I was forced to be wearing pant. antibiotics but c and all was prescribed but no improvement. Dr later told me to go and enjoy it till it last. you can check wit ur doc sha...

From delivery day I used tomee tippe breastpad and I really enjoyed it... when it got finished, I sent my mum to help me get it but she said it was not in stock so she got Chicco. though the. Chicco absorbed more than the former but I think my breast is reacting to Chicco ooo..it causes itchiness and small rashes...has any mama experienced reaction to breast pad?

I also bought avent washable breast pad but it is wack and big trash. it doesn't absorb. I was soaked seriously

Thanks so much,,, I was so busy to come online for the first week plus I was in pain. no time at all. any breathing space from visitors like this, na to rush to bathroom to change... I use dele pad so tey I started having irritation... plus dos period I turned sitz bath to regular routine like means of breathing. and lo can suck for Africa.

It does not even occur to me to come and ask,,, all that was in my mind was to gerrout of the mess.

I am very used to the hospital.. their custom their is to remove everything after procedure.... The doc admitted it was a mistake from him.

my terrible experience post delivery..
I hope other mamas learn from it.

The episiotomy site was damn painful.
the second day post delivery, we took baby Omotola for immunization, I followed them,, I went to clear all the bill myself before my mum and dh came back from mosque..
I just realized that me that have been walking well found it difficult to walk smartly anymore due to pain from episiotomy site... naso all d mamas that came for visit they say diff things...,u are not strong,, stop pampering dis thing, sit very well,, rub ur bombom on chair very well.. walk straight...and all sort.. Damn!!!! the pain was just too much..

then I observed that my lochia was smelling... I was so pissed at point that I shouted my mum from d toilet and asked if dat is how it smells she said yes dat sebi I dey do menses and I was like my menses doesn't smell like dis... I changed pad every 1 hour due to d odour and it got soaked very fast..dh was also complaining dat d odour is much.. I sent my Mum air freshener to always used in d toilet...

I was doing my sitz bath religiously like 3 to 4times daily but no difference in d pain.. people keep on talking to me dat I was pretending.
day 5;:: when people started arriving for naming, I called my elder brother's wife who is a nurse to s bathroom and asked if dat is how lochia smells she answered yes.... when my elder sister came I did d same she said no that her own doesn't smell like dat.... I asked like 5 diff people lik that and they said yes ...... hmmmmm

I had to put my alarm every one hour to change before the thing will ooze out...I continue bearing d pain, very sharp one... I called my doc and one of nurse and they told me I was not doing my sitz bath well......
day 7,,,, naming ceremony day. come and see me walking stylishly and people were making comments dat I ought to have been walking well. na so I went to one corner and called my doc. I asked him if he will be coming for naming as promised he said he is not dt he was busy.

I pleaded to him that am in serious pain that he should come and he asked if dia is wia to examine me and I said no problem... he came around 5 .pm.that day and examined me in my dh room. he told me to assume a lithotomy position and he asked me "did I stuck pad Inside me? i was like for what"
he requested for hand gloves and I gave Him,,he did VE for me and he saw a PAD inside me. it smells like mad that people outside were shouting and ranting waht could be smelling... and tears rolled down my eye.... In all I thank God.. I was placed on heavy antibiotics immediately... the pad has even changed color sef....

sorry for any error,,,I could not read over it again cos my lo is crying.
I thank God Almighty that I didn't come down with postpartum sepsis before it was detected and I thank God for my life

PART 3

Immediately I got home contraction started which was 8 to 7 mins apart
Painful but bearable.. I was busy clearing the house with it ooo.. I downloaded contraction timer before I embarked on the walk. So by the time I got home it has been telling to prepare for hospitalization.

Around few min to 7 I told dh to let us head to d hospital and we left.. bed has been prepared for me cos I told them I will come back.

When I was checked still 2cm dilated and o told the night nurse I will go home that if I cant bear it I will come back..
We got home around 9pm and on entering the house o started hearing shege of my life. For my mind I said am in trouble.
I was entering toilet to we like every 10 to 15 minutes.
Dh husband was initially feeling like strong man sleeping and I was acting like my drama alone. After one hour it got worst and he woke up. He said I should let us move to sitting room cos my voice has started increasing. Dh was living everything 20min to perform ablution and pray. When it got serious I told me to let us go to the hospital around 2 and I told him when it is 5 am cos I was even afraid of the road that time and thank God we didn't leave that time cos on getting to the hospital in the morning we were made to know that they robbed overnight in a very close area to the labor ward.

I was checked and 4cm dilated
My clothes was changed and I was admitted to the labor room. I was the only one cos dia was doctor strike.
My contraction was now 2 to 3 in 10 mins and very very very painful that I was shouting. I called and anaesthetist doc on phone with serious cry that he should come and help with epidural he said he can't that if he comes he will be punished.

The nurses encouraged me to move on but it wasn't funny. I was just crying and shouting with every contraction. I was told to save d energy for pushing as if I don't knw but the pain don't agree me.
Was checked around 10am n 6cm dilated. Oxytocin was set up and me that I sabi the winch work I just clip the drip. later it was checked and d doc saw that it was not flowing n reopened it. Funny enough n it wasn't funny.with every contraction n scream I was shouting I want epidural n no one to administer it.
I got weak n they were giving me glucose at intervals. I later rejected it that I don't want anymore and one of the theatre nurse went brought water for injection n gv me 3 of it to drink.
with all this dh was frequently called in, he will just entered looked at me with pity n Will left. he did it for more than 10 times.
come n see me that dh has been begging to use TENS during labor that I was shouting is epidural I just started begging him to come and apply it but fear no allow him to do his job sef. he just changed story that is another person that is in charge of o n g case

I was feeling the urge to push and I called them to check me which they did. I was transferred to second stage and asked to push with d next contraction. my lo came out at 11:49 am with the third push weighing 2.5kg with episiotomy. lo looks bigger than his weight though.

PART 2

Fast forward to Sept 15, I went for ante natal. The doctors of the hospital i was using were on strike but clinic was still running. I know most of the staff their because I that I where I school.

I was advised to speak with some of the doctors I do have rapport with to come and take my delivery.

Yes!!! I made the move and behold 2 of them agreed to come when I fall into labour but on one condition; it should not be midnight.

After the arrangement I still went further to register at a private hospital...no be small.thing.

Registration and consultation for that night was like 15k.
Though I had a force labor late in the night that prompted me to go


Was checked and told the cervix was very soft but no dilatation.
We left that night. The next day,, dh went out and bought Ice cream and when I asked of mine he replied

...you don't need it at this stage And I replied says who

Secondly he said I should go and collect the ice cream money from the private hospital I went without anything and we both laff it off.

On the 17th which was a sunday,,, had the same set of contraction but it was during the day so I called the head nurse of the unit and she said I should go so that I can be checked which I did and cervix admitted just tip of finger but 50% effaced. I was asked to be walking round the hospital but I left cos I don't want to stay long in the hospital.

On the 21st which was my next clinic day, I was at the clinic and already 38week 6days then.
I told d doc the outcome of my last VE and he said he will do membrane sweep for me. He did it and the nurses asked me to walk around the hospital but I left that I will come back if anything happens.

When I got home, I ate bread,butter and maltina and set for serious walk to areas have never been in my areas. I walked so tey I linked myself to a motorable way that lead to my hospital road and walked back home.

Met dh and he was like who sent me I said the doc and the nurses.

Infact I battled with morning sickness seriously during my first semester exam that it got to a stage I wanted to be admitted but I declined. A friend of mine had to come and set drip for me. I was reading with drip set..

one thing that gingered me always was the fear of not failing so that people won't say na because of pregnancy and it really helped..

My birth story: part 1

Did my nikkah on d 5th of December by the grace of God.
I received my bfp the same month. My lmp was 24th of December. I did pregnancy test like mad cos I was so surprised and couldn't believe it... so soon. But all d same thanks to God.

Na play I call it oooo.. I battled seriously with ms. Plus studentship thing make it terrible. Na on and off sickness thing.
My wedding ceremony was scheduled for April 9 and I was even blaming myself for accepting d date with d way ms was doing me.

Fast forward to April 9.
The wedding day...to God be d glory everything went well. Participated well from day 1 not until during reception when everything started,, dizziness plus vomiting. I was taken to d car wen party was ongoing. I couldn't have a photograph section,,thanks to my Photographer that has captured so many scenes before then.

Night came and was taken to my husband people... forming strong girl. The next morning na hospital we headed to. Was given some medications to use.

I come dey received calls frm my colleagues that the woman in d unit I was supposed to be was paraing for them that nothing concern her about me not feeling fine. She was like who send me to go and marry that I should be ready to face Anything that comes with it. I had to go the next day at least for her to see me.

Dear husband went to drop me and sincerely speaking all d other staff I met really pitied me and they were pampering me not until the yeye oga came around. She first shouted at me to leave her vicinity and I should not sit on their chair. She talked nonsense out of my head ehn....

The next day again na hospital I met myself ooo. Was admitted again
