Nigeria momo is under reveiw . the banks and authority there are not willing to let it happen . now MTN has got their first licence, you will see how it work. when Nigeria fully start , any African that are in it will thrilled behind it because Nigeria has a massive population to do the market .

I used to run Mpesa payment system for our companies in 7 africa countries. MTN didn't even have an API. I managed MTN, MPESA, TIGO CASH, AIRTEL, name them...and our payment system received a payment every second. MTN MOMO is like MPESA in 2011 or earlier. Please when it come to Mobile Money - Kenya is the MECCA - By FAR. That is why many companies interested in Africa are setting base in Nairobi.

Poverty capital has no such money. Mobile Money doesn't create new money. Total Bank assets in Nigeria now is 100B - kenya is at 45B.
