February 24th, I was asked to come for interview on 5th March but I went there March 1st and captured on March 4th. My collection day is supposed to be tomorrow but I won't be going till the end of the month.

The first few pages of this thread and the Immigration website I read a couple of weeks ago stated that National ID suffices as a means of identification for the Guarantor. Upon loading the Immigration website that I had bookmarked earlier I can now see that only Passport, and in fact, the new E-passport, is acceptable as a means of identification for the Guarantor. Has anyone recently had success with or knows if other means of identification, in particular, the National ID will work?

I think you could be right, as at February when I submitted my files, the officer in charge returned the nimc of my guarantor, took only the passport data page and the rest duly signed.

Glory be to God. I just pick my passport at Oshogbo office. Today makes it exactly a month I paid for express fee cos I needed the passport urgently. I applied on the 18th of February admidst no booklet period and I collected it today.

Well, before that day, visit SERVICOM unit and tell them you'd like to change it to 64 pages.
They may decline but add polite pressure and you'd find help.

Hello My Fellow Nairalanders,

I need to apply for a passport renewal as a DIY, and hope to correct/replace my first name and my place of birth.

Already did my research on the NIM website (https://immigration.gov.ng/standard-passport/), and I undertsand that I need to (1) write an application letter for the "Correction of Error(s) and (2) pay the non-refundable administrative charges of N30K.

Please does any have any experience for this particular case/scenario? Your advice/insight will be highly appreciated.

Been trying to book a date for an interview but nothing comes up when I pick Lagos u don’t even get to see that next available date stuff
But when I change it to Abuja it brings out next available date
I don’t know what’s wrong
This started over some few weeks back when I logged in

I have been denied twice and I had both interviews in Abuja
But I doubt it shouldn’t be a reason why I can’t pick Lagos
Is there any way I can make complaints to them or what’s your take on this

I'm glad you tried after all there's no harm in trying. My collection day was yesterday but I didn't go because I didn't want the stress and disappointment of it not being ready yet. Did they say yours will be ready next week or you're just being optimistic?
