping on your stomach these days is because you are actually not supposed to be sleeping on your stomach anymore. You really have the learn how to sleep on your side for your baby's safety. you can also be alternating the sides. Kpele

Hi everyone, newbie here. Am still reading, still somewhere in page 16 . I don't know jack about sewing even to use needle to stitch up torn cloth is tiring to me but you all have motivated me.

I cut off this piece from my old cloth and decided to make a skirt for my baby. I actually finished the skirt before I saw the page where similar skirt was made . I don't have a sewing machine, haven't used one either, I don't even have a clue on how to use a sewing machine. But I was able to use just needle and thread to put this piece together. It was tasking but I was determined.

BellaElla, I no fit laugh, that cleaning is another painful experience all together. I was cleaned like that during my first birth, I actually didn't allow the nurse to clean further cos the way dey shook hand inside sb's uterus to draw out all the orishirishi blood can be so painful. I was injected before they could continue cleaning. Kpele and thank GOD your healthy baby is right there in your arms.

Biko my sister's, maybe am over using the powder ooo. I use it every time he has his bath, after using the masage oil on him ,I rub the powder all over his body too. He bathes 2times a day. Then on hot afternoons, I rub the powder all over his body too. What am I not doing right ooo...

Hope the dust from the powder don't enter his nostrils. Dats my concern. And why are you applying the powder all over his body after each bath? Won't it make his skin dry?
