hello guys, i was refused uk student visa in september and i intend to apply next month. please i need your help guys.
i will stay with my uncle in london for the duration of my studies, although i paid the full tuition fee and maintenance funds be transfered into my account for the past 28 days.
-what documents will my uncle provide to support my application?
-im abit confused about the 28 days, is it 28 working days or 28 days including weekends?
-do i need a letter stating how i got my maintenance fee? because i havent got a job.
- is it adviseable to pay or for accomodation to avoid another refusal

Sorry about the intial refusal.
You don't have to show any documents from your uncle to support your application.
You should have money in account for 28days consecutive,weekend,public holiday inclusive,first day of the 28 days count make a transaction in yoour account and on the last day after the completion make a transaction also to show closing balance date and amount,then print.

I submitted my application on 13th november and i got a notification on my teleperformance account that it was delivered to UKVI on 14th. since then, i didnt get any update on my teleperformance account neither did i get any email saying the visa application has been considered or a decision has been made. I just checked my teleperformance account now and it has updated to 'Dispatch by Courier. Your passport was dispatched by courier on 25/11/2014 to the address you provided and should be with you soon". [b][/b]This is really scary because I know that normally, if the visa is approved, I should get an approval email. Does this mean that it was refused?

Met a guy today,he shouted when he checked his passport and saw visa was issued,asked him why,he said got no mail from UKVI just the one from teleperformance.so chill its not a clear case of refusal nor approval,hope for the best.

Time difference don finish me. I submitted my visa form online with the hope the date was 25th I forgot UK is 1hr behind us. My intention was to print the form and my bank statement today being 25th and also Oando exchange rate. Now literally it means I submitted the form on 24th and now can I print the bank statement and the exchange rate today 25th. Is this a big problem?

Same thing happened to me,like me I see you have more than the required fund in your account from your previous messages.
What I did was print my statement and also used same date for oanda print out.its not an issue at all,just be certain you show minimum 28days when printing statement.best of luck

You submit documents listed in your CAS,you have to discuss with your school to accept the Waec in lieu of English proficiency test.

I got an admission into university of westminster. I just received an email from them on monday evening stating that I got the half tuition scholarship. I've paid the other half today.

However, friday 19th december would be the 28th day that I have had the maintenance funds.
Would I still be able to apply and get a visa before the resumption date of 5th january?

To add to @DonOms's reply even if your visa is issued in one week you need extra days for the passport to arrive at the VAC,got my approval email Wednesday,today Friday I have not received a mail from teleperformance yet.best you ask for 1-2 weeks extra from your uni.

Thanks but what do you mean by antics at the airport. This is my first international flight don't really know how to rigmarole yet. So is it hundred percent doable as in have you done it before and which airline? I'm looking at British Airways to Glasgow.

This is the problem,there should be nothing like first time traveller,as long as you meet the conditions to fly no airline has the right to delay you.ticket validity is one calendar year so since your visa is valid for more than the validity you have no problem,lots of student do travel on one way tickets,just don't shake at the nigerian airport they will want to say so many rubbish to make u part with some cash,you are a student be firm and don't bulge.It is 100% do able

Yes you can book one way ticket if your course of study is going to be longer than ticket validity which is one year.Dont give in to the antics at the airport here in Nigeria,I am most certain you won't have any issue in the UK point of entry.@worry356 you just like scaring people.

You should pay money into the account today or tomorrow and print,print from the day the total money hit your dad's account to either today or tomorow.reason you should pay money in before printing is to show closing balance date if no transaction happened in the account.35 days statement is ok just show the money was in the account for 28 days minimum.

Since you have the appointment on the 1st why don't you either pick 2nd or 3rd as the day u submit,I think Abuja also gives TB certificate same day,but just to be on the safe side 3rd will be fine,pick early morning appointment you can travel back to PH after you submit.

You will get result same day or latest next day if the X-Ray is clear and sputum test ain't required.like me I did my TB test before paying for my fees,had to be double sure all was clear.no worries bro your X-ray will be clear by his grace.

To make things clearer for the ECO,there should be a transaction on the day you want as your start of 28days count and also on last day before u print to show closing balance date,date of closing balance should not be more than 31 days before u apply.

hi everyone, I just got my CAS for middlesex university and the total amount needed is £15880 and I have £15909 although in pounds and naira in my own accounts, my fear is that d last bit of the money came in naira on the 14th of November and if i am 2 wait for the consecutive 28days i should be applying for my visa on the 16th of december and school resumes on the 19th of january. If visa is granted would i b late for resumption bcoz the school says if i am not on ground by the 19th i will have to defer. i want to know if i am on track.

It's possible,all visas are now issued in Nigeria so I guess this limits wait time,but taking into consideration the holidays in December and January,this takes off about 4 days from your total days.my visa was issued in a week so hope for the best and all will work out fine.

If you have been away from education for a long time,say 5years up you can include letter from employer or detailed write up stating what you have been doing.only include documents stated in your CAS,if the HOD reference letter ain't stated then no need including.

Your application has been approved and the visa has been issued. We aim to return passports to the VAC within 2 working days. You can check the location of your passport at www.tpcontact.co.uk.

@worry, do you mean I can print a statement today but count 28days backwards starting from yesterday. Please know that I just made the online visa payment and my appointment date is on 25. Today is officially my application date.

The money has to be in your account for a consecutive 28 days minimum,you can print 30 days statement.just make sure on the first days of your count there is a transaction showing full amount in your account and also on the last day before you print deposit little amount to show closing balance and date so it will be clear to the ECO.you can pay little money in your account today and print tomorow.

How much is the last price,can it be sold for 2.5m

pls people i want to why London met has update me concerning my application for undergraduate jan. intake I submitted my application last three week and am yet to receive any update about my application, though I applied through UKEAS Ikeja. pls why London met application and processing took so long, even sent me an e mail.

Send a mail to the international office,also call the international office,3 weeks is too long not to receive a mail from them.

My Answer-all the highly ranked universities in Nigeria I did research on,don't have the course,the one that has a slightly close course do not have same module as the university I intend studying in the UK.
Also there is no text book answer to the questions,I just answered the best way I can and state facts where applicable.

How did I get to know about the uni.
How did I come to the decision to study at the uni.
When did I apply.
When did I get my offer letter and when did I send my documents over.
When did I pay my fees.
Where do I hope to live in the uk.
How will I commute to school.
Location of my campus and how will I arrive there.
Hope this helps someone.
Is there no university in nigeria where I can study the same course.
