Webmasters / Swishmax: Exported SWF Files Play Upside Down by pojutime(m): 3:38pm On Mar 27, 2006
SwishMax Problem: Hello,
A friend has a problem with the Swishmax application running on his system. When he exports the files to .swf format, the exported movies play upside down. We've tried a number of solutions- uninstall, reinstall, even format (my friend likes experimenting) all to no avail.

I thought it was isolated only to see the same problem on another system somewhere else. Does anybody know what's wrong?

Music/Radio / Re: Kush Music - Are They Still Alive? by pojutime(m): 1:24pm On Mar 27, 2006
I've always liked Kuch too (much to the chagrin of my flatmates at school). My sister was given their cd- The Experience as a birthday gift but I've listened to it a lot more times than she has. Well like somone said, it looks like groups have a timeframe to exist. There are quite a number of them who are no more today. In this case, they were together in school (solid rock) which is how and where they started music. But you know they graduate, start their careers, marry and relocate and its not so easy anymore. I think we shgould make do with what we have- their only release so far and wait till sometime in future when they'll get together to do another album.
cheers.

Highest Number Of Official Cars In Nigeria

I think the battle is between UBA & Zenith. My sister says its Zenith. I think so as well. What do you think?

But I noticed something else: the cars are parked in the offices overnight and during the weekends. Why?

Well in school too, I have 3 flatmates. I used to do the cleaning up and picking and clearing after them all alone for the first 2 years we were together. These guys are lovely guys and they're my first circle of friends but when it comes to tidiness- they are just not there. One of them gives an excuse that his parents sent him to come and read in school while the others beg for me to clean. Initially, i didnt always like ot see the flat dirty, but eventually I stopped cleaning too and they now "gave themselves brain" and startyed getting involved.

All the countries in Europe have their mother tongues as their official languages. Why is it only in Nigeria that we value another man's language more? Until we accept what we have and value it, we cant attain true progress.

Programming / Re: I Need Help With A PHP Script by pojutime(m): 1:43pm On Mar 13, 2006
its not random, its supposed to be sequential. once a file is displayed (for 24 hours), it should move to the next and display it.
Programming / Re: I Need Help With A PHP Script by pojutime(m): 12:54pm On Mar 12, 2006
Hi guys,

Thanks for all the replies.
What i want is quite easy. I wonder why you guys have been unable to understand it. I want to place a link on a page. When a visitor clicks on the page, it will open a pop-up window. QUite easy thus far, abi? Ok when the pop-up window opens, the content it will display should be taken from a text file. After 24 hours and the link is clicked again, the pop-up should display content from the next (sequentially) not randomnly text file. And on an on like that.

Cheers

Even sitepotter is a manipulated template. I've thoroughly enjoyed this thread. It just shows us more clearly that the internet consists of the good, the bad and the ugly. My advice to everyone is that whatever technique you know and use, aspire to be the best in it. Or what do you guys think?

Hi Y'all,

I am a Java newbie but since I dont have that much access to a pc to allow me to do my studying on a pc (via cd's or pdf's) so I have to do my studying from Books, which I kinda like. I'm searching for Java books. Someone (mimoh_mi) I met here on nairaland recommended Headfirst Java by o'reilly but I can't seem to find this bnook in Lagos, Nigeria where I stay. I tried checking Francis Van-Lare (Ikeja) and CSS (CMS) but no results. Does anyone know where I can get it or does anyone have a copy I can photocopy or recommend any other good material for me.

Cheers

Its not a matter of taking Biology or not. Fine we were taught all the theory but seeing living examples is what actually amazed me. I'm sure you've never seen any. Its simply amazing,
