We have to look at the players we’ve loaned out- which of them can be a starter or can be a good bench option? Then we need to think about the positions that we need to strengthen, identify targets and then go after them.

It’s not until the season ends before we start making moves.

None is really ready IMO. James Garner is doing quite well at Forest after struggling at Watford but he is probably 1 year away from being ready to contribute. Mengi is probably 1-2 years away. As a CB it is better he makes all his mistakes on loan away from the bright lights of Old Trafford. He too is not doing too badly at Derby County.

Tahith Chong in Belgium, Dylan Levitt in Croatia, and Bernard at Salford City have little or no chance of making it here.

Pereira ke? That one time don expire. Better to sell him off for small change. Pereira has good technique but little awareness or vision. Plays central midfield like a winger. Hannibal can get those minutes instead. He and Greenwood are the best i have seen in our academy in a long time.

I am not sure Dalot is better than Brandon Williams, not to talk of Ethan Laird who is in my opinion better than both barring injury problems. A decision has to be made between Dalot and Williams for next season pending Laird's development and recall probably in 2022

Meanwhile the Under-23 coach Neil Wood should give himself brain and stop playing Mejbri as a LWF. They know how to confuse players in that academy.
