Jobs/Vacancies / Jobs In Dubai For Graduates 2019 | Latest Vacancies by Portalsupdates: 11:49pm On Jun 27, 2019
Jobs in Dubai for Graduates – Dubai is one of the most beautiful places in the world, the largest and most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is still a developing country but has grown tremendously economically.

It has beautiful sights, tallest buildings and the cost of living is not high. Dubai is one of the places anyone would love to travel to and see the world in its beauty and embellishments.
Getting a job in Dubai can be very difficult especially if you are unfamiliar with the customs or legal difference. Many ways of finding a job which is considered outdated in your country are still a valuable means of finding a job in Dubai. Finding a job with your visa requirements and an understanding of the business culture in Dubai will go a long way in helping you find a job.
Jobs in Dubai are classified into two, government jobs and private jobs. In this article, you will get to know the differences between the two classifications of jobs, the job vacancies under the classifications and how to apply government and private jobs.
Difference between Government Company Jobs and Private Company Jobs
1. Salary
When it comes to government jobs, the salary you earn is dependent on your position and class of employment. The salary is usually predetermined; therefore negotiating is hardly an option. So if you want a salary increment, the best option will be to look for a promotion or pray that the current policy is modified.
For private company jobs, the salary varies according to companies and you have an option to negotiate a salary whenever you feel you deserve more. Large and esteemed companies will probably pay more than SMEs, but this is not always the case.
You can always ask for a higher salary either during the interview or a few months into your job, unlike with government jobs. Remember that in government, there will be allowances and numerous benefits like insurance cover, so be wise in your deliberation.
2. Flexibility
If you are looking for flexibility in your career, then government jobs are the best when it comes to flexibility. The job policy may require you to work from 8 am to 5 am, but implementing it is something else.
In private companies, you may be required to work on your toes with time in and time out system. So if you are in for flexibility, all you will need in government jobs is to organize your schedule.
And within the day you might find that you have a couple of hours to spare, especially because your duties are not as varied as in private companies.
3. Career Development
There are more limitations in working for the government than a private company when it comes to development. Government jobs are territorial and any ideas you may want to pass across may be subdued if the person above you in the hierarchy feels you are overstepping. But in private companies, new ideas are always welcome.
4. Job Security
The most important factor for all employees is the knowledge that their job is secure. No can fully have job security, however, government jobs are more stable than private company jobs. Once you have gone through your probation period and hired permanently, the grounds for you losing that job will either be bad behavior or when your government employer is laying off staff because of the economy.
In private companies, being fired from your position can be as a result of a lot of issues. It could be because you are not Christian or Muslim enough for the organization, you are not performing as the boss would like you to (sometimes even the boss is not sure what they want) or maybe they feel that your department is not bringing in money anymore.
But in government jobs, it’s all about providing services to the citizens of the country so no one will fire you for not making money.

Sports / Afcon: Suspended Sadio Mane To Miss Senegal Opener by Portalsupdates: 10:17pm On Jun 15, 2019
The Liverpool superstar will miss the Teranga Lions’ opening Group C fixture against Tanzania

Sadio Mane will miss Senegal’s opening Africa Cup of Nations fixture against Tanzania due to a suspension, according to Teranga Lions coach Aliou Cisse.

The Liverpool superstar will sit out the West Africans’ first Group C fixture—which will take place at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo on June 23—after picking up two yellow cards during the qualifying campaign.

Mane picked up a yellow card in Senegal’s 1-0 victory against Equatorial Guinea in Malabo on November 17, with the Confederation of African Football also recording another booking in a 2-0 victory over Madagascar on March 23.

"His absence should not in any way bother us," coach Cisse told local journalists, as per BBC Sport. "Certainly the presence of Sadio is beneficial but without him we remain strong.

"Caf have decided, so we will not linger [on the subject]."

Senegal departed for Egypt on Saturday, having previously been at a training camp in Alicante.

After missing the opener, Mane will return for the showdown with Algeria on June 27 and their final group-stage clash, against Kenya on July 1.

"Certainly, with Sadio we would be very good, but even without him we will be very good," explained the coach of the Lions of Teranga.

The tournament will be Mane’s third Africa Cup of Nations, he missed the decisive penalty in Senegal’s quarter-final shootout defeat by eventual

champions Cameroon in 2017, and was a muted presence as the Lions were eliminated in the group stage of the World Cup.

“We all know that Sadio will have a good Nations Cup,” Cisse continued, as per Ahram Online. “The players around him have to raise their level. That's how we'll get there.

"If we received a card in the qualifying round, I do not see the value of counting it during the final phase of the Afcon,” he continued.

“Caf has decided that, but we will prove that Senegal exist without Mane."

Mane only joined his teammates on Thursday after being given an extended leave of absence following his exploits for Liverpool in their Champions League final victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

On Sunday, the Lions meet Nigeria in Ismailia in a warm-up ahead of the Nations Cup kick-off.

Sports / Bournemouth Release Statement Over Fraser's Future Amid Arsenal Transfer Links by Portalsupdates: 6:06pm On Jun 15, 2019

The Scotland international forward is approaching the final year of his contract with the Cherries and has sparked summer exit talk as a result

Bournemouth have sought to clarify their position when it comes to Ryan Fraser’s future, with the Scotland international continuing to be linked with a summer switch to Arsenal.

As things stand, the 25-year-old forward is approaching the final year of his current contract with the Cherries.

Fresh terms are on the table, but they are yet to be signed and exit talk has been sparked as a result.

Fraser has welcomed talk of supposed interest from Emirates Stadium, but doubts that any approaches at the mooted £30 million ($38m) mark will be made.

The situation appears set to rumble on for some time yet, but Bournemouth are eager to point out that they are doing all they can to keep a prized asset on their books.

A statement from chief executive Neill Blak on the club’s official website read: “Much has been written and spoken about the future of Ryan Fraser, as his contract with AFC Bournemouth heads into its final 12 months.

“As is the club’s policy, details regarding contract negotiations or transfer activity are kept confidential and do not enter the public domain.

“However, following some recent reports I felt it was imperative to speak publicly and provide balanced clarity on the situation.

“The offer of a new long-term contract has been on the table for Ryan for some time.

“In September 2018, at the request of Ryan’s representative, negotiations were paused to allow the player to focus entirely on his football.

“He went on to have an outstanding season, with seven goals and 13 assists helping the club secure a fifth successive season of Premier League football.

“During that time, I have been – and continue to be – in regular dialogue with Ryan’s representative, and have made it clear to both him and the player that our contract offer remains on the table.

“Quite simply, Ryan is a fantastic player and an integral part of our squad. We look forward to welcoming Ryan back to us next month after a well-earned break, upon which he can focus on having another standout season for AFC Bournemouth.”

Fraser has been with Bournemouth since 2013, helping them to rise from League One to the Premier League, and contributed eight goals and 15 assists to their cause in the 2018-19 campaign.
Sports / Super Falcons Lash Korea, Ready To Take The Game To France by Portalsupdates: 2:25pm On Jun 15, 2019

African champions Nigeria did what they needed to do by throwing all they had into the game to defeat Korea Republic 2-0 on Wednesday and earn their first three points of the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup.

In the event, the Super Falcons set the stage for a fierce encounter with host nation France on Monday next week, as they look to reach the knockout rounds for the first time in 20 years.

Having lost 0-3 to Norway in their first match and realizing they could be heading back home after the group phase, the Falcons opted for a spritely approach against the Koreans. But captain Desire Oparanozie wasted a great opportunity in the 8th minute when presented with a simple header from a pull-out from Ngozi Ebere. She nodded straight at the Korean goalkeeper.

Perhaps the most inspired decision for the game by Nigeria’s coach Thomas Dennerby was starting former junior international Chiamaka Nnadozie in goal and sending Tochukwu Oluehi, so jittery against Norway, to the bench. The 18 year –old goaltender simply continued from where she left off at the 2018 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup also hosted by France, where she drew some rave reviews.

She cuddled and punched with good judgment, used her long limbs marvelously and stood between the Asians and any goal in the game. Her competence and confidence enabled the Falcons to push forward in search of goals.

After Korean defender Kim Do Yong misdirected a forward thrust by midfielder Rita Chikwelu past her goalkeeper for Nigeria’s first goal in the 29th minute, the Falcons’ spirit soared and they bossed the game for large periods.

Nigeria could have made it two four minutes after the restart, but Oparanozie’s header from a floated free kick by left back Ngozi Ebere went narrowly over the woodworks.

At the back, Nigeria kept things tight against the faster Koreans, with Onome Ebi, appearing at her fifth World Cup, Osinachi Ohale, Ebere and Chidinma Okeke throwing everything in there.

Rita Chikwelu, Ngozi Okobi and Chinaza Uchendu worked hard in the middle. But it was the intelligent right back Okeke, another performer from the 2018 FIFA Women’s World Cup, who got her touches right to send Asisat Oshoala to nick the second goal for Nigeria with 15 minutes left.

As the Koreans attacked, Okobi read the ball well and intercepted, letting Okeke have it and to surge forward. The 18 –year old steered the ball past an advancing Korean and met it at the other end, then weighted her pass to Oshoala, who ran past a defender, beat the goalkeeper and slotted into the net from a rather tight angle. It was a magnificent goal.

The win was Nigeria’s first at the FIFA Women’s World Cup since 2011, when they defeated Canada 1-0 in Germany. It was also the first time they had won a World Cup match 2-0 since achieving the same scoreline against Denmark in the USA in 1999.

It was also the first win for an African team at the ongoing World Cup in France.

The result means three precious points for the Super Falcons, and a real chance of reaching the knockout rounds for the first time since 1999 if they avoid defeat against host nation France in Rennes on Monday.

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick on Wednesday in Asaba presented the award of Football Friendly Governor of the Year to Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of Delta State.

Governor Okowa won the award at the sixth edition of the Nigeria Pitch Awards held in Asaba on Saturday, but neither the Delta State number one citizen nor the NFF supremo were present at the occasion.

Pinnick, also the 1st Vice President of the Confederation of African Football, was summoned to France as a result of some issues related to CAF, and left Asaba on the eve of the awards, which held at the Golden Tulip Hotel hours after the Nigeria/Zimbabwe pre-AFCON 2019 sendforth friendly at the Stephen Keshi Stadium. NFF 1stVice President, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi represented Pinnick at the event.

“I am happy to present this award to Your Excellency, knowing that you are fully deserving of the gong going by what you have done for Nigerian Football in the past one year,” Pinnick said as he presented the award trophy and certificate to Governor Okowa.

Governor Okowa and his administration have hosted several activities of the NFF in the past one year, including four matches of the Super Eagles (Vs Uganda in November 2018; Vs Seychelles in March 2019; Vs Egypt in March 2019 and; Vs Zimbabwe in June 2019); one match of the U23 National Team (Vs Libya in March 2019); the Annual General Assembly of the NFF in October 2018 and; a pre-Extraordinary General Assembly of the NFF in August 2018.

The amiable governor has also handsomely rewarded players and officials of the Super Eagles on more than one occasion. His administration also sponsors several Clubs in the various Leagues in the country – a channel for youth empowerment.

Sports / Eagles Look Forward To Good Outing Against Teranga Lions by Portalsupdates: 2:11pm On Jun 15, 2019

Senegal’s Teranga Lions is Africa’s number one –ranked team, but the Super Eagles are determined to give a good account of themselves when both teams square up in Ismailia on Sunday evening.

Feelers from the camp indicate only a very positive ambience with players and officials thinking of how to bring honour and glory to the nation, when the whistle goes for kick off at the 32nd Africa Cup of Nations finals in seven days.

The last time both Nigeria and Senegal clashed at senior level was on 23rd March 2017, at The Hive (home of Barnet FC and London Bees) in London. Kelechi Iheanacho equalized from the spot after Moussa Sow had put Senegal ahead – both goals coming in the second half.

Three –time African champions Nigeria are on an eight –match unbeaten run since elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia.

Sunday’s game has been scheduled to start at 7pm Egypt time (6pm Nigeria time) and both Federations have agreed that the match be played behind closed door in order to enable both coaching crews to tinker with tactics and strategy during the encounter.

The Nigeria delegation will depart from Ismailia on Monday morning, for Alexandria – venue of their Group B attrition against Burundi, Guinea and Madagascar.
