Today another Fisherman caught the Shark this morning in Oyorokotor, the same place where blue marlin was also caught. God has blessed Andoni.

That is a bull shark. Can be identified by their short-flat mouths, gray top and white underbelly.

They have always been in Nigerian (African) waters and are more likely to hunt in shallow waters- making them encounter humans more. However, they have accounted for fewer fatalities in comparison to the great white (the shark in Jaws).


Pound for pound they have the greatest bite force. So it is a deadly combination if they encounter you, abi you encounter them.

I don’t know its economic value, it doesn’t even matter, because I am sure it has been butchered and eaten.

We really dunno how God has been protecting us from shark bite in our beaches

Could be that weather changes is effecting the movements of some of these fish species.. Their migratory pattern.... Very tough reality for them if so.... It means the weather has driven them into the hands of "hungry lions"...
