This one is another Chinedu in the making.. he left his father side (Yoruba) to open school to teach language of his mother side (Igbo) in a Yoruba State (Lagos)..

Watch all inter-tribal marriages between Yorubas and Igbos.. if the husband is Yoruba, the wife (Igbo) will make it a duty to teach the kids Igbo language and give them Igbo names in addition to their Yoruba names, then the docile Yoruba men will be there lost and helpless.
But let it be Igbo man that married Yoruba woman.. the Igbo man will make sure the kids bear only Igbo names and identify as Igbo. Same thing with Hausas.

I don't know why Yorubas are like that.. too dull, docile infact all the words to qualify weak can be ascribed to our men. Shioor!

Why are you making this tribal. Isn't it called MOTHER TONGUE. Everyone knows kids tend to speak their mother's language and tend to be close to mom since dad tend to work hence the term MOTHER TONGUE.

Preferito:
I watched the documentary and I didn't feel good when he said that his mum always frown at them whenever they try to speak Yoruba at home but she was cool with them speaking Igbo. His father is Yoruba while his mother is Igbo. But that doesn't mean that she should shield them from learning their father's culture.

The father was upset when the mom would teach Igbo also. Inter tribal marriages should teach kids both languages and cultures. Inter tribal marriages are the key to ONE NIGERIA smiley <3

Guys please dont make this tribal. Everyone knows kids tend to speak their mother's language and tend to be close to mom hence the term MOTHER TONGUE.

If this is ur argument then the nnpcl and all multi national oil companies also deserves to have all their headquarters in their core operational base in the niger delta

That will never happen. So keep on yapping.

Can they in the same spirit move nnpc and other oil related companies to the Niger delta....cos that's where the traffic( oil) is...until then ....

You know they will NEVER do that.

In fact they would rather Nigeria burn down than to do that

See MOST military don't rush to admit these things even if it seems obvious at first..... They will thoroughly investigate before concluding for 2 reasons
1. So innocent won't be punished
2. Offender don't go unpunished.

And it's a psychological win for the terrorists if the army is painted in bad light that's why military usually withhold or deny such information that's negative.

IDF was forced to me mentioning Casualties figures in Gaza because IDF don't want to ceasefire and is also denying suffering heavy casualties and at the same time gagging doctor in public hospitals .....the Israeli media seeing dead and wounded stream into Israel daily couldn't keep quiet anymore so IDF was forced to be announcing casualties even though the figures are heavily supressed

Imagine a child is failing in school. He doesnt want his parents to be upset because his parents friends children are passing so he lies to them that he is actually passing but his teacher hates him.
Then the child continues to fail in school for the next 10 years.
Is the child helping the parents or is he destroying himself?

Please what's going on in the middle belt.

Me I don't think its ethnic cleansing.

Why would an ethnic group be so lame to be allowing strangers to their lands destroy them.
It's waaay beyond ethnic cleansing....it has economic connotation and indigenes of fhe area that has mineral deposits are usually the first to lay claim of entitlement. Sometimes Their traditional rulers sell mining rights to these people , sometimes they have business disagreement which leads to ugly attacks at times.
The latest plateau attacks in December was carried out by criminals who want to have access to the minefields .
Crosscheck all I've said

All I know is, whatever is going on there hasn't been a solution and people would rather hide it and pretend it's not going on then address it because then they would have to fix it.

Similar to how witnesses claimed that a nigerian army helicopter was shot down in Niger state but nigerian goverment was quick to say it was a crash.

Only they know what they are benefitting by spinning the story. But again you have to fix the issue instead of just hiding it because the truth will come out eventually

The first goal is to pretend it didn't happen.
The second goal is to say it was a mistake by someone they can throw off the bus

They will never admit that it was done by you know what. Because if they do, then people will expect them to do something to stop it from happening again.

dey play.

think about it? how long did they deny what was going on in the middle belt? and to this day it still hasn't been solved. They would rather hide it, then allow it to be public and then people will want them to fix it.

This is serious. I am sure the government is doing everything at this point to spin the narrative instead of doing thorough investigation to ascertain the cause of this tragedy and how to prevent recurrence

we igbos love Amala. and we dont want to claim it. we know how to enjoy other peoples culture without claiming it. unlike some people who cant stand the fact that igbos invented egusi.

I was buttressing your point. But the fact remains speaking the language does NOT make them Igbo. And they cannot be forced to be Igbo because they speak the language.

did anybody force fubara to learn fluent igbo better than many native speakers? tongue u guys lack understanding, stay out of our business

Lol,another hot shot fired at the Igbos ! I had actually wanted to ask here if Fubara was an Ijaw or Igbo man because the igbos have not allowed us to rest ever since he was sworn in as the governor of Rivers State ! The noise was just too much;"Fubara is Igbo","Rivers belongs to Igbo","everybody is Igbo",blah, blah, blah ! The next agenda is likely to be : Netanyahu of Israel is Igbo, lol, very insecure people from villages !

Shame, may we not come from a tribe which nobody wants to identify with ! Fubara is Ijaw; he said it himself. All the "attache by force" people should, please, allow us to rest !

we igbos love fubara. WHY IS THAT A PROBLEM FOR U??

Pls gain education not being a nuisance.
