Politics / Re: 5 of the Worlds Fastest Growing Cities are in Middle Belt/South Nigeria by paxx: 8:17pm On Nov 20, 2023 |
PoliteActivist: All the lists come to the same opinion, I dont really see what ur issue is. If you're angry that Lagos isnt in the list, idk what your problem is. Lagos has 20 million people, do you really want to see a population growth of 25% in a city that MASSIVE? You should be happy that other cities are also growing in Nigeria. Chineke. Imagine if only nyc existed, would the United States be what it is? You need more than one city in a country.and it cant all be in the same area. If you are from Lagos, you need to stop b4 other nigerians get tired of u guys and if ur from the north, just know this. Independent organizations and businesses dont just agree with whatever Nigeria census comes out with. they need to make money, so they have to do research so they dont LOSE money Imagine if they want to release a product in an area because nigeria census says there is 4 million people there and then they find out it's only 1 million. Thats a lot of lost money, so they have to do their own research |

Chineke Bless Nigeria and her people. EDIT: I dont agree with this list, because even though Nnewi and Onitsha are 2 separate cities, they are in the same metropolitan, so I dont see the point in separating them. Its like saying Ikoyi is separate from Lagos

- Economic Collaboration and Prosperity: Let's talk about how teaming up with Fulani herdsmen can be a game-changer. Imagine combining the Yoruba knack for business with the Fulani expertise in cattle rearing. This partnership could spark new ventures and beef up our local economy. It's a perfect match for the Yoruba entrepreneurial spirit and our love for innovation. - Cultural Harmony and Enrichment: The Fulani, known for their rich culture, mingling with the culturally diverse Yoruba community, could create a beautiful tapestry of traditions. This would elevate Lagos's status as a cultural hub, resonating with the Yoruba's deep appreciation for art, music, and cultural variety. - Agricultural Innovation and Food Security: By blending Fulani's animal husbandry skills with Yoruba farming techniques, we could revolutionize agriculture. This would lead to better livestock management and increased food production, in line with the Yoruba focus on agricultural progress and sustainability. - Unity in Diversity: Welcoming the Fulani herdsmen echoes the Yoruba belief in ‘Omoluwabi’ - character and integrity. It underscores values like tolerance, hospitality, and unity in diversity, which are cornerstones of Yoruba culture. - Educational Exchange and Skill Development: Sharing knowledge and skills between Yorubas and Fulanis could lead to educational advancements and skill development in areas like veterinary science and sustainable farming. This aligns well with the Yoruba emphasis on education and continuous learning. 5. Promoting Islamic Understanding and Peace: Embracing the predominantly Muslim Fulani reflects the Yoruba values of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence. It's a testament to our respect for religious diversity, a principle deeply rooted in Yoruba culture. 6 Likes 1 Share |

immortalcrown: Fake statistics. The richest region in Nigeria is the NW, NE, followed by the SW and then the SE. With Sokoto being the cultural capital of Nigeria, and Kano being the commercial hub of Nigeria. Meanwhile cities like Katskina and Kaduna are growing FAST |

kestolove95: It needs neither. The system should be expanded due to its success. Kano is the largest city in nigeria. After the next census, you will see. I think you guys need to start respecting whats going on in the North West and North East. |

immortalcrown: 2. **Character Development**: The system is believed to instill humility, resilience, and a strong work ethic in students. The challenging conditions, including the practice of alms begging, are seen as preparations for the hardships of life. One potential gain from the system. No wonder Obi supporters lack humility |

Bendeco2020: Adaptability and Flexibility/ Early Life Skills Development: Almajirai often have to fend for themselves from a young age, learning how to manage basic needs and navigate the challenges of daily life. This early exposure to real-world situations develops practical skills and resilience. I believe that this is a good benefit that South and Middle Belt should look at, and try to learn from. |

Catapault: The Gaza people do not want freedom. They want Israel to no longer exist. Thats why they keep refusing the TWO STATE SOLUTION deals. They won't even go to the negotiation table. I like most Igbos, SAUDI ARABIA and the UN support a two state solution. But the Gaza people want the entire region, are not willing to negotiate. My question is, how am I supposed to support someone who won't even go to the negotiation table. 3 Likes |
