Good morning everyone and our guiders. Please I have a couple of questions. I am a masters student
1. I registered for my project am yet to be assigned a supervisor, my worry now is that I might not finish before June which might be defense,. I want to know if project defense is conducted every semester
2. What is the graduation requirement for total credit unit to be passed for masters in peace studies and conflict resolution.
Thank you
The answer to your first question is yes. Project moderation and defense holds every semester. Howbeit, you are expected to submit three proposed project topics before you will be assign a supervisor .

Admission is on for the current semester and registration is scheduled to close on 20th April.

I understand that admission is on throughout the year. If I apply in the second semester, will I register for courses of that semester or first semester?

Please, if a person has Carry-Over, they don't have to register the course again, just the exam right? (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

And when they they've registered the exam again, please how will they do their TMAs this time? Or will it be the former TMA scores that will be used for them?

Seems you don't really understand the course. Maybe you even applied to the programme without having the necessary background. Like you, some of us have at one time or the other failed one or two courses. But if failure persist, then it's time to reflect and be honest with oneself.

Please try to meet with some of your colleagues particularly those that have passed the course. Let them explain things to you. Let them evaluate you and see where you are lacking and tell you where you need to work on. But I will tell you to be honest with yourself and be ready to work harder. As they say, you don't do something the same way and expect different result.

I wish you success at your next trial.

My people abeg I need some clarifications. Abeg is there anyway I can see my 2018 results from portal or physical office? I started the program in 2018 but completed only one semester before I was transferred from work. Now I want to resume the program this semester and I can't recollect my previous results.

Also, can I skip a carry over elective course provided I complete my requires unit load for the program? Missed one elective that semester and I'm thinking of skipping the course now.

You do much of the studies by yourself. You get course materials and study them. The exams are done at the Study Centres. 100L-200L courses as well as all GST (General Studies) courses are e-exams (MCQ and FBQ). All other courses are pen on paper exams.
Registration is every semester.

1. You can register your project this semester since u have passed research methodology.

3. Project Registration costs 15k for undergraduate programmes. Duration is for as long as u finish.
To register the project. Login to your portal and click REGISTRATIONS then REGISTER PROJECT.
You don't expect to see your project under "Course Registration".

Rename the file (passport) to your matriculation and upload. If you still have issues, convert from JPEG to .PNG. with the name still your matriculation number and upload

Thank you so much for the response sir. Please see attached my current exam registration for this semester.. It's already on 24 units.. Since project registration is different, will it add to make it 30? Can I still register for the project?
