Biafra is not a country for Igbo people. Why would we name a country for many tribes an Igbo word? What about Edo people, Igala people etc. Please read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biafra

It's just like how many muslims name themselves Arab names. Is Muhammed or Farooq an African name?

Exactly. At a certain point we need to start encouraging players abroad to play for NAIJA. why are they wasting their time playing for these countries?

Why are black players are playing for England anyway? Bukayo Saka (18 yr old Yoruba boy who missed crucial penalty against Italy) shouldn't be playing for England... should be playing for NIGERIA his parents home country.

Isn't it obvious? Kidnapping is the way that the goverment legally FUNDS terrorism. Why else would you pay #200 million naira for 3 children?
I mean at a certain point we need to say that we AREN"T going to pay for these children beause we are basically funding terrorism with oil money!

Lets be honest. Girls dont like virgin boys - They like experienced boys and make fun of virgins. Meanwhile men prefer virgin girls but need to practice with someone before they can get a virgin girl, & keep her. (men always pressure gf for sex cheesy) Who shall win this battle of the sexes?

Politics / Re: The Big Question? by paxx: 4:38pm On Jul 06, 2021
So the people who are DEFENDING are the ones that have nothing to lose, Vietnam was defending itself from the invaders the United States. Same thing with Northern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria. The vast majority of people who live in the Southern Nigeria are Igbo, Yoruba, Edo etc. The Army which is based in the North would have to INVADE the south.

Also Israel supports Biafra, and the U.S's strongest allies are Israel. Who would fight harder the Southerners defending their ancestral land or invaders?

Alvelt14:

Wars are fought with weapons not just people, if war break out the North will win because
-they will be fighting with the name Nigeria and the southern will be the secessionist, likelihood of support from international bodies, do u think the top countries care about us? No but they are benefiting from the country Nigeria
-Even without the foreign bodies, resources are up north, they have control over the army, Air Force, the ranked officers are from the north
-using Vietnam as a case study is wrong, the only reason United state withdrew their military operations is simply because they have nothing to gain and the concern of their citizens at home. In this case the northern have everything to gain and everything to lose.
Politics / Re: The Big Question? by paxx: 4:00pm On Jul 06, 2021
All of the biggest cities in Nigeria are in the south, the oil is in the south, the business men and the top universities are in the south. Are you kidding me? Why would a United south lose against the north?

The same reason why the superpower U.S lost the war in Vietnam is the same reason why the North will lose against the South. You can fight soldiers but you can't fight an entire group of people willing to defend their lands.

The Fulani soldiers dont have the same motivations as the Yorubas, Igbos, and other tribes DEFENDING their ancestral lands.

Crime / Some 150 Students Missing After Gunmen Raid Kaduna State School by paxx: 12:50pm On Jul 06, 2021
https://www.reuters.com/world/africa/some-150-students-missing-after-attack-nigeria-school-parent-administrator-2021-07-05/
About 150 students are missing after armed men raided a boarding school in Nigeria's Kaduna state, a parent and an administrator said on Monday, and police said they were in hot pursuit alongside military personnel.

The attack on the Bethel Baptist High School is the 10th mass school kidnapping since December in northwest Nigeria, which authorities have attributed to armed bandits seeking ransom payments.

Dozens of distraught parents gathered at the school compound, some weeping and crying out, standing in groups awaiting news. Discarded sandals lay strewn nearby. Dormitories containing metal bunk beds and cupboards were deserted.

"May God take away their tears and the suffering that they will face in the hands of the kidnappers," said a woman pointing at a hole in the school's perimeter where the attackers entered.
His voice breaking, parent John Evans said he had recently told his daughter that God would protect her while she studied at the school.

"Just this morning at about 6, I received a phone call that they have entered the school...kidnappers, that all our children are packed (taken), including my daughter," he said. "We rushed down here, we confirmed that they are all packed."

Police said gunmen shooting wildly attacked overnight and overpowered the school's security guards, taking an unspecified number of students into a nearby forest. A police statement said 26 people including a female teacher had been rescued.

It been more a month now since Nigeria official suspended popular micro blogging platform Twitter because they felt the platform was becoming 'recruiting ground for folks who want to undermine Nigerian corporate existence'.

I don't know what the officials were thinking perhaps may be they thought twitter will 'beg' or seek some sort of accommodation but whatever it is, it sure ain't working and as an American if there is one thing we don't do - we don't prostrate ourselves to any foreign powers let alone a country that relies deeply on us and our Allies before they breathe.

Now in a healthy democracy there has to be some form of checks and balances which in Nigeria's case is the National Assembly but i don't think the folks who are law makers are aware of their job description, a democratically elected president behaving like a dictator and decided one day to shut down a vital means of communication because the company decided to do what they are supose to do.

What happens to the rule of law, human right and freedom of speech ??

Well our current leaders believe that Nigeria should be under Sharia Law OR they just are power hungry/greedy so they don't care about human rights. 70% want Nigeria to become an Islamic Republic where the only laws are Allah, and the remaining 30% just care about oil money.

So if ur poor/christian/not Fulani, you dont really have human rights

Politics / Re: Yoruba APC Members: What's Your Plan-b When A Fulani Wins The 2023 Ticket? by paxx: 12:47pm On Jul 04, 2021
Fake news. Do you really think that Igbos would vote for an Igbo Vice President and a Fulani President HAHAHA They want their OWN country fool What part of BIAFRA do you not understand?
AldrichAmes:
P.S: Presidential Ticket.

…You would be an idiot not to see what’s going on. All the excessive borrowing, looting and Fulanis heading sensitive/juicy positions are for a reason. You need a lot of money and being in strategic position of power to force your will on everyone in a country like Nigeria hence Fulanis were so scared under GEJ with how Igbos were able to hijack his government. They were of the belief that Igbos had money/power to declare war on them.

…Almost all Fulani politicians are crossing from PDP to APC thus weakening the opposition party (Nigeria is almost a one-party state now). And you’d be living in fool’s paradise if you think they’re doing it to push a pro-Yoruba agenda in 2023 and set the stage for a Yoruba president.

…Fulani youths are armed to the teeth and the smallest weapon they carry is AK-47 (a lot of them are being trained in military combat). They also have access thousands of fighting forces in Niger, Chad, Mali and Northern Cameroon. Are they doing this for a Yoruba agenda? cheesy

When Yoruba elders in this government talk about how Yoruba have invested a lot in Nigeria; they’re talking about the billions of Lagos money that was used to bankroll Buhari’s presidential ambition. They had to match GEJ’s spending power which came from when oil prices were at their peak and only Lagos’ money under Tinubu could match it. But they’re yet to get half of that money back as Buhari became a turncoat after he became president and his agenda is solely a Fulani agenda. And the only way they can get that money back is for a Yoruba to become president in 2023.

Now, Fulanis really don’t need Yoruba to get another Fulani into power in 2023. They have always had an unspoken alliance with Igbo elites. And they can kill 50million today but once they pick an Igbo vice, most Igbos will vote for them. It happened after the Igbo pogroms in the North in the 50s with NPC and NCNC. It also happened after the civil war when millions were killed but that didn’t stop Igbos from voting for the North and his Igbo vice. And it will happen again. They also have another joker they can play in 2023 with Nnamdi Kanu; all they need to do hold him till next year before cutting a deal with him.

So it begs the question: when neither Tinubu, Fashola, Fayemi nor Osibanjo get the APC ticket for 2023; what’s your plan-b? Are you going to unleash MC Oluomo and his fellow jokers who’re more into theatrics than combat against AK-47 carrying Fulanis? Or are you going to start screaming Yoruba Nation then?

What is the average salary someone can have to sustain themselves in Lagos? What about Port Harcourt?

Whats the equivalent of making "six figures" in the west? (basically the salary that most people aspire to have, and if u have it you are considered upper middle class)

People still claim that Fulani face discrmination pass Igbo and other tribes LOL

Guyman02:
Do you know that Fulanis are only 6% of Nigerian population and they hold more than 50% of political appointments at Federal level.

They are the Emirs of the Hausa and Nupe tribes who are 35% of Nigeria population and Emir of a major Yoruba garrison city of Ilorin?

The only group that the Fulanis have little respect in Nigeria are the Igbos, even Sardauna was so scared that he said he would rather employ an expatriate than an Igbo who will become boss over his people.
Many tribes in Nigeria have realised that they have not been overrun because of the sacrifices of the stubborn Igbos and are now afraid that if the Igbos leave Nigeria they would be more vulnerable.

Why do we have the sudden clamour by Fulani elders that Buhari should allow Igbos to leave Nigeria? Because it's very obvious that they can never succeed in their plans as long as Igbos are part of Nigeria.

Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB made so much noise about RUGA that Nigerians realised the scheme by the Buhari led Fulani cabal to use it to resettle his cousins from other countries.

Even Seun Osewa makes plenty money from traffic on Nairaland daily just by posting stories about Nnamdi Kanu which usually gets to page 20.
