Did you apply as an individual or a corporate entity?

I don't even have one. I've never paid taxes before. I saw that the reason the bank can't process my form A was because of it, and I now saw in the news that it's now a law.

How do I go about this tax clearance certificate now? I have money in my Dom account too.

Is tax clearance certificate a requirement for paying with form A?

My form A was recently rejected and I was asked to attach tax clearance certificate. cry

Which account (s) you use is your choice. Kindly pay careful attention to Humphery01 explanation. It covers practically what's been said on this forum.
Even if you use Edubond, still explain the account it came from. The principle remains the same. The only plus of Edubond is piercing through your account privacy is reduced a bunch. That is they won't be pokenosing intrusively too much
Kindly reflect and act wisely. All the best.

Thank you. I appreciate.

In Ireland,
The main account the need is the one where your fees where paid from. And how the money in that account was gotten. (Business registration or salary payslips must be presented)
Salary account is also needed or your private busi ess account..
All these is to make sure the money wasn't gotten from an illicit transaction and that you have access to such funds when you get to Ireland either from your account or your sponsors.
On your letter will need to do alot of explanations on how the money came about.(only lump-sum)
Just prepare all those bank statements keep

Gaps no really matter just find one work Experience put there.

How about the money in my domiciliary account? That's the one I want to use as proof of funds I have invoices and receipts as to where the money came from.

The money in my naira savings account was gotten from the sale of my digital currencies with the purpose of paying my school fees with form A. There are a number of lump sums there, but almost are were received from one person, the buyer of my digital currencies.

Hello,

I need help and advice regarding proof of funds and proof payment since I'll be applying for a visa soon.

1. I work remotely for a company abroad and I want use the money in my domiciliary account as my proof of funds and living expenses. Since I'm paying half of the school fees, the other half will be sent to this domiciliary account from my piggyvest flex dollar account. What documents do you recommend I need to make this proof of funds and evidence of source of income good enough?

2. To pay the school fees, I recently sold some of my digital currencies. The buyer paid in naira and I intend to use form A to make the payment soon. My issue is, if I'm asked to prove how I made the money for school fees payment, what will I bring that will suffice? Will I need to present a bank statement for this naira savings account too? I'm just using it for the fee payment.

3. What documents will be useful to prove strong family ties?

4. I have a very long gap year, I graduated five years ago and I basically did remote jobs to raise money. And I'm also going for a conversion course, which is related to the remote paid work I did, but unrelated to my university degree. Any tips on what I should say, present,to write?

I really need advice on these. Please I'll appreciate it.
Education / Where Can I Get An Ebook On This Marketing Edition? by Pascal122: 1:15pm On Mar 30, 2023
Hello,

I'm looking for this book.

Marketing, 5th Edition (2019) by Baines, Fill, Rosengren & Antonetti, published by Oxford University Press; ISBN 978-0198809999.

The problem is I am unable to find the PDF of the book to purchase and read in time for the test.
The link given to me by is showing a 404 error message.

https://global.oup.com/academic/product/marketing-9780198809999?cc=in&lang=en&

So I scoured the internet, looking for the ebook on that edition so I can read but I can't find it anywhere.

I would really appreciate if I can get the ebook from anyone.

I don't mind getting an ebook for the sixth edition.

Wo! I'll delete it. I didn't ask it because I want to do something like this. Someone is recommending it for me and many other offline, so I wanted to find out from you guys. There are many people who are unaware and less informed about the process, and are gullible to follow what some people say. I just want to find out to be sure, for their sakes. I'll remove the post.

shame no dey catch you. You are asking a fraudulent question on a public forum. What do u expect us to say tho . By the way there is no certification requirements for noc. Any certification that can be backdated too is surely not a credible certification too, can you backdate a certification like CISA Smh

I'm sorry if this question comes off wrongly. I didn't mean to come off like this. A 'seasoned visa officer' told me this and I refused. I just had to come here to confirm. Like I have always said on this thread, I want my immigration process to be as honest as possible.

Thank you for a your replies. I'll show him immediately.

It's been a very loooooooooooooong wait but I will summarise as much as possible.

Lots of tears and frustration but we thank Jah

IELTS and evaluation completed October 2018

IELTS and ECA for spouse also done

Refusal letter- March 25 2019 NOC issue for self employment

I did everything right or so I thought except choose the correct NOC
I applied for reconsideration but it was refused.

Ordered gcms notes to know exactly what they were not happy with

Thankfully it was still 2019 and my score was still good for the draws

ITA-April 2019

Aor-May 6 2019

Chose the right NOC this time

For self employment

I submitted CAC business registration documents
(Take note that I didn't submit any tax receipts, I didn't find it necessary but if you have it, you can submit)
Screenshots of my website, social media pages, 14 reference letters from clients, invoices and receipts, letter of explanation stating a breakdown of my business operations in Nigeria.
Bank statements for over 5 years till time of submission
Total number of pages to show evidence was 93! I didn't want to take any chances after the refusal

Baby was born May 28, added her in July

I ordered gcms at some point and ran it by a licensed consultant in Canada in 2020 I think who reassured me that it was fine and that I handled the application well and it was all a waiting game.

Complete silence until November 15 GU then another GU one week later

Fast forward to 2021, we got fed up with Nigeria and left for the UK (masters for spouse) in September

April 2022 came with ADR for PC, schedule a, travel history, remeds, new passports and rprf which I already paid in October 2019

Adr submitted 28th April

Adr for uk police certificate after few days
Meds passed May 7
Submitted UK police certificate on Friday the 13th of May
Sent an email yesterday at 8:06pm saying I don upload o, how far na?
PPR came at 8:46 pm

Less than an hour later

Thank you everyone that has contributed to this thread. I started from the days of newmum and ifeoma and so many others that are no longer active.

I pray IRCC releases everyone waiting soon

It will end in praise. You'll see!

Order gcms notes to know what's happening too

May you have peace!

Hello,

I love your story. Congratulations. I'm also doing self employed proof of work experience. Because I'm a blogger, I choose Noc 0124. I worked for two companies but it was writing gigs, so I used noc 5121. I think my situation is similar to yours. How did you choose the right Noc?

.....but one week never reach nau........

https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled#107239683

1. As you say one can combine NOCs and list them all in one's profile.....however one NOC must be the primary NOC. There is only space for one primary NOC. Page 1 has the conditions that this primary NOC must fulfill.

2. Educational background (what you studied) has nothing to do with NOC. The education requirements written under the NOC also don’t matter for IRCC's purposes.

#StudyPage1

Thank you very much. I appreciate your answers. I understand it much better now.

What's the credential you evaluated and what's your simulated CRS score? Asking this because you mentioned that your agent advised you to get another degree.

If your answer to the above question is BSc or equivalent, please take ednut1's advise and face the task of increasing your CRS.

I understand what you mean. I have a Bsc. and my score is 438. I am currently working towards boosting it by getting a job offer.

Referrals from your customers will help. I remember one PPR story in a previous part on this thread of a self-employed dude who repaired computers at Computer Village (?). If I remember correctly, he used references from his customers. Sadly, I can't remember the moniker or the part but if you've got a few hours to spare, why not skim through all the PPR's linked on page 1 of previous threads for that story because it might be relevant to your experience? I mean, what's a few more hours in this journey going to cost you? I'd suggest you focus on parts 2 - 7. Good luck.

Thank you. I've gone through all the experiences of those who used self employed proof of work experience. I know what I need to do now.

@GraciousWords

So I read the first page extensively and even realized that I can also combine NOC. I think I can also use NOC 5121 since I have been doing content writing for years, and even worked briefly as a sports writer with a popular Nigerian media company. I'm opening the profile tomorrow, is there a place where I can select two NOC (0124, and 5121) from two different skills (skill 0 and A) while signing up?

However, my concern is the educational background requirements. I studied human physiology, which literally can't be practiced in Nigeria. I went here noc.esdc.gc.ca and went through each NOC requirements. I sometimes see a degree in marketing as usually required. So is the educational background important when it comes to choosing an NOC, I just need to clarify?

Please.

Two things:

1. I be correct efiko, I reason am say as I fit read nau, who be agent. By God's grace and mercy, my ITK attitude has been working for me even though IRCC are sitting on my PPR smiley My personal opinion is that agents are unnecessary (especially when you consider that it is your life and future at stake). Others have used them successfully though.

2. You have not read page 1. When you read it, some things that the agent has said which are incorrect will be clear to you e.g. you do not need to meet the education requirements of your NOC (please note that I did not say everything the agent said is incorrect e.g. if you have only a BSc then you DO need another degree to max your CRS as he suggests, that 2nd degree does not need to be related to your first though). Study page one and all the links for 1 week and come back here afterwards. I guarantee you will be able to analyse the agent's letter (e.g. it will be crystal clear to you what criteria determines your choice of NOC) and pick the wheat from the chaff....then we sef go put mouth.

PS: no come ask question when you never read page 1 o, we go know.......

Btw what is PDE and why do you have to pay for it?

All the best!

Thanks for your answer. I'll read page one thoroughly and get back to you.

As for the PDE, it's an education degree that they said I can get very fast and add to my WES. But it's expensive.

What documents do you have? You have to have some paper trail, plus you know your blogging and marketing gig better than we do.

IRCC didn't ask for tax (see screenshot), and when they mentioned CAC docs they also said OR (or being the operative word) other docs to show evidence of self employment, so what do you have? Contracts? Pay pal receipts? References from Asian company and friends' companies? Email trail of your writing and how they edited it etc? Pls read that link on page 1 AGAIN, here for ease of reference https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/567#101886861

Also read FAQ 2 which has a list of people who used self employed. Some of the options they used may be available to you. About 10 or so monikers are listed in both links, read them, something will resonate hopefully.

As Miolad said your remote work is still work if you meet the requirements for work experience - read page 1. Do you have the number of hours, full time or part time X 2, were you paid, is the NOC 0, A or B, will the Asian company give you a reference letter? In short..........page 1.

All the best !

Thank you very much. I read the posts from the link you sent. I have some evidence I can use.

You can answer your question yourself chief.

What exactly do you do to earn money? Once you've determined that, do you spend up to 37.5 hours doing it weekly? If YES, it's full-time. If NO, likely part-time.

Also, do you have an offer letter regarding your employment with the Asian coy? If YES, what does it state? (full-time or part-time). Being remote shouldn't matter. Can you get a reference letter from them as proof?

Read page 1 for info on self-employment.

Thank you. I've extensively read on the self-employment proof of work experience. The contract with the Asian company listed me as a third-party content writer.

Also, most of the people who opted for self employed proof of work experience used CAC documents, and tax documents. Thing is... I don't have any. I have work with my friends small business and done short term content marketing gigs for them. On my blog, I've worked with companies to create sponsored post and I was paid via PayPal all the time.

What kind of documents do I need then?

reality check . Express entry is not a quick process it can take between 6months to 2 years. If you need to leave the country asap go apply for uk study visa. Most employers will not get back to you because they don’t wanna incur costs of hiring immigration lawyers to process visa and no guarantees it wont take years. There are many available PRs and students in Canada so they will go for those ones who can resume the next day, not someone thousand of miles away who it may take a year to land in Canada. Unless you are in a critical and scarce occupations like medical field, tech, logistics and supply chain. It’s almost impossible to get a job offer with pr or study permit.

Yes I know it's going to take time. I just thought the FSW program will speed things up.

Just answer my questions on what I should include as my work experience. The only stable secular job I have is the writing gig with the Asian company (since 2019) and it's remote. Should I say part-time or?

Apart from that, it's just my blogs. I don't earn enough to use self-employed.

Hello guys

I just got my WES done and IELTS result. I'm planning to open my Express Entry profile today. However, I need guidance and advice so I don't encounter any problems. There are a coupleof things I'm worried about.

First, is about work experience. I'm a blogger. I have been blogging for almost six years, and I have some three successful blogs, which I normally add to my CV. I have done some freelance digital marketing gigs for companies and I also add them to my CV. The only secular job I have is as a content writer for a company in Asia (I don't know if to call it part time or..) I'm worried about how I will use this as work experience, or if I'm required to submit work documents, then how?

Secondly, is my points, I think I have 400+ points now. But I need a job offer to better my chances. I can work as a digital marketer or as a writer. But they re in two different NOCs, which one should I choose for faster employment chances. I have been applying on Job Bank, but no one has ever replied.

Lastly, I heard FSW is back, what does it mean? And can it make the proces faster because I need to leave as soon as possible. It's crucial.
