You are a very sentimental person. Learn to shelf your sentiments when engaging in a public discourse. You are not the only one frustrated about happenings in Naija. Many of us are, even worse than you are. The only difference btw us and your likes is that we have learnt to juxtapose sentiments with fair analogies and underlying causes of issues and not just how they are bloated from the surface.

Yes population is an advantage and disadvantage, i'm glad you said that. So, i hope you do will not deny that there are aspects in which Nigeria has used her large population beneficially as much as our large population is causing harm to us. So, why is it that your likes prefer to augment only our negativities?

You cannot really compare China a communist Nation where things are done by force without the people's opinion to a democratic Nigeria where everyone has a say in aspects like dealing with corruption and other issues. That is terrible analogy.

Talking about restructuring, yes i am very much in support of it.
However, some states in Nigeria have proven to us that with or without restructuring, Nigeria can still work.

Gombe state is not an oil producing state and infact they have one of the lowest internally generated revenue in Nigeria because it is a 'baby' state created in 1996 with no financial or industrial centre, but this state has some of the best roads, health care centres and schools in Nigeria (for their small population). How was this possible??

The Nigerian federal govt does not give a hoot about tourism, but how did Cross river state transform itself to a hub of tourism in west Africa with no oil derivation money??

Look at Lagos state and see the kind of progress it is making, what about Akwa Ibom state (with the former governor)?

The problem with many Nigerians is that we focus on the federal govt too much, forgetting or pardoning our state govts to do whatever they like with the billions of Naira they receive and generate.
What stops our state govts from developing their own electricity (as Lagos and Enugu states are planning on doing)? What stops them from creating their own industries and exporting the products of their own industries?

Nigeria needs restructuring, yes, but even without restructuring, we can still make tremendous progress, but this to a large extent depends on your state govts.

Some fools expect the federal govt to build primary schools for them, they expect the FG to tar their streets or clear their gutters for them. Is that not the height of stupidity?

You are typing too much mate. Get out of the house, you are clearly high on generator fumes

You are just making no sense.
A lot of Jews marry outside their religion. If you want, i can list dozens that i know.

As terribly divided as Sudanese and south Sudanese people were in terms of race, religion and culture, when the country divided, there were many people from interracial, inter ethnic and inter religious homes who were caught up. Same thing with colonial India. There were Hindu and Muslim couples.
When a group of people with different cultures, religion and race have to live together and share the same space and identity, overtime, inter marriage must occur even though it would be of very little percentage unless in a case of slave-master relationship like Colonial America.

Majority of Core-northern Nigerians are die hard muslims who even believe in sharia law, but even at that, cases of interreligious marriages do occur.

If cases like this cannot occur in Kenya, then it shows that Indian Kenyans are only Kenyans by mouth and not by heart. They are still yet to accept the Black Kenyans as their people.

How many of them participate in your local entertainment industry and socialize with your people? How many feature in the local swahili movies, musics and comedy?
You know I am Kenyan Asian, and I am soo Kenyan. Marrying is whoever you want. And about local entertainment I can name a few Eve D Souza, DJ suraj, Fareed Khimani etc. Socialising with people? How do you sell things to people without socialising to them? Trust me you cannot be a Kenyan by mouth, once you are born somewhere you are Kenyan. Bleep off, some are even members of parliament voted in by people. Some even vie for the top job, the presidency. Plus we have not been here for a very long time, 120 years max

So intermarriages proves there is no racism? People tend to marry from their race, ethnicity, tribes etc That's why you have 500 plus tribes in Nigeria. Plus most Indians are Hindus, blacks are mostly Christians and Muslim, religion barrier. Thats why Jewish communities are still alive today, not assimilated. So thats a thick point you are making

Oh yeah and the racists here. You see those whites and Indians. When they go back to their countries of origin, they are called plastic. You are a foreigner to them. A good example is Chris Froome, the 3 time Tour de France champ. The Brits dont like him, they call him "Plastic Brit". He was born in Kenya, and went to school in SA. He represented Kenya for some then switched to represent the UK, it wa a good career switch. British guys feel no connection with him plus he had never set foot to the UK until he became a pro cyclist, in his early 20s. Read his story here
http://www.businessinsider.com/chris-froome-impersonated-official-2016-7?IR=T
"I thought that if I did the Under-23 World Championships in September, in the city of Salzburg, which was definitely in Europe, it might be a giant step towards becoming a professional. Things were bad between the Kenyan Federation and the Safari Simbaz. Asking the Federation to enter me into the race and fund me to get there would be a waste of time. They knew I was on Kinjah's side.
So I sat down and logged on to the Federation email address. Posing as Julius Mwangi, I wrote a short letter to the UCI, informing them that I would like to enter Christopher Froome, one of my country's most promising Under-23 riders, into the World Championships at that grade in the autumn. Thank you.

Are you nuts?
How can Nairobi where 60% of the people live in slums be better than Lagos?

Do you know that the entire Abuja urban area of over 3 million people has no single slum?

Abuja municipality (main Abuja city) is 2 times bigger than your Nairobi city and it has less population.
Do you think Nairobi is more green than Abuja? There are no industries in Abuja, to show you how unpolluted the city is, and gardens are everywhere in Abuja, even on the streets.

Have you heard of Nigeria's Calabar city? Ppl are arrested for littering the city. The city is very very green and well planned as it was once the colonial capital of Nigeria.
Why are you lying mate

How can Nairobi metropolitan area be 4m ppl? In 2009 (8 years ago) it was estimated to be 6.5m ppl, now it must have grown to 8-10million people......

Can you also give proofs to show that Nairobi controls 40% of Kenya's wealth?

As big and powerful as Lagos state is, it only controls abt 20% of Nigeria's wealth.

Nairobi is nothing but an embarrasment!
Nairobi metropolitan area was about 6.5 million people since 2009, which means that by now, it should have grown to 8 million people or more.
PLS KENYANS SHOULD TELL US THE GDP OF THIS LARGE URBAN AREA OF almost 10 million people.

As for those fools telling us lies that Nairobi slum dwellers are less than 1 million people, they should come and explain to us why Nairobi's GDP per capital is so low (lower than the national average of Kenya) despite the city being Kenya's financial centre!

This has clearly shown to the world, the largeness of the poor slum dwelling population of Nairobi who obviously contribute nothing to the GDP of the city, thereby lowering the per capital income of the city (compared to the overall national per capital income).

It's now official that the slum dwellers of Nairobi outnumber the normal city dwellers. J-E-S-U-S!
What a disaster of a so called capital city!

In terms of area, slums occupy less than 6% of the total land mass. You have internet, visit Nairobi using google, then tell me what you see

Kibera alone has 3 million people, what about the other dozens?
Pls, tell that to the birds.

Okay, let's settle it this way.

What is the total GDP of Nairobi? Then we divide it by the 6 million people of Nairobi. If the GDP per capital is below or equal the national average, then it's obvious that half of Nairobi's population live in slums and poverty, but if it is far above the national average, (just like Lagos is far above Nigeria's average), then we know that the poor slum dwellers are not so numerous.

Are you up for this challenge??
3 million cannot fit on that chunk of land. That ]s Kibera

Imagine what would happen in oil prices increase?

But we are no longer depending on that and are now working on industrialization and agricultural revolution.

I can see that you guys are desperate to look for people to share slum status with Kenya, but hell NO!
Naijans dont do slums, we live in houses, and what house does not have toilet facilities? Keep deluding yourself.
