Announcing the result of the Rivers State Governorship Election, the returning officer of Rivers State declared Wike of the PDP winner after polling 886,264 against his closest rival Awara Biokpomabo of AAC’s polled 173,859.

Rigging has come to stay in Nigerian elections. Nobody should complain about any party getting away with rigging abeg. This Rivers rigging is even worse than Kano. How can a party score over 300k votes in a Local government Let's call a spade a spade. This one heavy. Respect.
