My brother the answer is no, even if you scores 300 in jamb and same in putme with a good 'O' level results still you won't secure an admission in some Nigerian universities. I am a victim of this injustice in 2017 when I made an excellent scores in both exams but A.B.U Zaria failed to offer me the merited admission. In this country everything even admission has been politicized and compromised, oh! my God we need a remedy. |

I salute your courage dear, let's say no to abortion...who knows the boy might grow to be the Steve Jobs of Nigeria. And to our girls if you know you can't withstand the pains and shame that will last for nine months then better don't spread your legs to that so called boyfriend who might not even care even if you die in the process of abortion. |

Mine is a heartbreaking experience, I merited a first list admission into A.b.u Zaria with my good scores in Utme and putme. But alas the school senate denied me the admission for a reason best known to them .I tried all I can but since I have no one at the top all my hopes were dashed to a rock. Today I encouraged myself and went back to the school to register yet for 2018 Utme though it's late but thanks to the extension by Jamb. During my registration I met a staff of Iya Abubakar (a computer center in A.b.u Zaria ) who assisted me during 2017 putme registration. He was surprised when he saw me and asked what brought me there. I told him I came to register for Jamb. He said that's not possible, that he saw my name second to the first person in A.b.u Zaria first list before it's was taking to the Senate for consideration. So if I'm to understand him, the Senate unjustly remove my merited admission and traded with it. So Nigeria is this a country we want to build for our future generations? . So if admission can be traded with, then where is the hope of those innocent Nigerians that merited a good job in federal agencies but were denied due to their region or ethnicity . May God have mercy. 3 Likes |

Please Jamb I personally needs clarification on how admission are being offered to the aspiring students. I want to know if Jamb have the moral right to offer an admission to a candidate that meets the compulsory cut off marks of 180 as agreed by the most Nigerian Universities and also meets the cut off marks for his or her chosen course of study. If so then I need more light on the term cathement area which is the case in most Nigerian Universities especially A. B. U the so called Harvard University of Africa . With all due respect Jamb I want to know why Jamb and A. B. U staffs failed to offer me an admission to study political science in the same school though I struggled to merit it by scoring 267 in Utme and putme respectively?. Was it because I'm an Igbo man from Enugu or what??, If truly Nigeria wants Education for all, is that how to encourage education??. So please Jamb under the leadership of Proferssor Ishaq Olayode as a reputed man of integrity you need to look into this malady and bring some sanity in it. Or otherwise I'm so sorry the so called education for all be nothing more than nuisance to our dear country Nigeria. Thanks hope the appropriate authority will give ear and address the problem in our education system. |

SpoiltVirgin:No bro, I disagree with you on these, even if there are those that scored better than I in 2017 Jamb I believe they might have applied for other courses rather than political science. I can prove it with some statistics I obtained from Jamb which shows that many failed to reach the general cut off mark of 180. And again I met some academic and non academic staff of that same A.B.U who assured me that my results merited admission on the first list but alas! only to dash my hopes on a rock.In absence of tribalism 267 can go for political science in any of Nigerian universities. 62 Likes 4 Shares |

If A. B.U is truly a pacesetter in Nigerian academic institutions or Nigerian version of Harvard then kindly educate me Op on the reason why it failed to offer me an admission to study political science in the school despite scoring 267 in jamb and 267 in putme. 42 Likes 4 Shares |

Having scored the average mark of 267 in 2017 utme and 267 in Abu Zaria putme screening exam respectively ,many people suggest that merits is sure since I'm aspiring to study political science in the above named institution. To my greatest surprise, the first batch list which I consider as the merit list has just been released but my name is no where to be found. So please friends what do I do?, should I just fold my hands and wait for second list?... I need an advice please!.. thanks as you make a good suggestions. |
