In the wake of this Fulani dominant government,a lot of friction and pain have been caused to the people of south Nigeria.
This has made most of us emotional and in fact delusional in our thinking
Biafra and Oduduwa republics are not as attainable as we think it is
What we should clamour for instead should be a confederation
We need to think
The main problem of Nigeria is the tribal division
We need a confederate, then getting biafra and Oduduwa will be easier and without war
We should reason without sentiments.

I rep south Nigeria!
We do away with the north!
South Nigeria!

United autonomous states of southern Nigeria!

That's the point
The many minority groups can't be alone as a countries
So the region they find themselves in would cater
If Nigeria divides into 3 we'll be more vulnerable
And we will keep dividing if we don't find a common ground to unite
Can Nigeria divide into 250 as represented by the ethnic groups?
No
We should divide into 2 instead
And the south would have 3 autonomous regions
No marginalization whatsoever
The presidency and top offices would be rotated between the regions
And the regions would in turn rotate between the ethnic groups
We can't keep slaving away for the north!
The north planted the seed of discord in the south for a reason!

What do you think??

Will it be better?
I think its more realistic

Ojukwu went to Aburi in January 1967 to negotiate and restructure Nigeria into a confederation. Those who neither wanted confederation or restructuring, fought him in a civil war for 3 years

Ojukwu was too clumsy and in a rush
If he waited and continued trying and didn't declare Biafra,we might(Nigeria) have been one of the best nations today
The killings in the north were kinda justified
Their sardauna and many of their elites were killed by a majority and Igbo led coup

Then that means you dont know Nigerian history. The same confederation you are talking about here is what Ojukwu negotiated with Gowon in Aburi, it was signed and sealed in front of the then President of Ghana, General Joe Ankrah.

But when they returned to Nigeria, Gowon and his Northern cohorts not only rejected the signed agreement, they even enacted a decree that abolished the Eastern Region that Ojukwu was military Governor of.

Ojukwu had no time like people think he did, it was either act now, or wait and act no more

The North will never agree to confederation, or that Nigeria be restructured

As I said
Ojuwu was in a hurry
There was nothing to rush about
He should have known there'll be a war
Assuming he was more patient, two things might have happened
1. Nigeria gets the needed restructuring
2.He wins the war
He was too much in a hurry(one wonders if he didn't have an ulterior motive)
Your last line shows that you're blind in hate, simple
You cant just write off a whole people like that!

I also despise the North for all these
But Im still rational in my thinking

ojukxu demanded a fraudulent restructure......

ojukwu demanded that the niger delta that was carved out already should be in same autonomous region with the igbos.... and people know that it was the igbos oppression to the minorities that make gowon to carved out the region after protests from Ijaws... so when gowon realized that he quickly rejected the fraudulent aburi accord..

The same confederation that Ojukwu went to Aburi to secure, and you Nigerians followed the North to fight Ojukwu to make sure there is no confederation?

The current system benefits the North, and anyone who thinks that the North will allow it to be changed is dreaming

ojudu type of restructure was to clip the niger delta into his east so as to let the created by mistate tribe to benefit alone, thats why niger deltans led by ijaws agitate to gowon to refused the satanic agreement.. gowon remain niger delta saviour.. same saved isaac boro from blood thirsty ironsi. gowon the hero of niger delta.

No, Ojukwu went to Ghana hoping the rest of West Africa would allow him become another Dictator. When that didn’t happen, he invaded Nigeria by attacking the neutral Midwest. Nigeria retaliated by pushing the Biafran troops sent by Ojukwu out of their territory and back to the East. In an effort to stop further unprovoked attacks on innocent Nigerian citizens by Biafran Forces, Biafra land was surrounded for 3yrs.The war ended when Ojukwu finally capitulated and fled the battle scene by escaping to Ivory Coast.

Nobody said NO SINGLE NON IBO participated in the coup, the MAJOR actors were Ibos and were mainly officer , Major and above not all these privates and sergeants you listed above

And what was the result of that hasty decision. If he had waited , he still could have achieved what he wanted than not achieving it by making some hasty youthful decision that spelt doom

The sardauna was killed by federal forces. People who had the constitutional authority to bear arms just like the ones currently committing genocide in the southeast.

What does that have to do with innocent people of the east in northern Nigeria, or must you lots always unjustly seek to justify your heinous atrocities?.
