Getting interviews are competitive o. You should first of all make your CV attractive and then network more. All the jobs I've got so far have been through networks. They may not necessarily give you the job but a word in the right ear can at least get you an interview and who knows.. the job

When I was an engineer, I applied to over 500 jobs and It took me a year to get an interview which led to a job. Switched to IT and when I was job hunting, I was getting at least ten interviews every week even for very big IT firms.

You shouldn't get tired. 2 months after NYSC is too early to start loosing hope. My advise is that you should challenge yourself to search for and apply for atleast 100 jobs that match your qualifications and or experience (if any). Dont worry if you dont have any experience and the advert states 2 - 3 years experience just go ahead ànd apply.
Some tips
1. Have a functional email
2. Format your CV properly.
3. Prepare a good cover letter. Make sure for every application, the content matches the job requirements.
4. Try as much as possible to apply for only jobs that match your background. For example don't go and apply for a Lab Scientist position when you know you studied Business Administration.
5. Rejections should not discourage you.
6. There are many trusted job hunting sites online. Be a regular visitor to anyone you feel confortable with.
7. Pray well and always be positive.
