Eighteen Nigerians died in Saudi Arabia during the just concluded 2016 Hajj – This was disclosed by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). – The victims were mainly from Kwara, Kogi, Bauchi, Taraba, Niger, Kaduna, FCT A total of 18 Nigerians lost their lives at the just concluded 2016 Hajj in Saudi Arabia, Premium Times report. The victims were mainly from Kwara, Kogi, Bauchi, Taraba, Niger, Kaduna, FCT but there were foreign-based Nigerian pilgrims among the dead as well. According to the head of NAHCON’s medical team, Ibrahim Kana, two pilgrims, including a 40-year-old woman, died in Madinah. Three died in Muna, while 13 died in Makkah. A mentally ill woman was reportedly among the victims. Kana however noted that the 2016 death toll was the lowest in five years in Nigeria. He attributed the low figure to enhanced sanitation, increased medical awareness and compressed national medical team. NAHCON’s medical team attended to over 21,000 patients since the commencement of the hajj rites and detected five pregnant women despite repeated warnings. Meanwhile, the Hajj is 95 per cent complete and pilgrims started travelling home today, September 17. |

The eerie picture of a rare cloud formation has that been dubbed ‘the eye of God’ after being snapped over Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan The picture of an eerie phenomenon was published online by an amateur photographer – identified only as 1shustry. According to the man, the snap was taken in Kazakhstan’s capital Astana some time ago. The photographer commented on his image: “I only noticed the eye a few days after I took the picture.” Shortly after the image was made public on social media it got dozens of reactions. Illuminati conspiracy theories, the eye used by the reality TV show Big Brother and the Eye of Providence was mentioned among others. A woman has made a really shocking revelation about her husband’s rather weird obsession with their own daughter. According to her, the man is insisting that he must sleep with their daughter before she gets married.
