Thanks for the link.

It's Diploma not Advance I think. Diploma in Cybersecurity Specialist co op.

https://www.torontosom.ca/admissions/important-dates

What do you see about it sir...

Frankrobbn1:

In order not to detail the thread with constant repetitive answers please check my post earlier this year for THE LIST OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR A SUCCESSFUL STUDY VISA APPLICATION.

The Cyber security(1yr. Co-op) at Toronto school of management is it a post graduate diploma or an advanced diploma?, Assuming it's a PGD/C and you finished with a 2.2, then your chances of securing a Canadian TRV are good.

It will end in praise

The op is actually saying that his client was refused based on purpose of visit and home ties. He only paraphrased the refusal reason.

@Truthshurts, can you kindly share a detailed profile of your clients previous study visa application and the breakdown of the list of documents you submitted for your clients application. So we can pick it up from there and know how best to advice you for a successful application.

It will end in praises

The situation of Sango Idiroko road of Ogun state is critical. This is an international road leading to Benin Republic. If the borders are closed for goods, must people also be deprived of movement?
Please, those that are concerned should come to aid.

DanMisla:
Like @BootyliciousHon, 600pts finally came though.

Ontario nominated me last week (FSSW), I got ITA on Wed and submitted yesterday. Hopefully, I didn't miss anything important.
And so, the long wait's begun.

Thanks to everyone for your help. Happy Easter holidays!

Hi...congratulations.
Please what do you mean here:

Just as most people in AVO had thought especially PNP guys, that they couldn’t have gone through the long route (PNP...lots of IELTS etc) to have to a long wait at the

And which PNP did you apply

IAMCOMING:
It is PPR (in Nairaland slang)

My PPR Story

TIMELINE
ITA: July 25th, 2018
AOR: 30th July, 2018
MEP: 21st August, 2018
PPR: 10th April, 2019
My Birthday: 11 April

Thank you Lord …. I am so relieved and grateful to God for the release from AVO!!!!!*edited*

I wish I can write so succinctly as the likes of @newmum, @tojued et al and my hubby of course…I am grateful and relieved at last to be posting this write up that I whipped up on the 28 February 2019 after reading @tojued PPR story.

Our journey started way back in 2014 when my boss said to me ‘I think you guys (me and hubby) should try this Canada thing, I am not chasing you away o’. Incidentally someone we know in our church spoke about it with us saying his family is in Canada and he will join them soon. He sent some documents and links to read up about saying we can do the application by ourselves.

I looked through the documents and links he sent, and just thought this seems like plenty work and money o, Nigeria no chase us biko. We discarded the thought and process and went on with our lives.

Fast forward to 2016, after having my two children I thought let me pursue my masters and also give my children a better and sane living environment while hubby come visiting because we assumed that the PR process was out of our league since I no gree get my masters , I dey chase man and to born … To cut the long story short so I wouldn’t bore you guys the study route didn’t work out after using an agent and spending some cool cash that could have helped in the EE process.

By 2017 we re-visited the EE process and I took my time to study the process with the help of nairaland (see I be senior here since the part 2 **sigh**. But thanks God ‘oja sope las las’). We planned to go through Ontario PNP if the score does not come down again to 413 which our score would be if we both max out IELTS.

So I took my IELTS in May 2017 (L -8.5, R – 7.0, W – 7.0 , S -7.5)
Got my ECA in September 2017
Hubby maxed his IELTS in January 2018 – Can’t remember the exact scores
CRS score – 407 in January 2018

So we updated our EE profile to wait for Ontario that never came. By March I was already so disappointed and worried that would this Canada dream ever come true. Because I know by April our score will come to 402
I started scouting for other PNPs we could apply to and found Morden Manitoba. Applied and got invited for interview, had the interview in April while waiting for their feedback. NS opened on 28 April 2018, after almost 7 hours of trying we were able to submit our application (this was the highlight of our year)
Got nominated in July 2018 after over 2 month wait, during the wait got a positive response from Morden for an explorative visit but discarded it.

Nominated – 17 July 2018
Medicals – 23 July 2018
AOR – 30 July 2018 (made sure to submit to avoid biometrics)
MEP - 21 August 2018
THEN THE DEAFENING SILENCE!!!!

Just as most people in AVO had thought especially PNP guys, that they couldn’t have gone through the long route (PNP...lots of IELTS etc) to have to a long wait at the federal level again . I prayed for and believed for a speedy process and that by Dec 2018 everything would have be completed cool cool.

My gratitude to God is mainly on the fact that he kept us sane through the waiting period.

Thanks to this thread on Nairaland….I learnt 70% of what I know about the express entry on this thread. It wasn’t an easy journey but it has ended well.

So for those still at one stage or the other, keep faith alive, it will surely happen.

In the other news, we are selling our stuff at giveaway prices, if you are in Lagos and looking to buy something in that regards please pm.

Thank you guys for reading! (Typed on the 28th February, continued on 04 March 2019 in faith and finished 11 April 2019)

OK...will tell him to consider ielts again.
On the BCS, by the time he evaluates it he will be 35yrs.(loss of points).
And if he do all u suggest, he may not meet 440...Do u think there is more more chance for point less than 440 (federal) than PNP.
Are there hopes for 400-420?
He is married to an ND holder.
Really appreciate your candid advice... My cousin should be on this forum soon too.
Thanks for all time and happy born day in arrears

Ifeoma77:

First of all, he needs to rewrite IELTS and get 8 in listening, that will shoot up his CRS to above 400.
Then he needs something else to support that BSc. BSc alone won't give enough points to get ITA. Since he is an IT person, he should consider doing the BCS certificate in IT and then evaluate it with WES to get 2 or more certificates.
Doing these two things is enough for him to get high enough scores for ITA.
Is he married? Another option is to check if the spouse can be the PA.
PS. Hope the relative is a sibling not Aunt/uncle.

However, if he insists on following the PNP road, he can choose pretty much any province but he should consider going for OINP, jobsin IT are plentier in Ontario

Oh yes, I used WES. Thanks for the info...am sorry, I still more questions: I found out that Jos is the only centre in Nigeria... Is it true? If exam is Sept. And result is Dec., when is the registration? Like how long from date of registration? Any exam centre in South West?
Thanks

adenikeO:
If you take the BCS exam in September, the result will be out in December. Once you get your result, you can add another credential, I am assuming you used WES for your ECA and you'll have to pay an extra 100 Canadian dollars for that.

Once that is done, you can then email BCS to send your Certificate and Transcript to WES. If you want to save some money you can send your certificate yourself via hellofax but you'll have to wait to get your certificate from the nearest post office close to the residential location indicated on the BCS application form.

It shouldn't take more than a month after you've sent your documents to WES.

Please, do u think BCS is OK for me too, I have a BSc, my ECA is ready, need to increase points, can i still evaluate BCS, like how long did it take u?

adenikeO:
Good evening everyone, For those that want to increase their CRS points using BCS (Certificate in IT) examination, I have good news for you.

My evaluation with WES finally came out today, see screenshot below. smiley

I also want to use this opportunity to thank @kemzyebony for drawing my attention to a post here about the BCS exam sometime last year. Trust me I was ready to go to NOUN or study for ACCA even though I don't have any background in accounting, lol.

See link below to join the BCS(Certificate in IT) Whatsapp group for more info.

OK...congratulations again. Thanks for the reply

Adunnee:

Hmmm! I've been battling with listening, after having 7.5 in two attempts, I started paying more attention by concentrating on the discussion and following the conversation.

For the other sections, I didn't have difficulties at all.

Ultimately, God made it possible.

I used ieltsup.com to study for this last exam.

Adunnee:

When I saw the result, I started stooling.

How did you people cope when you received the golden mail?

Am yet to write Ielts, but should be around 400, am 34 already. ECA completed

Ifeoma77:

What is your CRS if you use the older age? If it's still high, then don't worry, just write LOE. Shikenan
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by peek(f): 5:08pm On Mar 19, 2019
Ifeoma77:

Since you know you had that issue with WAEC, you should not have used WES.
Anyway, how significant is the difference? Assuming you use the WAEC age, how much lower will CRS drop? If she still has a comfortable CRS score with the WAEC age then I think you should just write LOE stating that WAEC made a mistake.
If using the WAEC age drops CRS too low for ITA, consider doing fresh ECA with ICES/IQAS/CES

Ify, abeg I have similar issue.
My ECA(WES) is almost done. Actually I didn't know of the WES and WAEC, otherwise I would have not use WES. My age in WAEC is 2 years more than degree and international passport. Degree and IP are same age. From who you quote here, it seems my age may come twice on ECA....am the PA. How do I go about notary public? What is your advice abeg.
