So based on what I have been reading, it is clear to me that oba Lamidi was a mushrik. He was not Muslim. That's not true. It's either the Islamic cleric prayed on an effigy as claimed or the traditionalists retrieved the body after the prayer. The Imam cannot enter Baara where all Alaafin are buried.
